  • Provider name locked. is the best.  First off, she's really passionate about what she does.  My wife and I are both small business owners, and we know how hard it is to run a small business, so we always like to work with other business owners who put in a lot of sweat to make their business run, but don't forget that relationships are what great small businesses are built on.  Provider name locked. gets that.  She's friendly, smart, and comes ready to solve your problem no matter what.  She's also sensitive to your budget.  We're in the middle of a renovation of a 1924 Craftsman in Leimert Park, which is to say we have a very long project list, and we don't have unlimited resources.  Because of how many projects we have going on at once, we're very budget conscious.  When Provider name locked. came out to look at the situation she understood right away.  She offered a lot of tips on where I could save money, and what was the best place to spend to get our money's worth.  She worked out a budget that had a best-case scenario (savings-wise) and a couple alternatives, to prepare me in case the install was tricky, so I wouldn't be caught off guard.
The work went really well.  Provider name locked. was on the job-site a lot to make sure everything was done to her standards, (she's a perfectionist, like me, so I appreciate the careful eye.) Her associate, Provider name locked. , did a lot of the labor.  He was also great, worked really hard, told me every step of the way what was happening, and made sure I could look over the work to OK it.  He ended up getting the new pipe through our porch and foundation, which saved us a lot, and solved a number of problems along the way as they discovered quirks to how the old line had been run and tied into the city water.
Provider name locked. made sure everything was done correctly, and quickly, and in the end we came in at the original best-case quote she'd given me.  Before they left, Provider name locked. walked me through the install, and showed me how to adjust the pressure regulator.  It's clear when you talk to her she really knows her stuff when it comes to plumbing.  She shared a lot of tips for me, not just regarding the work they'd done, but because we're doing a lot of DIY Provider name locked. she told me a lot of things to look out for.
If you're looking for a quality plumber, I'd give ADW a try.

  • He did not use a snake but used the tenant's plunger to clear it.  It took a few times as the toilet was clogged with a large amount of feces.  He then put toilet paper in the toilet and flushed.  It was working fine.  He told me that it did not look right and he would have to remove the toilet for a "look and see".  This is an old building with older plumbing. You don't do that.  He told me he may have to knock through the wall and also clear the toilet downstairs if he found a problem. There was no problem downstairs.  He did not know how much it would cost. There was nothing wrong with the toilet and the plunger solved the problem.  Provider name locked. was very high pressure about doing extensive work.  I declined it.  He told me that his report would include his recommendation and that I refused the work. Provider name locked. was there about 10 minutes.  I called Provider name locked. when I got home and told her what happened including his trying to pressure me into doing unnecessary work.  She told me she appreciated the feedback.  He was a "new employee and she was still checking him out".  When I initially called she told me that she was sending out  her "top guy".  Provider name locked. was going to charge me for snaking the toilet after I told her he did not use a snake.  She then said she would charge me $150.00 with an Angie's list discount of $15.00 and a $10.00 discount for using the tenant's plunger totaling $125.00.  She said she would "eat the credit card charge".  She advertises that she takes credit cards.

As a new customer looking for a plumber with the potential of many apartments and ongoing work, I would think she would come out herself to meet me and try to gain my confidence in her and her company.  Instead, she sent a new employee that apparently was still on probation who tried to build up a very small job and then charged me $150.00 (with some discounts) to plunge a toilet. I paid it without question as I was never going to use her again.  I did not discuss my reviewing her on Angie's list as, after our phone conversation, I decided that it was not worth the effort.  She obviously did not get it as she sent me an email thanking me for my business.  I hope this review is helpful to Provider name locked. and to Angie's List members.

  • This is our fourth time using ADW over the last several years.
We need our main sewer line cleaned regularly because the clay pipe is cracked near a Jacaranda Tree.
Regular rooting blades cannot clean the old clay pipes adequately so we have them do the High pressure cleaning with video. It costs more but we need it.
They own the Super High pressure water Rig and their Video Camera Rig.
Our previous company had to rent this specialty equipment and so charged us more.
Provider name locked. is terrific. Since we do this as a non-emergency proactive service we did not need her same-day.
We scheduled the day a few days in advance. She called me the day before with a time, and she called again just before coming over as I had requested.
All went well, as it has each time they have come over.
