    There was some delay on the installation end, but once the technicians showed up, the actual installation went pretty smooth. We were using some pre-existing equipment which was unable to be hooked into our new system, but it was not much of an issue due to the location of those portions of the system. We also chose to add to the system to ensure that we had well-rounded coverage. We've been using Vivint for 18 months now and are extremely satisfied with the quality of service provided. Yes, this provider is more expensive than some of the others, but I feel that the high level of customer service is well worth the extra cost. Other than a few issues with the cameras, all of the equipment has worked flawlessly since installed. The only thing someone may want to consider is the functionality of some of the equipment. We opted to have 2 cameras installed. Unfortunately, the technology doesn't seem to have caught up with consumer expectations yet. The cameras work a little too well! They record EVERY bit of movement that occurs. We've attempted numerous times to change the sensitivity to only pick up people walking through the area, but it has not changed the fact that the camera records every bit of movement that occurs - including lights, very tiny bugs and wind. As a result, it can be quite time consuming to search through the video clips to find when a person initiated the recording. Despite this issue, the quality of the images is pretty good and I feel much better knowing that a potential burglar's photo can be retrieved if needed.

    The base station was shipped with a T-Mobile chip, which has terrible coverage at my location. Called the company, and they quickly shipped a Version chip replacement, which has a better coverage but not the best.

    The electrician did great work.  He seemed to know what he was doing and knew exactly what we wanted. We purchased a groupon deal for $79 for an hour of service, knowingly that we would have probably closer to an hour and a half or two hours worth of odds and ends we wanted done.  It would have been nice if he was on the phone a bit less, as one point, he seemed to be on the phone for about 10 minutes without working at the same time.  To the customer, all I see is the meter running.  We did run into a small snaffu where the electrician was working in the basement and unplugged the chest freezer and dehumidifier.  We have had the same freezer and dehumidifier running for over 8 years so we knew it was not us who unplugged it and laid it across the freezer.  We didn't notice this for almost a week and lost all of the contents of our freezer and were left with a pretty nasty mess.  The Owner, Brent, was very apologetic and took responsibility for the error, while the electrician and the service manager Dave tried to put the blame on us. Thankfully, we were able to work out the issue with Dave and Brent and were ultimately reimbursed for the cost of our freezer contents without any further issues.  We provided them pictures and an itemized statement of all items that were lost in the incident. 
    I would definitely have them back out to do work again.  I understand mistakes can be made but it says a lot for Brent as the owner, and the company, that they were willing to take resposibility and replace the freezer items that were lost and to me, that shows a very upstanding person and company and someone I would do business with again.

    Brooke was very helpful in providing an at home consultation.  She answered all my questions promptly via email.  The installation was scheduled quickly and was handled in a professional manner.  They have great customer service!

    It went OK. I believe it was shipped pretty quickly.  Communication with them was fine.  The only problem was when I was out of state and my son would come to the house the security company would call even after my son would put the correct code in. I have not received a clear answer as to why this happened. The service has been good but it is a service you can purchase at your local hardware and/or electronic store for a lot less money.

    Everything went great. The woman I worked with walked me through picking the package that was best for my home. She helped me use one of the Angie's List deals and customize based on my needs. Everything was super simple to set up and the man I spoke with to set-up was top notch. They are prompt to call the moment my alarm goes off and are happy to help with any questions I have.

    My friend was also impressed with their customer service as compared the ADT. She said ADT seemed indifferent when she called them with questions but Font Point very helpful with her questions. They shipped the system and a very nice rep walked them through the installation by phone.

    This is an easy,do it yourself set up so no one has to come to your home and it's also a cellular system so not connected to a landline phone. The door and window alarms look like the cheap, white window alarms you can pick up at a hardware store which was disappointing but they do the job. There are so many alarm/monitoring options you can choose from depending on your needs and can add more options at a later date if you wish. The few installation questions we had were answered by their service center staff who were very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We also had a day or so to school ourselves with all the options of the system before we went "live".  We opted for the monthly monitoring fee option of being able to use our cell phones to monitor the system and to arm/disarm the alarm even if away from the house. Would highly recommend this option if you are away from home frequently. Fortunately we haven't had occasion to have our alarm go off so have had no experience with FrontPoint's response to an actual alarm. So far we are very happy we chose FrontPoint.
