    Noel, Dr. R. Thomas
Dr. Noel's office is run very efficiently and his staff is polite and kind. He is never too busy to see you in the office and he, or his nurse, always responds to questions by phone or email. I had no complications and my outcome could not have been better. I feel very lucky to have been referred to Dr. Noel for my care and would unreservedly recommend Dr. Noel to any woman facing a similar experience.

    Jennings, Dr. James T.
Said I had the flu and maybe pneumonia and to go home and if breathing became more difficult to go to Emergency. I DID go to urgency but he was not available when the ER called him and he had left no orders about me in my medical file. The condition was a severely leaking heart valve with blood in lungs that required hospitalization and subsequent open heart surgery for another heart valve replacement. Dr Jennings was aware of my former heart valve replacement.

    Jackson, Dr. Brooks M.
Staff is friendly as a a rock, rude and all about how you are going to pay. Dr Jackson does not explain much and if you corner him he speaks in abbreviated sentences. Poor communications, when I get an appointment, I feel like I am at at meat market or an assembly line. No compassion at all, all about payment and what your insurance will pay. I have talked to other patients about how they where instructed and taken care of and they said the same. It is almost like treatment is scripted. Same MRI, biopsy and then we will talk. Did test without my or insurance approval..... etc.

    Louisville Gastroentrlgy Assocs
I had to schedule my appointment 5 weeks in advance. The day before my appointment they called me to tell me the doctor wasn't going to be in the office, asked if I could come in that day instead. I rearranged my day's meetings to be able to accommodate their schedule change. My appointment was for 3:30pm. I arrived at 3:04pm. The doctor didn't see me until 5:04pm. He spent less than 10 minutes in the room. I don't feel like he addressed any of my concerns or answered any of my questions. He just wants to do an endoscopy and colonoscopy. Didn't say what he was looking for or what happens next if he does or doesn't find what he's looking for. Did not offer any indication as to what I might expect in the course of treatment other than allowing him to run expensive tests that probably won't turn up anything. I've never had a doctor's office make me feel more like a sausage on an assembly line. It's a long wait to see an Gastro doctor in town right now, but I'm going to schedule with a different one and wait.

    Mauser, Dr. Alan K.
They took 2 x-rays. The doctor looked at them, at the pictures I had of past similar problems, and of course my toes. He did no touching, just looking, and said he was stumped. My guess is the pain is nerve-related and he is more focused on bones and muscle, etc.

The bone is rubbing bone in my knees. I see Dr. Shay here. He is excellent, and knows his stuff. He was recommended by a friend of mine. They were able to recommend me to another specialist for a pair of Orthopedic Shoes. He also recommended some braces for me to use. He sent the order in to the Kosair Charities Center for me.

When I got the first pair, they were too stiff. I was not able to wear them. The shoes are brand new, and I am going to donate them to someone else in need. I am going to be going back the 27th of March to get a lower cut pair of shoes (Orthopedic) with braces in them. They are going to measure me up for them, and will have to wait for them to make them. I normally see Brandy when I go here, and I am very thankful for them!

I am having trouble holding my bladder due to age. I am due to go back the 20th of June. They do the best they can under the circumstances. I have to watch how much liquid I consume, but I also have to drink a lot of water with the medication I take. They test my urine here, and then send the results back to my family doctor.

    Abbas, Dr. Gregory M
Dr. Abbas was very professional and thorough. He wanted to see the actual CT scan results (versus the write up) in order to provide a more thorough diagnosis. We drove to the MRI center, obtained the disk, and Dr. Abbas met with us again (same day) after only a brief wait while he read the scan. He is interested in getting to the root of my husband's problem, and he patiently answered all of our questions. My husband plans to use him as his ENT in the future.

Tipton & Unroe Foot & Ankle
Dr Klutts did not address the ongoing issues of my left foot.  I just recently returned to KY from CA where I had an outstanding podiatrist who I saw each month for 16 months there.  This was my 3rd visit to Tipton & Unroe (Dr Klutts) and do think he understood my problem the first 2 visits; however, this past visit last week did not relieve the pain as they have done in the past.  I am now searching for a new podiatrist in Louisville.
