Amazing!!! Courtney is such a great trainer I couldnt rave about her enough. She is really easy to work with and motivational. She works around your schedule really easily and checks in often to keep you on track. 10/10 would hire again!

Horrible. A bunch of meat heads that slam weights. Equipment that doesn't work or makes noise. Dirty locker rooms. Pool, hot tub or sauna doesn't work daily. Staff doesn't care once you sign the contract.

I had to take half a day of vacation to drive two hours down to Madison to meet them for one hour. The repeated back to me what had been discussed in the emails, and then asked for clarification of what I wanted to focus on first. That was useful. When asked if my priority was weight loss or good everyday vegetarian health, I told them weight loss. They offered to sell me a very expensive weight loss program that was highly restrictive and I did not want that. So then I changed my priority to good everyday vegetarian health. They said they could come up with something, and I would have to log what I ate for 5 days and they would plug that into a free nutrition counter and made an offer to keep costs down. I left the meeting with nothing but an email address of a free on-line nutrition counter. Needless to say I was very disappointed. I spent the two hour drive back home re-counting "what just happened?" It's taken me over a month to decide whether or not to post this review, but I decided I have to let others know that for $80 all you are getting is a discussion of what they might be able to do for you, no guarantees. In the past when I had a one-time meeting with a nutrionist I at least walked away with a plan, not a good one for a vegetarian, but it was something I could at least start with. I believe these women have good intentions but I can't help but feel like I wasted $80 for the meeting, $20 for gas, and 4 hours vacation time for absolutely nothing.

I couldn't be more impressed with the detail and comprehensive information that Mixed Nuts provided! They were wonderful in the thoroughness of the multidimensional analysis and thoughtful research that was applied to generate a personalized and non-judgmental report that addressed my health and nutritional questions.
    The specifics:
I met initially with the senior member of Mixed Nuts staff who explained to me what the range of services are that Mixed Nuts provides.
Based on this interview, it was decided that to best answer my questions and for them to provide me with appropriate, personalized guidance, I would need to keep a comprehensive dietary diary for several "typical" days spanning a week or so.  It was also recommended that I get current laboratory tests done that measured an array of physiological and metabolic factors including blood counts, measures of inflammation, renal and liver function, thyroid function, electrolytes,  and cholesterol levels, etc. They had an arrangement with a lab for a cost effective method to get this array of labs done.
They took the dietary data and generated a detailed and specific report that related all the factors to the relevant components that impact the specific physiologic issues that I wanted addressed. The report specifically detailed areas that, if tweaked, could result in improvement in my wellbeing. An example is that while I eat adequate vegetables, there was a relative dearth of soluble fiber, which, if increased through the simple addition of more bran or seeds such as flax or chia, could potentiate improved cholesterol levels. Similarly, they gave me a lengthy and easily applied list of foods that variably contribute to gout flare risk.
Once the lab data was available, we reviewed this together with the dietary/nutritional information and additional personalized counseling was provided to integrate the findings into a livable, sustainable diet and lifestyle for improved health.
A follow-up was provided about 6 months from the initial visits to reinforce the discussions we had at the beginning. I found this to be very motivating!
I am very very happy to report that my cholesterol values and blood pressure improved dramatically after applying the suggestions that they provided....BEST of all - I haven't had a single gout flare since I started attending to the suggestions that they made.

It was a very thorough work-up and included blood work to make sure that what they would recommend matched my body chemistry.  I had never been on a diet and basically did not believe in them.  But a continued climb of my own weight suggested a change.  After look in magazines, books, talking with my health care provider who I adore, they basically all said the same thing:  Calories in equals calories on your waist (and other parts of my body).  I exercise already and thought that this should keep the weight at bay--it was not.  So I was looking for something different.  Something would match my personality and body chemistry.  Mixed Nuts offered the right balance for me.
Make no mistake, this is a commitment to undertake as it is NOT a diet in the traditional sense.  It is a new way of eating.  It is also not just counting points, but it is counting the point that your body is equipped to deal with.  And when I waivered, and I did waiver, Mixed nuts was available to tell me how to get through difficult times when I really really wanted chocolate cake.  The suggestion--how about mixing some good chocolate with walnuts and eating this.  It worked.  They would come to my house, help me understand where I was in the plan and encourage me to keep going.  I lost 15 - 18 pound between September and December, lowered my blood pressure, and my doctor just sent me a note saying that I am currently clear of any diabetes risk.  It is nice to fit a bit better in my clothes, but I have more peace of mind that my health is improving.

Challenges for me:  I love to eat and bake.  I travel a lot for my job.  I am a stress eater in a high stress job.  I meet with people over coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner for my job.  And I have never been on a diet.  I have always eaten whatever I wanted...and then I turned over 60...

I highly recommend this approach for a better health and physical profile.

They lie.  They say you can move without owning for a trainer.  I paid many months after a move simply because I didn't start working immediately after my move.
I cannot recommend this company in any manner.

$10/month with no contracts is much cheaper than the other gyms in town.  It doesn't have all of the equipment you may want, but it pretty much has everything you could need.  I can only speak for the lunch hour times and they were never busy.  Plenty of cardio equipment and machines.  They could have more free weights, but that would be my only complaint.

Big school with top instruction. New head instructor Mr. Benisch is excellent for both adults and children. Price is a little high but compares to other big schools in the area. You do get what you pay for with karate schools in town. I would recommend my friends to come here!

It's a really good gym. I'll recommend it to anybody. They're open 24 hours a day, which is nice for my schedule. The facility overall is good, and the customer service is good, as well. They hear your complaints and definitely take recommendations from you.

My wife went through a training program and became certified to become a yoga teacher. It has everything. Its large, it has a pool, it has two to three saunas its one of those mega places that offers everything. Their price is reasonable.
