  • He just checked it for gas leaks, just sprayed something with a spray can, he didn't clean anything or bring a vacuum in or anything, Asked him to check remote control, said it was beyond repair and to get a new one. Called another company, Grate Balls AFire, and they had the remote fixed and they asked if it had been serviced. They said it's filthy, and they cleaned it. Grate Balls AFire said that New Service Mechanical is not even licensed to deal with gas log fireplaces.

  • I really appreciated the time and effort Provider name locked. , Provider name locked. , and the whole staff at Provider name locked. took to service my repair.  They were patient in answering my questions, explained the work to be done and gave me the time-line for completing the work.  They called before arrival and explained the work to be completed.
I have to say they even went above and beyond when my daughter locked herself out of the house without shoes, keys or her phone.  Patiently they borrowed her one of their cell phones taking my calls as we arranged a way for her back into the house.
I would most definitely use these guys again!

  • Provider communicated quickly and arrived promptly at the agreed upon appointment time.  All positives ended there unfortunately.  Once onsite, they wouldn't honor the services purchased without doing expensive repair work.  Depending on who you talked with, the story changed on what needed to be done, the only consistent statement was that they wouldn't perform the chimney sweep. Ultimately they couldn't get their story straight on what the actual issue was and essentially issued a refund due to the fine print stating that it wasn't covered as there was an buckstove insert being used.  The reality is they were totally fine using scare tactics and referencing industry code, which is relatively new, to backup their claims. When I asked about previous sweeps done by other companies, I got a short answer as to how they were under qualified and couldn't pass the requirements of the chimney code.  Again, this was just a Provider name locked. chimney sweep purchase and they noted heavy cresole buildup (which we knew about) but refused to do the service.  You'd think they'd at least make the situation better if they were that concerned.  To compound the situation, I wasn't home and the wife was and they used scare tactics about how the cracks in the mortar will lead to a house fire and that there should never be a fire burnt as a result.  She relayed the message to me and then I spoke with the person onsite and he couldn't answer the questions and kept referring me to the office/owner.  Of course the office/owner couldn't substantiate any claims as they weren't onsite.  It was a run around experience with the only goal to approve expensive unnecessary repairs vs. simply doing the job that they were brought out to do.  It was so mind boggling that at the end, the person onsite literally pleaded with us not to leave negative feedback.  My response to that is you were so concerned and had such Provider name locked. code that you couldn't in good conscious (their words) do the work hired, then you shouldn't be concerned about a negative review.  I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone and I wish I had reviewed all the reviews thoroughly before purchasing.  If you own an older home, you would be wise not to use this company as your home was most likely built before the industry code standards that this company uses and won't perform services until that standard is achieved.  If you're a newer home, I'd be concerned as well as they might "find" some issues that require immediate attention.  This is a stay away from company.
