  • Awesome job on a simple fence that was made much nicer than I could have hoped for. Since the completion of the fence Eric and his crew have remodeled a rental unit (fantastic) have remodeled a kitchen in our residence (beautiful) and countless odd jobs when needed. The crew is always prompt and jobs are done to specification if not Eric will come back and make it right. A hard job, yes but Eric does it all with patience and a bit of humor.

  • Hourly rate was too expensive. Very rough expandable type of estimate so essentially paying by hour and not by job! Since this was a rental unit we were not aware we needed to provide building specs from LA Building and Safety and no one asked us for them. We went by oral and written info from inspector as he inspected. Tech accidentally cut into beam supporting second story and needed to be replaced. Garage door was not hung properly by same tech(Eloy) (cut diagonally into top of door to fit and shaved off part of door on not hinged side) and I had to get another company to redo it.(Paying for new door out of pocket).Insisted that needed a 4x6 overhead beam and that it all needed to be redone for another days work.($1K) Smaller overhead beam passed. Techs worked too slowly (by the hour) and were willing to leave job not completely done without more drywall added or more mudding done. In all fairness I was not willing to pay $125. an hour for their work at the end.My son finished for me at lower cost.

  • Julien is, hands down, the best contractor we have ever worked with. He is friendly, smart, and made it easy to live in our house while construction went on around us. He provided before and after pictures, 3D images...he's just fantastic. His guys are sweet, and very hard workers, too. Highly recommend.

  • After we met and interviewed 5 home improvement companies and general contractors for our remodeling project (kitchen, bathroom, and garage), we met Eyal and we knew immediately that we want him to do the remodeling work. Eyal was the only person from all the other ones that wasn’t pushy, aggressive to sale and he didn’t try to force us to sign right there without allow us to think about it before. We discussed about what we wanted to have and get and Eyal was able to understand it very well and to execute it on the best side. During the work we had some small issues (very normal when a large scale remodeling project is being done) but Eyal was able to handle all of them in a very professional way and pretty fast. The whole remodeling project was finished on the scheduled date and MAINLY on the promised budget. We will work with Eyal and his team again for any new remodeling project we may have and frankly enough we already start planning to hire him for another remodeling as well.

  • FEARLESS AND TAKE CHARGE TONY GETS JOB DONE! I am the owner of rock legend "Jim Morrison's Last Known U.S. Home" a 6 u. W. Hlwd. apt. bldg. I thought I'd try Angie's list to find a Gen. Con. to resolve a staircase & balcony Notice of Violation issue. I contacted a few dozen to get bids. Many didn't respond or had excuses. A few attempted to talk to the City of Weho for details, but eventually fell by the wayside. In the end, there was only one man left standing and that was Tony. He went above and beyond the call of duty, going to the city day after day for weeks talking to various depts. until he got answers, not accepting their runaround. I found Tony to be very knowledgeable, professional, honest, and dedicated. It was Tony who discovered my situation had become even more complicated with the city who had taken it to a whole new arena of "Historical" significance, which ultimately made the intended job more complicated and financially devastating so that I could not pursue the original job with Tony as planned as he was my 1st choice for the job. Tony never asked me for money, referrals, or to leave a review. He never asked for anything, but gave his everything. As a licensed realtor who has been in the Real Estate business for over 40 yrs. as an investor, developer, landlord, Vacation Rentals host, and CEO of Cheri Woods Rentals, I have no hesitation in saying to others you cannot afford NOT to hire Tony, if you want someone professional who knows what they are doing to take charge of your project, as there are too many con artists out there who will take your money and run.

  • Eric and his crew have accomplished a heroic remodel of a rental apartment for me and it turned out beautiful. All remodels are difficult in older homes. What with things being not level but Eric made things look great. Eric and his crew continue to work on my properties doing everything from minor plumbing leaks to custom air conditioning installations. They are always prompt, courteous and willing to give that extra little effort to make the job right.

  • We found Hein after reading through several A+ reviews across all of the task sites. We first asked him to install a ceiling storage unit in our garage. The combination of high quality work + being a professional and very friendly dude, nudged us to invite him to take on a larger project: a shiplap accent wall in our living room. Once again, he did not disappoint. He had to work through a few hiccups with home depot because of incorrect wood cuts, but that did not impact the timeline or quality. We absolutely intend to use Hein again for other projects and give him the highest recommendation possible.

  • I can't believe how amazing my house remodel turned out. I'm most impressed with how they transformed my Mid Century home with modern updates while still keeping the original integrity of the home. The designers listened to me and my crazy wish list and needs, and came up with designs that took all my ideas to the next level. They took their time to work with me and make sure I would be 100% happy with every little detail and gave me tons of visual aids so I would have a good idea of what my home would look like before the construction even started. When we moved into the construction phase, they were complete professionals from beginning to end. They communicated with me regarding the schedule and if they foresaw any delays. I appreciated the honesty and hand-holding I received when I had questions, or anything unexpected came up. I have been in my house for a few months now, and everyday am grateful for my beautiful home and that I chose this company to make my dreams come true!

  • We initially contacted Tony because he worked on a friend of ours. We needed essentially a full remodel of a new home, complete with a brand new kitchen, bathrooms and floors. We hired him because of the referral. Despite having a phone from 1992, Tony is very good about responding to phone calls and texts. E-mailing, however, is pointless. If you can deal with that, and his somewhat gruff demeanor, he's trustworthy and honest, qualities that actually matter. The work in our place was extensive. We needed a brand new kitchen (cabinets, appliances, countertops, floors, vent, etc.) , two brand new bathrooms (shower enclosure, tile, bathtub, vanity, fixtures), new floors throughout, doors, door hardware, moving laundry hookups, upgrading to a tankless water heater, and lighting. We also ended up adding in removing a beam, enlarging two picture windows, and replumbing portions of the house. Tony gave us an aggressive timeline, but that was delayed by several weeks. Like all things in construction, things rarely happen on-time, so if you accept that reality, you'll be happy for it. We got into some small disagreements about the timeline, but never did I believe he didn't have our best interest at heart. Even after everything was finished, he kept calling me to make sure we were happy, and asked if there was anything more to touch up.

  • I have a 1940's apartment and the woodwork needed repair - trim and kitchen cabinets. I was nervous because I didn't want it to turn out badly since it was the original wood. I also needed the outside painted, which is stucco. First, Hein did a fantastic job of selecting beautiful, tasteful paint colors and basically handled everything. All I had to do was choose the color. The painting turned out perfect and clean and made my building look gorgeous again. Then Hein fixed the inside of my building, all the woodwork - the trim and the kitchen cabinets. Everything turned out so lovely. I am really pleased with how everything turned out. The price was fair and very good, the workmanship was excellent, Hein was very professional, prompt and completed the jobs exactly on time. Basically he handled everything and all I had to do was pay him. Easy peasy and done with absolute excellent workmanship. I cannot recommend him enough.
