Hospital Care reviews in Madison

I broke my wrist at the end of June and was hospitalized for 2 nights following surgery on 7/2. Over the course of the 2 days I had about 6 nurses. All of them were friendly and competent, but had noticeably different practice styles. I also saw several residents, pharmacists, OT's, and nursing assistants. Everyone was friendly and seemed to care about how I was feeling and making sure my recovery went well so that I could make it home. I would recommend the Provider name locked. to anyone because while residents are involved in your care and they are learning, the fact that they are learning and bringing in new methods, styles, and ways of thinking helps to keep the hospital on the cutting Provider name locked. . If you are not happy with your resident MD, you can always ask to see the attending.- Michelle F.
I was treated and taken good care of by the nursing staff. I was kept for observation and testingtill thursday. I feel everyone was very professional at their jobs and performed greatly. However when I was there a year ago I had the same staff experience (awesome) even the food. This time around the food was barely fit for the pigs. A great dissapointment since the rest of the hospital runs so nicely. When discharged iI went to the food court and even there, was a lack of care for the food. The staff eats this food and deserves better. Bottom line quality control.- LEROY S.
Right from the start, as soon as I entered Provider name locked. ready to give birth, they asked if I needed a wheelchair. They checked me in, took me to the room, made sure they answered my questions, and monitored me regularily to make sure I was progressing. Then 4 hours after I entered the hospital, my son's heart rate started to drop significantly. The cord was wrapped around his neck, so they rushed me into the operating room to do an emergency C-section. It was scary, but the staff was with me the whole way. My son was perfectly fine and the treatment I received days later was EXCELLENT. The food was FABULOUS, rooms beautiful, lactation specialists knew what they were doing and I will NOT go anywhere else for delivery for a child.- Lisa N.
