    Lerman Appliances
Mike arrived during the agreed-upon time frame, always a plus. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to share info about our malfunctioning 18-year-old GE gas range. He diagnosed the problem quickly and gave us a range of options, including the estimated cost of repair, which seemed reasonable. He replaced our igniter, at which time he could tell that we did not need an additional repair that can sometimes be caused by a bad igniter, so he gets big points for honesty as well. We called Lerman years ago and were pleased with their service then. I'm happy to report that they have maintained their excellent staff and service record. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

    US Standard Appliance Repair
Service went very well. I Purchased our Maytag dryer in 1999. It's been extremely reliable. Recently it began making a loud squeaking noise when running. I called US Standard this morning about the problem and their rep. said they would have someone out that afternoon between 1 and 5. Boris arrived here at about 1:30PM, took the machine apart, checked that the motor was OK, said drum support assembly was the problem and should be replaced. He had the appropriate parts in his van and installed the new parts which included drive belt, idler pully, drum support rollers, and front glides. Boris was professional, customer oriented, clearly knowledgeable. Entire service call took a little over an hour. I would definitely call US Standard Appliance Repair to repair our major appliances.

    Lerman Appliances
The repairmen were nice and professional, but I believe they misdiagnosed the problem. They ordered a $550 part only to find that problem persisted after it was installed. They then returned and installed another part which cost $120, though they didn't charge me labor for the second visit. Still, I don't feel I got my money's worth.

Sharp Appliance AC & Heating Repair Co
Fred at Sharp Appliances contacted me immediately by phone once I posted the call for quotes on Angie's List. He was able to come by the next morning (on time) and promptly diagnosed the issue and repaired my oven within 30 minutes. Great service, especially right before Christmas! I highly recommend him and will call upon him again for future appliance issues!

South Bay Appliance / Spears Appliance Service
Their technician came out and assessed the situation and as we suspected we needed to have our igniter replaced. He was quick, thorough and efficient. He showed us things our oven could do that we didnt even know!!! We will definitely use them again. We plan to visit their show room to purchase our new refrigerator and washer/dryer.

    Appliance Attack
Excellent. I called mid morning and the repairman said he could come that afternoon. It turned out he was able to come within an hour. He had the replacement part on his truck and the job was completed within two hours of my initial inquiry. He was knowledgeable and professional.

Firstly, they claim to be an Authorized Viking Service Center, they are not. We had a problem with our Viking Range and Dave Z (License 45003) came out to repair it. Firstly they charged 3x the retail price of the part (which they said had a 5 year warranty on the part) and charged $200 labor for the 5 minutes it took to replace it. Not 10 weeks later, it died again. When we called them back to replace the part under warranty, they would not comply unless we paid another $200 in labor, so much so when we asked them just to leave the part, they stated the part was only under warranty if they performed the work again at the additional fee.

    Fix It appliances
I contacted Armen and told him about my leak in my refrigerator. He said he could send out a person that day by 3pm which is exactly what happened. He stated it sounded like a clogged drain line and if that was the case the price would be $150.00 to fix it. Eddie showed up before 3pm and immediately came in and stated he thought it was the drain. After removing the icemaker and the rear part of the back of the freezer we could see all the ice build up around the drain. He then plugged in a steamer to melt the ice and then after that poured hot water into the drain until he melted and unclogged the drain itself. Everything was done and the price was exactly as stated. I will use them again for sure.

    Dne appliance repair
They came to look at a problem with my dryer and charged $100 simply to show up. Turned out the problem went away by the time they arrived, so they gave me a credit for $100, in writing, for my next service call. When I called the person who answered the business line told me it had been too long (5 months) so they wouldn't honor it. When i protested very loudly he said he'd talk to the guy who came to the house. He then said OK, he'd honor it. When the next service guy came he asked to be paid and I asked if he knew about the credit i had. He didn't so he called the guy who on the business line who once again refused to honor the credit! I ended up paying the service man just to leave but promised the guy in the office i would write a review. Needless to say i would NOT EVER go near this company again.
