    OM Construction Inc
Outstanding! Very reasonably priced. HONEST. He returned $479 worth of wood and refunded it to me. If he hadn't of told me I would not have known that the wood was returned. Arrived on time. Four people working. Finished on time. Quality work. He came back a week after job was finished/paid for to see if there were any problems or concerns. Honest and reliable. Very Very Reasonably priced. All work had permit. He was less expense than contractors who wanted to replace my roof and stucco without a permit. All work top quality. Very meticulous. Did an amazing job! Highly recommend OM Construction and Tony.

    Horizon Construction & Remodeling Inc
I found Horizon Construction on the Houzz app after several attempts to connect with a few other contractors. I sent an email on a Sunday and got a response the following Monday. The great communication with Horizon continued through my entire project of a complete remodel of my kitchen, guest bathroom and walk in closet. They also installed all new windows and tile flooring. My project manager was David and he was the best, made himself available to me for all of my many questions and decisions even while he was on vacation! Working with Enna and the others at the office were perfect as well. I couldnt be more pleased with the outcome of my remodel. Best Regards, Debbie Karmelich

    The House Next Door
They're terrible. They're awful. They did a big job, but they tried every which way, along the way, to get more money out of me than originally contracted for. It eventually turned out to be a nice room. But it was a struggle all the way. I would not recommend them ever to anyone. They should not cheat people. They should be honest.

Patio Depot - Pro Builders Express
We got 3 quotes from businesses on Angies List for a patio cover. We chose Patio Depot because, 1. They came over the next day. 2. They knew just what we wanted in a difficult space. 3. They gave us an exact price quote. 4. The price was 30-50% less than anybody else. 5. They were able to start within one week. They showed up at 9:00 AM and verified all the details with us and started work. They checked with us all day and basically finished the patio cover in one long work day. They came back the next day and finished some electrical connections in a couple of hours. The patio cover is exactly what we wanted, the price was right, and the workers were very skilled. We have several other projects in mind and Patio Depot will be the first place we call...........P.S. They, also, gave us a list of 25 completed jobs near me with names, addresses, and phone numbers. The list, also, noted which jobs were visible from the street so we could drive by and look at them.......

    Do It Right Remodeling
How did it go....In short, AMAZING!  Edan and Aviran have an incredible energy about them which directly translates and carries through into the work they deliver.  We have worked together on several projects, and we will continue to work with them for the following reasons:
    1.  Design and taste - they deliver choices to you that are diversified, yet sophisticated and elegant.  They will offer traditional solutions to remodeling if that is your taste, BUT, in addition, they have a natural flare for extraordinary one of a kind designs suitable to your particular home.  And, they do this on their own....we never had to ask them to research various choices. In one instance they felt a blown glass ornamental chandelier would work beautifully in our living room given the high ceilings.  Their excitement led them to explore and investigate options. Their taste in design is extraordinary and unique to the personality of the home and customer...but the work just begins there for them since they research hundreds of choices which they think might work for us.  In each remodel, they exceeded expectations and took personal pride in the style and execution of the plan.  Personal touch with a custom design - a lesson for all of us!
    2.  Implementation - their team in each remodel was courteous, gracious and professional.  None were novices and each project had a 'foreman' type to oversee the hourly and daily progress.  their experience and expertise uncovered other issues which they easily and gladly overcame.
    3.  temperament - professional and respectful.  this extends to their team of workers as well.
    4.  knowledge - this is important since each home is unique and is faced with its own challenges. when you have Edan and Aviran, they have seen enough to know how things were done and how it should be done.  further, their experience is complemented by the team of workers which they surround themselves with.
    5.  cleanliness - to some people, i might be a bit obsessive with cleaning, dust and messes in general.  I am a challenge to all with this.  Edan and Aviran never made this an issue and i was beyond satisfied at the end of each of their work days.  They took care to ensure our flooring was not damaged while work was done and at the close of the day, cleaned up to the point i was very pleased and appreciative.
    6.  Financial - on budget!  that should say a lot.
    7.  Duration - on time completion EACH TIME.
If you intend to remodel your home, a very personal and private place, I strongly recommend Edan and Aviran to translate expectations into a beautiful reality.

    Patios By B&B Inc
The people were so friendly and easy to talk to.  We got  a quote without any pressure to buy.  The paperwork had an itemized list of costs so you could see where the money was going to.  Their professionalism and timely communication was a very good sign that they are good at what they do.
We were so happy we chose them because they were were so reliable and got the project done before a party we had scheduled.  We really did not give them enough time to complete the project, but they somehow managed to do it.  We had a patio covering and 2 awnings replaced.  We also had lighting placed in the patio.  The product was just as described and they left the place cleaner than they had found it.  The finishing details and clean up were really appreciated.   The patio and awnings are so nice to finally have replaced.
Patios by B and B really cares about their service and product.

    Jeff Maxwell Roofing
They have provided excellent service. The rate is very competitive and they gave us a better price for the same shingle that other service providers quoted. He managed to get the insulation for a good deal as well. It has taken a little while for the work as they are very thorough and really take their time which is fine by us. Their was extensive termite damage and they have had to do some replacement wood work as well.

    LIBERTY CONSTRUCTION
These guys could not adequately get thru the estimate phase.      After many phone calls we finally set an appointment date and time.  I showed up early and left 23 minutes after the scheduled time.  When I returned home two hours later I had two messages waiting for me regarding my missing our appointment.  This, as you might imagine, set the stage for my return call.  There are certain things that give me insight in people and companies.  One of these things is how well they  listen. And this is not their strongpoint.  When I explained what the facts were surrounding this incident, I first got a denial and was finally greeted with nonsense and confusion.  This is not what I want from someone I would be paying money to for the performance of services. This is my only experience with them except for Tammy on the phone who was pleasant, fun and polite, But  had I joined Angie's List before  I certainly would not have called in the first place.

    JAPAN LANDSCAPING
Over seven (7) months to complete this patio project is unacceptable. Having the owner?s time and privacy interrupted for five (5) more months than the originally communicated completion date is unjustifiable.  This is almost 100% due, poor workmanships, doing and re- doing tasks again and again, poor project management, missing committed completion dates, inadequate numbers and skills of workers, poor management and communication skills, mismanagement of sub-contractors, or management of contractors that were not under contract to Japan Landscaping.  The telephone calls, the knocks on the window requesting of the owners time?.for SEVEN MONTHS!!!
Quality of work was lacking? Workers continually spilled or scraped or damaged surfaces that had been completed? causing the need to re-do already completed work.  Walls needed to be repainted as care was nor taken to safeguard walls and other surfaces from grout, paint and scrapes.  The concrete dye process was not well executed? color is not uniform; spills from poorly managed previous work damaged the concrete causing large areas of poor absorption.  Areas are poorly dyed leaving obvious incorrect lines and inappropriate mottling. Owner asked to review the final dye coverage before sealant was applied.  This request was not honored.  . The retaining planter walls were not to plan (too short) and were requested to be corrected. This error by the contractor was corrected. This error affected the overall visual balance of the project, as the plan called for the brick surround on the columns to be the same height as the planter walls. Which they are not! Plants were not correctly placed and had to be replanted. Sprinklers have been placed too close to the back wall?. Causing an eyesore?. As the sprinklers puddle water during the watering cycle, due to the too close proximity to the wall, the mud splashes the back wall leaving a constant dirt line on the wall?. Not attractive! One of the sprinklers is lined up so that it sprays exactly on the front of the electrical out let for sprinkler timer.  Workers had no regard for the customer?s property, blatant misappropriate damage of property (unauthorized cutting of trees and shrubs), breakage of wooden fireplace Television cabinet, permanent scratches and marring of front surface of stainless steel fireplace.  This vent less gas outdoor fireplace cost over $3000.00.  The only surface that can really be seen is the front, which is now covered with scratches and permanent marring due to worker carelessness and negligence. Japan Landscaping continuously lied and manipulated this project committing to completion dates and not honoring any of its commitments.  Once the majority of the funds were paid, Japan Landscaping pulled workers off this job and on to others. This project languished for over seven months.  Final date of completion (minus a few sprinkler problems) was November 27th. 2011.  Total project completion timeframe was 7 months and 16 days, that?s five (5) months and 6 days over stated completion date at contract signage. Progress reports showed work completed at 100% and so billed, that were not completed. Japan Landscaping forward billed its work, pressing the homeowner for funds for work not yet completed. Japan Landscaping told the homeowners to purchase patio project materials right away. (skylights, fireplace, fireplace inserts, gas heaters? these materials then sat around for months, negating any possibility for return due to the extensive length of time from purchase to utilization.Cost increases were arbitrary and not transparent.  Owner had to fight for rightful cost credits, never feeling a true rebate of costs back was provided. Workers were rude ? playing music loud, when asked to stop playing Hispanic music, Rap was played instead. Carpenter inappropriately and consistently yelled loudly at his co-worker.  One worker sang and talked incessantly? loud whoops and jeering; extremely annoying with no concern for the owner or for other neighbors. A terrible experience.
On the positive side the owner is generally a nice guy who returns phone calls promptly, is good at trouble shooting problems or damage, is open to ideas and changes, and works hard to right things when they are wrong
