    Jeannie Shen MD
She was empathetic and explained things carefully. She did not use big word and was very upfront about all the possibilities. She is young and energetic. She was not serious and was always cheerful.

    Funk, Dr. Krisiti
Dr. Funk freely shared her knowledge and demonstrated compassion, not something always in evidence from every surgeon. I really appreciated her recommendations about concerns I had, which followed a previous procedure by a different surgeon.

    Jay Harness MD
He is incredible and awesome!   He is world known.  He has been around for a long time and is knowledgable.  He is located at St. Joe's.  The hospital personnel and the building is wonderful!  I would recommend it to everybody!  I can't think of 1 bad experience at the hospital.  All he does is breast surgery, if you are in the area I would definately recommend him!

    Memsick, Dr. Leslie
I've seen Dr. Memsick three times for my 6 month breast exam and couldn't feel like I'm in better hands. She's so wonderful that I had to write this report!

    Tomi Evans MD
Dr. Evans was my first contact after my diagnosis, and she was informative, reassuring and compassionate. I had two surgeries to remove tumors, and both were successful, with no complications. Dr. Evans has been helpful in providing options and referrals for other treatment. I trust her to tell me statistics for options, which helps in life or death decision making.

    Stevens, Dr. Grant
He scheduled surgery while in the office, about 6pm for 6am 36 hours, as what appeared to be an emergency.  It was the week of Christmas and I was alone, scared and unprepared.  It was so fast.  I thought he was scared for me.  He didn't say this.  But he was the only man in the world who had ever performed surgery on me.  He had done brilliant surgery, 9 years before. He was always conservative and careful to discourage me about "over doing" any unnecessary surgery or injections, previously.   But this was a new day and a new experience.  I negotiated the $26,000 down to $21,000 in Cashiers Check no more than 24 hours from the consultation.  He was happy about that.  And sweet before surgery.  I just loved him-he was my one and only surgeon.   The story ends poorly and I can say that I will never understand why.  But this same man never spoke to me, again.  He never looked at me, as if I were more than a stray dog, begging at his table.  Right, the same person with the $21,000 cashiers check on his word.  What is most troubling, is that dozens of calls and emails were either ignored or answered by staff that may or may not have told him I called or emailed.  I thought that he wouldn't ignore me.  That was unbelievable.  But when I went in for follow up (flying in) he screamed at me and bolted out of his office.  I cried in the parking lot for a while.  I was in pain, had pithing Edema for the 1st time in my life and he did not examine me.  Literally.  Across the room he said flatly "glad it all worked out." On follow up 3, when I showed him my inverted nipple, he said "' asymmetrical. breast's are quite common. "  I hadn't actually noticed that, but glad to know that my newly disfigured body is, in one more way, UGLY AND DISFIGURED.  :( Horrifying is the word that comes to mind. .  HORRIFYING
