"They fixed the transmission leak. I had to leave the car over night since they did not have the Linkage seals in the shop. I think they did a good job. They drove" me home that night and they even brought my car to me so I did not have to go and pick it up in the heat. I thought was very good service. I was little surprised that I did not get a written estimate in the beginning, but I understand why. They had to find the problem first before they could give me an estimate. They did give me an estimate over the phone once they found the problems. I thought they were very honest and I would absolutely go back to them.

"The dealer wanted $3, 400.00 for the repairs. charged $1,800.00. The dealer work had a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty. Sunset's warranty" is 1 year/12,000 miles. When I asked about it, offered a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty for an additional $500. Comparing apples to apples, that makes him 33% cheaper ($1,100.00) than the dealer for the same repair. didn't recommend spending the extra $500 for additional warranty time and I didn't. The repairs too three days; the dealer wanted 8-10 days. After the repairs were completed, asked me to bring the car back in a week or ten days for a quality check and at that time he was unhappy with something he heard (I didn't hear a thing) and made additional repairs/adjustments at no cost. is the owner; it is nice to deal with the owner. I highly recommend .

  • I had multiple leaks/hemorrhages in my transmission. My auto mechanic didn't know from where and thought it might need a complete transmission overhaul ($900 minimum). Instead of doing that, I went to Provider name locked. where Provider name locked. said it most likely just needed to be resealed. He quoted me $475. I didn't go anywhere else so I don't know if this is expensive or not. Since they seemed really nice and trust worthy, I just let them do the work. It was ready in two days. The Provider name locked. seem to have stopped, and it was only about $25 more than they quoted me. The topper: when I dropped the car off, I was given tomatoes from "the garden", and when I picked it up, I sat in the office and enjoyed watermelon from "the garden" while I settled my bill. Bottom line: these guys are really nice, trustworthy (I think), and quick (I think).
