Not knowing what this dog went through before I homed him I wanted to make sure we got some good training. I have worked with him for months and decided it was time to try him at CGC. My other dog and I are certified pet therapy team so I knew about this training already.
The trainer was extremely knowledgeable about the breeds and dog handling. They encourage positive training which this dog responds well to.

I have 2 small dogs that bark at the door when the bell is Provider name locked. , bark and lunge at dogs while walking on the leash and jump up on people when they're excited. I called Provider name locked. at BarkBusters after my Queen Provider name locked. Vet Clinic referred me to him.
Provider name locked. came out one week later and was absolutely brilliant in his assessment of what my two dogs (one is 7 yrs. old and the other is 11) required, but mainly on what behavior I needed to modify to get the results I was looking for in training these two little "older Provider name locked. ".
He came to my house for 3 hours and was able to make an instant improvement in the three of us. He instructed what I needed to do at home in my training before we left the house and went for a walk. He was right, they were responsive and all of the training required using the Provider name locked. of my voice and no touching or food.
As it turned out - you can teach an old dog a new trick -- I am living proof (49 yrs. old). Just after implementing his training two days later, they are as well. If you have a dog or dogs, no matter their age, I would highly recommend Provider name locked. 's services. I am completely satisfied that the money I spent was more than worth it.

I had a very aggressive German Provider name locked. as my first dog. A large part of the problem was that she started protecting me when she was 3 months old and I didn't know what to do. After spending hard earned money at several local and not so local "training" places, I learned nothing and my dog became older and even more assertive. It was great when at 5 months old she leaped out of the car window in front of me when a guy was coming over to fight over a parking space in Queens, but only because my sister caught hold of her as her jaws snapped shut (a few inches shy of the guy's arm). I had to literally scan the sidewalk ahead of me for anything that might potentially set her off. Drunk people coming my way, need not apply and I didn't worry about going down into the Van Wyck subway stop to meet my sister, but I couldn't be sure if the average person on the street near me would be safe. I had some initial help finally (when she was 5 years old), from an ex-Marine, and then I found Provider name locked. . I didn't put in a dollar amount for his services and the date is approximate (counting ~5 years old for Provider name locked. ) since I met him when he was the training director of a Schutzhund club. Provider name locked. spent the next few years with Provider name locked. and me, teaching me to understand my dog. Provider name locked. and I earned a Sch B together (a "real life" obedience title, with everything from other dogs, people biking, to walking inside a circle of people "milling around.") Heeling and recalls off leash and of course, a very long down stay (with me out of sight) under USA Judge Provider name locked. West. We passed! and Provider name locked. actually had some fun! Judge West's comment I remember most was that "it was clear" that my dog and I were truly friends. And we could be friends because we trained fairly, not compulsively. Everyone who was there applauded our accomplishment and I contribute our success to Provider name locked. ability to read my dog and to teach me.
My current German Provider name locked. has had Provider name locked. and rescue training, is a Certified Therapy Dog, and we have just started sheep herding. Although Provider name locked. does not certify therapy dogs or teach shepherding, I can still say with all honesty that the lessons I learned from him in other areas of training, still apply to whatever my new Provider name locked. adventure is. I remember lessons about "no tension on the leash," how to pick up nonverbal cues and to anticipate what might occur BEFORE it occurs so that I can change the behavior or let it happen, depending on the situation. And to praise your dog for all things good. These invaluable lessons are the key for a healthy and happy relationship with your dog.
Provider name locked. has remained my friend for more than 20 years and he is always there for advice or to just say hi. He has earned numerous high level awards in Schutzhund/IPO, and has trained and worked bomb detection dogs. He is able to train all levels of people and their dogs, from basic good manners to top level competition. Provider name locked. is trustworthy, fair and will give you his honest opinion. Provider name locked. gets an A+ in my book.
You can't go wrong at Provider name locked. !- Mary K.
