  • We have a very slow internet. We are not having good luck with them. Their responsiveness is good. The first person I got had used old wiring that they do not use anymore and the second person had to redo the whole thing. He identified it, told me about, and redid it all even though that made them look a little worse or a little bit bad. In that way, I would say the professionalism of that guy was an A. If I left and would come back to them, I am not sure I would.

  • Went very well, he worked with me to chase down the issue, which turned out to be at a switch box down the street. Very quick response, polite, professional, apologized for the problem.

  • They are like any other provider and I have not heard anybody say much good about such kind of provider.  I called them because I wanted to move my bill to a different credit card and I asked them to lower my cost so they said they can lower my cost however they mistakenly tickling my channel.  I have to call them to get it back sometimes I email them.  The internet connection and television transmission are all the same.  I have to talk to different person on every little things and I have to wait to every person I talk to.

  • The only service appointment ATT has kept as promised was installation.  Since then they have not only missed every single service appointment but doing so once left me with an extra 14 hours of their equipment making a high-pitched whine so intense it induced a migraine.  The worst was when they broke a promise made to my neighbor who called for me to send a service person same day when their line was down across my driveway leaving us with no telephone service and no means to call 911 in the event of an emergency and my daughter has T1 Diabetes:  a life threatening disease and of which my neighbor did inform them when she called for me. The next day they denied making the promise, informed us that "dispatch determines the priority of repairs".  Apparently, human life isn't one of them.  When the repairman did arrive, he noted that downed lines were to have been the priority the previous day and that at the time my neighbor called, he was 1/4 mile directly up the street.  Dispatch sent him to another town for a repair that did not involve a downed line. Since then, ATT is completely unremorseful referring to this as a simple "temporary loss of service" rather than the life-endangering incident it was.  I am speaking with an attorney about a possible lawsuit.  This could have cost my daughter her life.

  • The phone service is fine.  Internet is all right but sometimes pretty slow.  Customer service is terrible -- sales people quote prices that don't include all sorts of add-on fees, bills are extremely confusing, and you get shuttled from one customer service person to another and yet another when there is a problem. 
    After we switched to AT&T based on their inaccurate price quotes we wanted to change back to TDS, our old service provider, but they were no longer taking customers.

  • I had a terrible experience with them. An installer was putting something next door and he cut our cable off  on Saturday morning and they would not return until this morning. Their internet service is fast. It is 30 megabytes. I pay $120 a month for their services. They were also here when they said that they would. I would use them until the end of the contract time and I would definitely dump them when we have used that up already.

  • They messed up our alarm system when they installed the phone line and Uverse system. They should have known that their system will not work with our alarm system. I will never use their service again.

  • They have gotten too big.  They are trying to sell people a double cable instead of a single cable and it does not work.  I had 10 different technicians come and tell me that it was not a good system.  I used them for 3 months and they tried to get it coordinated but they could not.  It was an awful experience.  Their price was comparable and not out of line.  They continually sent technicians and there was constant management.  They tried really hard.  The other problem is that they are too specialized.  Each technician that came out knew something different.  They do not have a technician who knows how to fix everything.  They were trying to solve the problem but could not.  The people on the phone were terrible.  All the tech services they tried to sell me were useless.  They did not know anything about Apply, anything about the phone and I could not reason with them.  They were totally unreasonable.

  • Today I stayed in the house all day waiting for AT&T repair to come fix my phone lines that have been nonfunctional for nearly 3 weeks. Apparently, the repair truck showed up but reported that they had "no access." I never heard the doorbell ring, nobody ever called me, nobody left a note on the door, nobody looked in the back yard nor the garage, nobody called out for me. I do not know where I was at the precise moment they arrived, but I was home and had been home all day. When they did not arrive by 5:30 this afternoon, I called and was given this information about the repairman's inability to "gain access."This is the third time that I have spent an entire day trapped at home waiting for AT&T to show up. The first time, they were 6 hours late and I missed them because I had an appointment that I had to go to after I had waited all day. The second time the same thing happened. I am outraged at their lack of service and professionalism. I fail to understand why they could not call and let me know when they would be here or why they would not look for me when my car was in the driveway and my garage door was open.This is not the first time I have had bad experiences with AT&T. They are incompetent and unreliable. They are also a major contributor to right-wing causes and if I had a choice I would not ever use them at all.

  • They screwed everything up. They told me I would have a specific phone number and I could have my other 2 numbers transfered. They failed on all accounts. I advertised with the new number I was suppose to have. When they gave my number to someone else it cost me $3000 (the price of my advertisement.)
