College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving
Josh, James and Jonathan did a great job. I had them clear out some stuff for my Dad. They came in and did exactly as advertised. Gave him an estimate and then completed his removal project at a fair price. I would definitely use them again.

Although the movers had the muscle to get refrigerator down the stairs and into the basement, lacked finesse in how to manage the project. We had already removed the doors, but they did not remove drawers or take precaution to protect fridge when getting it through the entryway. Took much more time than it should have. This was not a good experience and cost was almost 2x what we had been quoted.

It went very well. .Bob and his hard-working, pleasant crew worked very fast and were very organized and efficient in how they got things done. It can feel frenetic once they start working. Bob arrives in high gear, raring to go and predisposed to getting things out of the house. It helps to think through in advance exactly what you do and do not want to part with.. Bob can be a little pushy in favor of getting rid of things. As an example, I regret having parted with a nearly new twin bed. Bob promptly responded to phone messages and was very punctual every time he came. He and his crew did a very thorough house cleaning and carpet cleaning, after removing truckloads of furniture and househild items.

    Hunter Home Solutions
Hunter Home Solutions was prompt, professional and curtious of our clinic atmosphere. They removed them quickly and quietly up our back steep staircase. The price was very reasonable for the fantastic work they did. We will definitely use their services again and would highly recommend to anyone!

It went poorly they were late arriving on day one. I had to call and verify the appointment. I received a call back in about 15 minutes stating they had truck problems and were heading out then. They arrived 4 hours after the planned arrival. When they came out to provide the quote they took down the measurements for the gate which accesses to the back yard and measurements for the patio. They also said there would be rubber mats placed on the lawn to prevent damage to the lawn. Once they arrived they didn't get the appropriate hauler to fit through the fence gate even though it was discussed at the time they came out to measure. They had to go get the rental. They kept no record of the measurements we had requested for the patio. They only placed the protective mats in the front yard and damaged the back yard lawn by not placing the mats there. They used the wrong base color for the concrete. When questioned, they provided well rehearsed excuses that proved to be inaccurate. They said the brown color would fade into the pewter we had ordered and had confirmed in the contract with them. They say the color is an approximation and some variance is expected. We were prepared for darker or lighter but not an entirely different color. We have asked for the invoice showing the color that was used and they haven't provided the invoice or any explanation for 2 weeks now. They were non-responsive for days after we initially questioned the color as well. The mess left behind was about a 1 - 2 foot wide band of crushed rock all around the patio and damage to the back lawn. When questioned about the excessive rock they said it was to keep the rock in place under the deck and tried to up-sell landscaping to apply dirt and sod to cover the rock. The extra rock was also not discussed during the initial measuring and discussion of how everything would work. The deck looks okay even with the wrong color. We'll see how long it lasts. Given the dismal follow up history of the company, I cannot recommend them, as they show no interest in doing anything to address their mistake.

We have lived in this house for 55 years. Neither one of us was ever into throwing things out. My husband was in the construction trades for 50 yrs, a master plumber and built houses on the side. We cleaned out 3 houses of relatives ourselves. There were tools from 2 generations of plumbers, "stuff" torn out of houses, pieces of pipe--everything from actual antiques to lots of trash. They came in, and in an afternoon cleaned out the areas I wanted cleaned. I will have them back for the packed-full garage and to move things from the house as well.

I used Two Men and a Truck many years ago to move a sofa I bought second hand, and friends who recently moved had used the company and were very pleased with the job they did. When I called, the company contact answered the phone promptly and was able to schedule a move within a few days. The movers had another job earlier in the day, so they only had 4 hours available for the Saturday I wanted to move. I only wanted to move about half of my household in order to leave some items for staging sale of my house, so this seemed perfect. It turned out to be plenty of time, and the movers completed the job in less time than had been allotted. Two teams came: Alex & Josh and Devin & Rob. Alex was the one who coordinated the move and packing of the truck.
These movers were professional, efficient, very hard working and a pleasure to work with. They were careful with my furniture, using furniture pads and giving additional attention to fragile items. They were very skilled at getting large items through narrow spaces, like up the basement stairs, and packaged the moving truck very efficiently. I was amazed at how quickly they were able to move everything.

Good communication throughout. Once the weather cooperated the project began. Demo work to remove the multiple cement pieces (slab/ sidewalk/pavers) of different heights and sections. Ugly, ugly. The demo work was handled efficiently with minimal disturbance to the property- surprisingly since it was a difficult area to get to.  Paul was on the job for this and helped me select a stamp and color for the concrete patio. I ended up going with what he recommended and I'm glad I did- it turned out beautifully! The wasn't a huge project (10 x 14) but they made me feel like I was a valued customer. Some companies don't seem to think these are worth their time but I never felt that way. The crew worked efficiently. I was unable to be home for most of the 2 day project (I was amazed  they completed this so fast) but everything went well. It's nice to deal with honest and dedicated professionals, I highly recommend.

Al's Moving & Labor Service LLC
Things did not go well. They did show up on time (early in fact). I had already moved all my boxes to the new house garage so all that was left was the furniture. It took a full 8 hours to move my furniture to the house down the street. They had given me the rate of $112.00 per hour. A few days before the move he sent me a proposed invoice. There were many additions to the price he had given me including truck cost $120.00 and insurance fee $90.00. With 8 hours of labor the total was far above what was estimated even though I had given a detailed list of what needed to be moved. Once the movers had left, I found several things broken. The keys in my desk drawers had been broken (I found the pieces thrown into a box) off so the drawers are no longer usable. My dining room table had been taken apart and not put back together-there are a few bolts in loosely and many are missing. I found a bookcase leg piece broken off. My outdoor storage bins were broken apart.  I was not told of any of these accidents. The owner of this company is related to a good friend of mine so I feel bad for having to write this report but I would NOT use this company.

Dave came while I was out of town. I was a bit hesitant to have someone work without being able to monitor what was being done, but I came back and everything was great. Grass is growing where he seeded after a week and the lawn is on its way to being the best it has been in years.
My next door neighbor had work done by Dave last year, it was affordable and done well there as well.
