Pediatric Care reviews in Los Angeles

The doctors are fantastic but we did have an issue with 1 nurse and she's not allowed to see our son anymore. Our son cries when she comes into the room. We have been pretty happy with them. Appointment availability is good.

Their doctors are great. They are very responsive and as far as appointment times, I never really have to wait. So we just feel very comfortable with them. I would recommend them because of their quality of care.

My family loves Westside Pediatrics so much. The office is beautiful and immaculately clean. They don't have toys strewn about the lobby for kids to play with and pass germs around. There are two waiting rooms - one for sick kids and one for well kids. You'll only wait for as long as it takes you to and quot;sign inand quot; and sit down in their aesthetically pleasing lobby, typically less than one minute. They know you're coming so as soon as you arrive the receptionist welcomes you and the nurse comes to get you.
Dr. Klein is amazing. She is kind, gentle, and wise. She doesn't treat you like you are an idiot - she respects us as parents and talks to us like we understand everything (sometimes so much so that we have to ask her to dumb it down a bit). Our appointments are a full hour long so there is time for the normal check-up stuff, our questions, and discussions regarding development (what to expect, what new games/toys to try, etc.).
I have never had such an amazing doctor office experience as I have with Westside Pediatrics. They don't take insurance but their prices are so reasonable and the service so amazing, it really just doesn't matter. We love this place and are so grateful to our friend that referred us back in August, right before my sweet daughter was born.

I was referred to Glendale Pediatrics from my OB/GYN and I couldn't be happier. All the doctors I have met have had great bedside manner. I never feel like I'm being rushed during my appointments and with this being our first child it makes a big difference. The office is always clean. There is a separate entrance for sick appointments. The staff are extremely friendly and efficient.

We called in for an appointment on Thursday, 12/5, and were able to get a time in for Monday, 12/9.

As soon as we arrived, the office already had our paperwork ready and the wait time in the office was less than 5 minutes. Dr. Walker asked a lot of questions to check and see if our son was meeting his milestones (weight, height, behavioral, etc). She also explained why she was asking each question and was very patient in answering any questions that we had regarding our son's growth/health (as first time parents, this was very much appreciated).

This was actually our third visit with Dr. Walker as our previous visit in early November was due to our son's 103 degree fever. We called in that morning and they were able to fit us in for an immediate appointment. Once again, Dr. Walker took her time to exam our son and explain why our son was showing certain symptoms. She also asked us to call her back the following day, even if he was feeling better, so that she can know how our son was doing with his illness. This definitely showed a lot of concern and care that Dr. Walker has for her patients.

Overall, we would definitely recommend Dr. Walker if you're in search for a pediatrician!

We just moved to the area and needed to find a new pediatrician for our 15-month son. I visited the office on 10/8/13 to evaluate the cleanliness of the office as well as check to see if they were accepting new patients. The receptionist had me fill out a 1-page form (name of child, birthday, contact info, etc) and told me that Dr. Powell was not accepting new patients but she would check with Dr. Schlundt and Dr. Gokey and call us back. I called the office back the following afternoon and was told that there was a delay in getting back to me because I didn't answer 1 question on the form (Has my child received all his vaccinations?). I informed them that he did and asked to get an answer from them soon so that we can schedule his first appt/physical as I needed to designate a doctor for our son's daycare. Once again, the receptionist told met that she would check with the doctors and call us back.
As of today (10/17/13), we still have NOT received a call back from the office. How could it take 9+ days just to get an answer on whether or not they were accepting new patients?!?!? If it takes this long to get a response on such a simple question, I'm left wondering how long will their response time be for something more important.
The only positive thing about I can say about Rose City Pediatrics was that their office was clean and that they had 2 entrances and waiting areas for sick and well child visits. Otherwise, the lack of response from them shows a lack of respect for patients (especially for someone who took the time to actually visit the office to get information).

I brought my 2 year old for his physical exam, & he had the best doctor visit ever. He never lets doctors touch him, but Dr. Finerman is amazing with kids--he actually had fun! And I have never had a pediatrician that gave me so much helpful information, & did not make me feel rushed. I already told 3 of my friends to switch to her, & she's a preferred provider for our Motion Picture insurance.

We had a baby and Dr. Asnani is our pediatrician. She came to the hospital Friday, Saturday and Sunday to check on the baby and discharge her so we could go home. The doctor is gentle, thorough, and asks us a lot of questions as well as answering ours. We are thrilled to have such great care.

We have since been to the doctors office for regular wellness visits and continue to receive excellent care. Appointments are easy to get and we never have to wait upon arrival.

Note - there are additional reviews for Dr Asnani under her last name: Asnani, Monica.

I took my child to Dr Benjamin Behroozan a few weeks ago, probably in the end of January. He is a good doctor, professional. I did not like the service part, where when the people go with their appointments or we can just walk in, we get to wait for long time, maybe about one whole day, have to wait even if we have the appointment.

Dr. Eric Saslow is the smartest in his field. He is expensive but he's worth it. He takes a long time with each patient, he takes a long time because he's very thorough. He's just so finely tuned into diagnosis and medication. He's very knowledgeable and serious. He does very follow-up to make sure that his patients are responding well.
