Hospital Care reviews in Los Angeles

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • They were very professional.  They answered every question I had.  The service there especially when I had the surgery, it was excellent.  They got some paperwork done.  It was clear.  It was a very common environment.  Pre-op was explained very well and post-op was explained very well.  The nurse and all the staff seemed very supportive and helpful.

  • The nurses were very good. A supervisor felt it was necessary to chew out an employee outside my room for a half hour, I thought that was a little unprofessional. The actually care I received in the hospital was quite good.

  • I was taken to Provider name locked. Hospital Emergency Room against my will for assessment. Dr Aminatu Sheau (or Dr Shehu) was the doctor on duty at the time. Once I entered Provider name locked. Emergency Room the staff and Dr Aminatu Sheau (Shehu) treated me like I was a convicted felon of some sort. I found myself with extreme dry mouth and not feeling well. From the first second I entered Provider name locked. Hospital to the last I constantly was begging for a glass of water. All I wanted was a glass of water in that horrible little hospital and they never gave me a glass of water. Dr Aminatu Sheau (Shehu) just wanted to get her work done with me and flat out told me she could not release me till my blood pressure went down. I myself am a Radiation Therapist for 20 years and snapped back her telling her "she should not be taking my blood pressure when I am being restrained." The cuffs were removed, she took my blood pressure again a minute later and it had dropped to actual low blood pressure. Why should I be the one having to tell the Dr. how to do her exams correctly. She needs a good administrative talk to and maybe a meeting with the Health Advisory Board.
