  • WARNING! BEWARE! This contractor does NOT guarantee their work (despite what it says on their Angie's List page.). He installed a concrete sidewalk and 2 years later it was crumbling. When contacted he stated, "I cannot guarantee any OUTDOOR concrete work." He admitted that it rained the day he installed it and that's why it was now crumbling. Despite several attempts by me to resolve the issue amicably, the contractor gave many excuses why this happened but refused to do anything to rectify the situation or do a repair. He offered no refund and suggested we get another contractor to try and fix his work.

  • They came out and looked at it, gave us a price. We paid the deposit, but after several weeks of not hearing from them, we called them. They gave us a future date of about 6 weeks, so we waited. Fine. When they came out to do the repair, they injected about 4 dime-size holes with the foam material. It did lift the concrete, but he said he could not lift it any higher. We are left with a gap still of almost an inch. And now we have ponding water in another section of the walkway. If they were not able to completely fix the problem, they should have told us up front if we would have to replace the concrete rather than the foam injection. Now, we are out $1300, and still have a gap and ponding water. Also, the technician never gave us a receipt, even though we asked twice for one to be sent. It has been several weeks since we first notified them of our complaint, and they have still not come out to fix it like they promised. Hopefully they will follow through. The man we dealt with over the phone seemed very nice, but we want the project completed correctly.

  • I called United Dynamics for an estimate on stabilization of my front porch. Jeff showed up, took measurements and assessed the level of the porch to tell me it didn't necessarily need a stabilization, just a mason to patch and repair the concrete. Although his company did not perform any work, it relieved me to know he gave an honest answer that didn't benefit him monetarily. I would not hesitate to contact him again if I have any other issues with my foundation.

  • Jeff Lockhart the owner took the time to come out to my home and assess the situation. Given the "settling" was not pronounced he recommended that I simply re-caulk the area and take a wait and see approach before pursuing any costly repairs. I very much appreciated that he was so honest and informed about the variables involved with my problem and was not quick to suggest a costly repair if none was needed. That was refreshing in this day and age. He also stressed how much a role nearby tree roots can play in affecting the slab under the room. I wound up removing the tree based on that observation. He also mentioned that jacking up the foundation in a bathroom particularly comes with its own set of problems given the proximity to the plumbing. Another aspect I had not considered. All in all - a very valuable free estimate!

  • Everything was completed in one day.    They went the extra mile to remove the existing shrubbery without extra charge.    All cracks in the brickwork of the house were repaired and none have returned after two years.
Their price was below two others and they added in the removal of the shrubs, which the other firms wanted me to do prior to starting the job.

  • They were so great! Called me back right away, answered my questions. Then when he came out to look at the sidewalk was very honest about what was going on and he didn't think they could help us. Tree roots and it was one of those things where there isn't anything they could do. Also checked other concrete even though I didn't ask them too and left me instructions on what to do with those. I wasn't home and he left a detailed written report estimate on the door for me. Also his number if I had any questions. Really great service, and I have recommended them just based on their honesty.

  • The crew came out and did an excellent job.  Shrubs needed to be taken out to get access and they had to dig down a considerable distance.  They were awesome, everything was done exactly as stated and I was kept abreast to their progress by the team lead.  They put all shrubs back, swept back all dirt and mulch (they had put sheets down to not ruin the grass) and pressure sprayed sidewalks and porches along with part of the drive.  I will use Buddy and his crew any time I have trouble with any of my rental homes or if I have trouble again.

  • These guys were most professional. When I asked how long they would be here, they said " until your satisfied with the work ".
They used precautions ( laid down plastic sheeting ) to keep the slab jacking material from getting on my driveway.
They were able to raise the floor back to its original level. There was one corner that didn't want to rise up. They worked for
several hrs. to get the that corner to release from the foundation and rise. They discussed with me each option they were
going to try to get that one stubborn corner to come up. They were able to get it to come within 1/4 inch of original level and this
was just fine with me as this small section was in a corner and where my workbench was going back into. So, I was very happy with their work.  They did a great job of cleaning up. Even pressure washed the garage floor and driveway.
Would use this company again if I had any foundation / slab / basement problems in the future.

  • They  did phenomenal!  My house was sinking in the back. And they installed 11 peers and they jacked up the back of the house.  They installed a draining field and put in a pump. I checked with other people and he was right on the money!

  • My driveway and sidewalk were out of alignment in various places from as little 1/2 inch to nearly two inches. The A1 rep who came to give me an estimate explained that they would drill holes to "inject" the concrete which would, in turn, raise the lowered portion to evenly match the rest of the slabs. I noticed an immediate difference the day I drove into my driveway and actually had to get used to walking normally on my sidewalk again, things had been so bad. I was just as happy with the patch job they did on my garage foundation which actually had chunks of concrete missing from the corners. The crew did overlook caulking the breaks where my step meets the porch but one call to A1 resulted in them coming back out within the next two days to take care of the problem. The overall price was $300 less than someone who wanted to tear out the entire slab and I was especially impressed with the A1 rep's recommendation that I completely tear out a back porch rather than going with a patch job which he said would not hold up over time.
