  • Summary: Dr. Rachel supposed to perform an Operation called “Tongue Tied” Frenectomy operation. But she didn’t reviewed her notes and proceeded to drilled on the wrong part inside my mouth using a Laser. Being worked on by Dr. Rachell is like going for an Appendectomy operation but ended up getting my Gall Bladder removed! Detail: Before the actual “Tongue tied” surgery, I was in Davis Dental for an Oral checkup. Dr. Rachel examined my mouth and found out that I had a Tongue Tie. She noted that my tongue cannot fully stick out because of a tissue under my tongue is very tight. She suggested to cut that tissue under my tongue so that my tongue can freely and normally stick out. I said OK let’s do it as long as my insurance covers it. Then after a couple of weeks I got a call from Davis Dental Clinic for a Tongue Tied operation. I showed up, but then later discovered that I was overbooked and I don’t have clear time when they will see me. I went home disappointed and I wasted 1 day of work. They asked for another schedule, which I hesitantly agreed. Then on July 20th 2018, I finally walked into their Office very excited. Then Dr Rachel and her assistant started numbing my gums. She then asked me vague questions where she would work on my mouth. She pointed on my Tongue I said “go for it”, having the understanding she knows what to do. Then Dr. Rachel proceeded to start with “Tongue Tied” operation using their high tech Laser gadget and drilled on my gums. Because of the numbing medicine, I don’t have any sense where she was working inside my mouth. I totally trusted her with her job and expertise to do the right thing. I was her patient for more than 5 years prior to this operation. I never had any operation with her but only basic tooth cleaning and tooth filling which was done by her staff. When I got home, the numbing medicine began to worn out, and my gums was very painful. I then noticed that she drilled on my gums instead of cutting that tissue under my tongue. I complained to my wife about this and she called Dr. Rachel the next morning. Dr. Rachel blamed me for not telling her where the correct spot was and made me look foolish to my wife. She made my wife uncomfortable by putting the blame on me. I wonder how can this be a miss, when she was the one who suggested this in the first place? She admittedly said that she went to the operation without her notes! Because of your carelessness, Dr. Rachel I have to undergo unnecessary pain and disappointment. Me and my family were supporting your business for more than as early as 2012 and yet you didn’t treat me well and with respect after you botched the operation where you yourself suggested that I undergo. After all of this, I cannot believe what I saw in the mail from Dr. Rachel. She basically said in the letter that she wouldn’t want to deal with us if we come to her Clinic. I done nothing wrong to Dr. Rachel to be treated this way. All I did was to show up for my appointment.

  • Said I had the flu and maybe pneumonia and to go home and if breathing became more difficult to go to Emergency. I DID go to urgency but he was not available when the ER called him and he had left no orders about me in my medical file. The condition was a severely leaking heart valve with blood in lungs that required hospitalization and subsequent open heart surgery for another heart valve replacement. Dr Jennings was aware of my former heart valve replacement.

  • I met with Dr. Smith and found him very knowledgeable and kind. He examined me and suggested what needs to be done. All without charge. I scheduled an appt for work to be done and also a cleaning in a few months. The office staff are also very nice.

  • This move went extremely well. Leondre' Clark, (Owner/Operator), along with his team, Dontay and Adnan took great care with fragile items. They were professional, courteous and efficient. I would not hesitate to use this service again. Attention to detail and exceptional customer service goes a long way; I highly recommend!

  • I don't have anything but good to say about Davis Dental Center. I am a new patient there. I had my third visit today. I had my implant done by Dr. An. She is terrific as is her assistant. She also did my upper veneers. I have never felt so at ease in a Dentist chair. The procedure took a while, but they were so upbeat and personable. I have a temporary crown over the implant, but my smile looks wonderful. Thank you so much Dr. An and Davis Dental for treating me so well. I am a lifelong member of the Dr. An Fan Club. She is a treasure!!!!

  • Very nice people. It went pretty good however it was a little too intense for my price range especially being that my insurance didn’t cover chiropractic care and decompressions I believe and some other things so it was too expensive for us. I believe we paid between $3000 and $5000 for about three or four weeks worth of services.

  • I had a refraction but my main concern was whether I had cataract and that concern was basically ignored. I made an appointment to see an ophthalmologist but I had to see an optometrist instead and she was young, new, and lack any sort of beside manner. I am sure she will learn but she was far too negative.

  • My crown chipped shortly after placement & prior to that the crown was rough to my tongue after they ground on the porcelain to adjust my bite, that was way off. Cement was left in between my teeth after they seated my crown & it caused pain for quite some time. The staff was not honest with me about my insurance coverage & as a result I paid more for my service than I would have, had they fully disclosed what my insurance company informed them about my coverage. The office is dated & extremely cramped. Parking was scarce because of the office location & required a meter payment so I had to keep putting $ in meter during my dental treatment. There are so many better places to go for high quality dental care.

  • I was also criticized because I did not like that his dog came up to me while I was being treated and I asked for him to be removed. This man is very unprofessional and is an embarrassment to the dental profession. I used my last dentist for 30 years and felt very comfortable asking questions and speaking up. Dr. Kirk will not tolerate any questioning of his expertise without claiming that you are negative and not a good fit for his practice.

  • I had terrible eyesight and my case was not an easy one. Everything was analyzed, planned and explained in detail. Dr. Smith was friendly, responsive and s great communicator. His staff was excellent as well. The surgeries went exactly as planned and the results were outstanding. You seldom, if ever, see this level of service and communication in a physician practice
