Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • I had the MRI either that day or the next day in the hospital.  After getting the results, Dr. Provider name locked. visited me in my room again to tell me the good news that the larger cyst was not a tumor.  However, he felt that it would be best to follow it by getting an MRI annually.  So I've done it several times since then, as an outpatient, at the imaging center at Provider name locked. -Sinai.  I go to see Dr. Provider name locked. in his office first, to talk to him briefly, and so he can fill out the order slip for me to give to the imaging center.  I like Dr. Provider name locked. a lot.  I don't see him frequently or for extended visits, but he has a reasurring personality and treats me like an intelligent adult.  I can't get the contrast injection that gives a better image for the MRIs, because of my kidney failure -- the chemical in the contrast would make my muscles cramp up very badly.  At my last appointment, Dr. Provider name locked. explained to me that if I could get the contrast, he would be able to see whether or not the larger cyst was something that had to be followed every year, or not.  But since I can't get the contrast, we use the best imaging that we have available, following it every year.  Regarding the wait in the waiting room, it was pretty long last time, about an hour, but as compensation, there is a container of mini chocolate bars on the nurses' desk.  ;-)

  • Dr. Provider name locked. was honest and said there was a likelihood I would Provider name locked. a kidney tho he would do everything to save as much as he could.  He was cautious and ordered multiple scans.  I felt like he took my case as if he had no other patients.  He moved swiftly to get me to surgery and in fact, was able to save most of my kidney.  He is a skilled surgeon and has an excellent beside manner.  I have had several pre- and post- follow up exams and expect him to be my doctor for life due to my condition.
The office itself is quite busy, sometimes it bursts at the seems with patients.  Patience is recommended.

  • I was very satisfied with the whole course of treatment. He found the stone on the xray and gave it a Provider name locked. to pass. When he realized that it was too big to pass and scheduled me for surgery and broke the stone apart. After the pieces passed out during urination, I was fine again. He is very knowledgeable and I would recommend him to anyone.
