Auto Body Repair reviews in Madison

Stopped for an estimate, they asked if I had time to wait and buffed it out on the spot. And didn't charge me! I'm sure there are usually charges but it seemed like a remarkably efficient and professional business. I already recommended it to a friend today with a dent in her car.

After trying many different tactics and a large trailer hitch installation company to repair a badly rusted trailer hitch, I emailed Apex because of its reviews. All other efforts by me and the trailer installation company had failed. Apex responded immediately and worked us into their work schedule the next day and repaired the stuck hitch in the same day.

Not well - we had some minor damage from an accident on the rear panel of the car and took the car to Zimbrick for an estimate at the request of the insurance company. Their estimate was $2200 to repair and 2-3 weeks for the repair, It seemed completely out of line so I took it to a local auto body shop and got the work done for $895.00 and it took 2.5 days.

Sparkle did an excellent job. They kept me informed of the progress of the repair. The finished product was excellent. They do quality work and relative to some other body shops, their charges are reasonable.

We found the thousands of dollars of damage to our late-model car to be traumatic, but Bill Alexander of A-One Autoworks made it all better: • working with the adjuster • working with our schedule • working to a reasonable estimate • providing us with a like-new car We recommend A-One Autoworks without reservation.

I listened for hours as estimator Gene went on and on about how good he and his shop were, how theres not "many of us old school guys" around anymore. Even went on about his blues was painful. We made an appointment for the next Monday & dropped it off early so his specialist could get at it. We let them keep it overnight and was stunned when we showed up the next morning and nothing was done. Gene stated "my specialist says there was nothing he could do....". I asked why he didn't call and he mumbled something about having a 'doctors appointment ' and told us "live with it". We had to get our refund from the owner Mike, who grumbled and complained. Dont trust these careful!

I had my rear quarter panel replaced and painted with an additional pinstriping done that was painted on. The work they did was excellent I thought the price was real good! I did have a problem with one of the Owner staff but overall it was good experience.

They are horrible. One time I took my car there and the side mirror had been broken so it took a day to replace it. I got it back and they had put in a manual setting for the mirror instead of an electrical one. There was a long line inside my car that they inspected me to turn. I did not feel too good about that. Another time I had a door jammed that would not work. I took it there and they said it would be $250 to get the lock to work or whatever. I took it to a repair shop and he just did it for free. He said it just needed an adjustment. I personally have not had any luck with them. They were nice and talked to me right away. They have a nice office and a secretary. Them putting the long line in and letting me drive away was not professional.

We have a Hyundai Sonata [2013] and the left side of the bumper got pulled away from its supports - the plastic hinges or fastener attachment broke.  An auto body shop  estimated $1,250 to replace and paint a new bumper.  I was referred to Integrity Touchup because they work on plastic bumpers and they do some kind of molding or whatever to reattach it on to new hinges - don't know exactly what, but to me it was "magic" because the finished product looks like new.  I didn't know broken plastic attachments can be fixed, specifically on a car bumper that is subject to bumps, wind, and everything else a bumper is exposed to.  It is securely fastened showing no signs of work.  Seams fit fine, just like new.  Far less cost than replacing.   I highly recommend him.  It is my understanding that his specialty is bumpers and small paint repairs.

I damaged the finish on my brand new (less than 300 miles) car by brushing against my garage door opening as I was backing out.  It left a very large semi-circular "scar" about 2 inches wide and 2+ feet long above the right rear tire.  It's a black car and the paint transferred was white, so the contrast couldn't have been more dramatic.  It looked terrible.  It was obviously more than I could repair and would require more than detailing to correct.
It appeared to me that some body work would be needed.  I knew an individual whose car had undergone extensive repairs after a very serious collision and had obtained very good results.  Sparkle had done the work on that car, so I sought them out for my  current situation.  I drove in to get an estimate and to set up an appointment for the work to be done.  I was happily surprised to hear that Sparkle did not believe that body work would be needed and that the damage could be mitigated by buffing the despoiled area.  Everyone was polite, courteous, and exhibited a professional attitude.
They gave me an estimate of the amount of their time it would take for the repairs and indicated that they could complete the work right then, within the hour!  No future appointment necessary.  I accepted the estimate and took my seat in the waiting room.  They completed the job in less time than estimated and revised the repair bill accordingly. Afterwards, I inspected my car and I could not  see even a trace of the damage that had been so remarkable just minutes before. (I literally drove out within 45 minutes of my initial contact.)
I would like to pause here to indicate to all readers of this review that in my opinion, the damage to my car was not "a little scratch" or a "minor abrasion".  No, this was a very large, horrendous scar on a brand-new vehicle.  Sparkle's work restored my vehicle's store room luster and the very subjective "new car"  experience for me.
I understand that the current Sparkle ownership has been in this or related business for quite some time.  It is my hope that Sparkle will remain a fixture in auto body repair  for the foreseeable future.
