    They did a wonderful job. It felt like neighbors came in after a barn burnt. They treated us like friends They were honest, explained what they were going to do and really kept us in the loop. They explained what they could and could not restore. Once they thought they got something on the bathroom floor and they called me to ask if it were there before. Because we were not sure if it had been there before, they went ahead and replaced the floor. They packed everything and hauled it out of the house before they began work and everyone was nice and honest. Extremely professional company whom we would highly recommend to anybody.

    We were talked into buying one of their warehouse deals , which means you lose all rights to return the unit. Well their delivery drivers damaged the freezer drawer in transport. Luckily I did buy the warranty so we're covered right? Well, yes and no. Their warranty company, Diamond, has yet to fix our freezer drawer as of 7/5/18 and we bought the unit on April 24th. We've contacted both a number of times. Honestly, this kind of post purchase service is awful. I would just own up to the lemon and offer a credit towards another purchase. Instead, we will never be going back to this store knowing how they stand behind their sales, and I will make sure to let all who will listen know this as well.

    We did not ultimately purchase the piano in question, but the owners of Family Piano went out of their way to accommodate our desire to see it quickly at the end of a Friday, despite their own personal and professional commitments. They were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly despite there being relatively little likelihood of an actual purchase under those circumstances. This was the kind of old-fashioned generosity and service that's very hard to find these days, and very much appreciated by us.

    John and his crew arrived early. They quickly and carefully moved our Yamaha upright piano from the first floor of our house to their truck. They drove directly to our daughter's home where they moved the piano up narrow stairs to the upper level of the home. They protected both the piano and the finishes in both houses during the move.

    We purchased a washing machine from Grand. I do not feel like the salesperson accurately described the features of the washing machine and I was unhappy with the machine once it was installed. I called and asked if I could exchange it for another. The person who answered the phone transferred me to the salesperson we worked with. He said, "Oh we can't do anything just because you don't like the machine." But he also said he would check with his manager and call me back. He never called me back. I went to their website and either filled out a web contact form or sent them an email asking them to let me know one way or the other if they would let me exchange or return the washer. I never heard from them. Then today (over a year later) I got a reply to my email with a virus attached. I should have asked more questions about the washer to be sure I understood they way it worked before I bought it, but I'm disgusted that they blew me off when I contacted them. If they didn't want to take the washer back, they should have told me directly that they wouldn't take it back. They should not have told me that they would call me back if they weren't really going to call me back, and they should not have ignored my email. And they should definitely not have let their system be hacked and used to send viruses to their customers. (I know this last thing isn't directly under their control, but just ticked me off all over again.) I will never shop here again. I will shop somewhere with good customer service.

    We purchased a Capital Range from Grand Appliance 1 year and 4 months later it stopped holding temperature. The customer service representatives were slow to get back to us, robotic and rude in speaking with us and gave us a Chicago-based service company that charged us $0.50/mile just to come out and service the oven. We thought we were buying from a local company that would service our oven locally. They were rude, the product failed just past 1 year and they would not help us (unless we paid $500 for that help).

    Wonderful! The staff were friendly, fast and patient. They were happy...which makes me feel good about hiring this company assuming they pay and treat their employees well. The Victorian house has a lot of intricate wood work and they were conscious and careful with our stuff and the house. I was impressed with their attitude and professionalism. We will recommend and hire them again in an instant.

    Very well. The estimator arrived on time and was thorough and professional. In the end we moved some things ourselves in advance, so we came in well under the estimate. The three movers, Lucas, Steven, and ?Barrett, were careful and attentive. The worked steadily and finished in a very reasonable time. Nothing was broken and things were set up well at the new house. This is the second time I have used Mad City and both experiences were very good.

    Jeff  I've had out frequently. and I really like him, he's excellent. 

    I would absolutely use him again. 

    He is extremely responsive, every year he called me and asked when I wanted to make an appointment to have tuning done. He arrives on time. Never had to cancel, He is excellent, very good. He keeps track of his customers. He makes a really good business out of it.
