    Footsage.com
After a long day from traffic I needed to relax and wanted a massage but didn't want to go back outside. I decided to look into Angie's List and found Footsage! I'm so happy with the decision I made to choose them. Excellent customer service, prompt and the massage was awesome. I will definitely be back!. Thank you for the experience Footsage!

    Chris Kinkade, Massage Therapist
My session began with a warm greeting by Chris. His professionalism and knowledge came through when describing the type of healing session he was going to perform for me.
My session with him was one of the best experiences I have had in healing & massage work. I am very experienced with receiving massage and healing work, yet working with Chris is one I will most notably call in for again and again. It was a 2+-hour session that seemed to fly by. He took gentle care to place warm pads all along my back, after performing deep tissue work on my neck & back that aided in me not experiencing soreness from that type of therapeutic work. His knowledge and intuition allowed for him to locate and work on areas of my body that needed the most attention.
I am happy to refer him to friends and family who are in need of a healing massage experience with a very talented healer/therapist.

    Rothschild, Dr. Carl M.
The environment is a medical office.  I was expecting more of an Eastern vibe (I guess that is my prejudice).  There a bit of a wait and I had to fill out a patient questionnaire form prior to my massage (a first for me).  It was clean and serene once I got into a private room and the massage was firm and effective.  I was pleased with the masseuse and I left feeling as though all my kinks had been worked free.  I definitely would return.

    Rothschild, Dr. Carl M.
He was warm, professional and to the point.  He wasgot similar ren't trying to make things up or sell a service. He gave feedback and you decide what you want to do.  It is your choice.  The bonus of the visit was the young Black woman who gave the therapeutic massages.  I was pretty sore when I left but my back and shoulders (way too much bending over computers) were so open and stretched out.  She is worth seeing and the price is reasonable.  I've had physical therapy and would say I got equal results from her.

Health Advantage Health & Wellness Center
This is a boutique wellness center that includes acupuncture/cupping, chiropractors, massage therapists and people who address foot health (inserts).  There is a big influence of East meets West here with many of the clinicians from Asia practicing Chinese medicine.  It's very friendly and very easy going.  There is a receptionist there, Johnny, who is outstanding with communication and I got a same day appointment very easily.  Most all appointments for chiropractic adjustments begin with automated back massages; some adjustments also include 10 minutes of a Chinese massage.
My doctor is Miwa Yoshida who does my neck and back adjustments.  She is very friendly and effective, and she treats me and even did a very safe, tiny adjustment on my 1 year old son.

    TOUCH MASSAGE
I have consistently had great experience at Touch, who have great massueses.  I typically get a deep tissue massage, and each massuese I've had has always been sensitive to ensure that the pressure is not too intense.  The environment is great and the staff is friendly.

    Massage Therapy Center
This is really an amazing place for a massage.
The steam rooms have a very relaxing scent and you can stay in as long as you want. They have showers stocked with shampoo, conditioner and soap so you are set after the massage.
I highly recommend going a bit early before the appointment and spending at least 15-30 minutes in the steam room. It will definitely help you relax a great deal before getting the massage.
As for the massage, it was amazing. Pricey but amazing. The therapist was ready for me and definitely knew what she was doing. I tend to get a massage every 3 months. When I can splurge on myself, I tend to come here for the afternoon.
Really clean, very attentive and always able to fit me in, even as a walk in (if I am willing to wait a bit).
It is very pricey so just be prepared (around $100) so I try and see a deal (off of Google offers) or just bite it and enjoy the afternoon

    Massage In LA
From the start the experience was amazing. They greeted me at the door and talked to me to find out what I like. Then they did exactly what i was looking for in massage. They checked me with to make sure that my experience was right and it was perfect. They really know how to give good massages here.

    Tranquility Body Spa
Thisha and Jasmine are new owners. Have been worked on by Thisha before at another spa. They've spruced up the spa to make it very inviting and soothing. Thisha walks on back, applies accupressure, Thai yoga stretching and finishes with wonderful Swedish. She always asks if pressure is appropriate and will make adjustments. She was trained at a temple in Thailand.

    Rothschild, Dr. Carl M.
My experience with Dr. Rothschild and his staff was positive. I was able to secure an appointment in a timely manner and upon arrival, was greeted warmly and professionally. At my first meeting, I spoke with Dr. Rothschild who spoke knowledgeably about my back/spine condition based on self-reported data. He shared with me information about his treatments and encouraged me to read/view more on line (which I did).
My second visit to the office was, again, a welcoming experience.  This time, I received a massage by Karen (I admit though that I get her name confused with Kelly's-- who also works there-- so it could have been Kelly). In any case, the massage was very good and addressed my identified needs.  Karen regularly asked for feedback and responded to my expressed needs.
I met with Dr. Rothschild after the massage and we discussed possible treatment options.  Because I was leaving town the following week, we agreed that it might be wise to wait to begin treatment until I returned.
At this time, I do not know when  I will return.  I believe that it will be essential for me to have several weeks of treatment requiring from me a time commitment that I cannot presently make.
