    P's Handyman Services Inc
Excellent job, as usual. Pier is a perfectionist and believes in giving you exactly what you want. Even though he has lots of other clients, when he works on your home, it seems like you're his only client. Pier is great at solving problems - generally caused by earlier poor workmanship. He and his crew are professional, expedient, but careful, and clean, polite and HONEST. And, they can do just about anything for your home. I would never allow anyone else to work on my home - and haven't for the last 12 or so years.

    Horizon Construction & Remodeling Inc
I found Horizon Construction on the Houzz app after several attempts to connect with a few other contractors. I sent an email on a Sunday and got a response the following Monday. The great communication with Horizon continued through my entire project of a complete remodel of my kitchen, guest bathroom and walk in closet. They also installed all new windows and tile flooring. My project manager was David and he was the best, made himself available to me for all of my many questions and decisions even while he was on vacation! Working with Enna and the others at the office were perfect as well. I couldnt be more pleased with the outcome of my remodel. Best Regards, Debbie Karmelich

Rooter Alert Plumbers & Sewer Contractors
These guys did a lot of work for us over the past year. They were always quick to answer questions, and worked with us on the estimate, and took the time to explain what was wrong and how to fix it. Would definitely use again.

    DIF Plumbing & Rooter Service
Called DIF after getting a quote from another company. Ken was able to come over within 30 minutes. The other company tried several methods to unclog drain but to no avail and quoted me close to $3k for a project. Ken looked at the issue, including going under the house and immediately came up with a sensible solution. It was not going to be a simple snake of a drain. Not only was I confident about his experience but his price was more than fair...he fixed my toilet gratis (which the other company wanted to charge me $385 for a "compete toilet overhaul") showed me the problem areas via camera with my main sewer line and then went the extra mile and put a few screws in to the bottom of my driveway gate to secure it. Ken is a nice, easygoing guy and made an expensive situation tolerable. No doubt his magnet is on my frig. Thanks Ken

    DIF Plumbing & Rooter Service

I first found DIF plumbing in 2011 through Angies's List.  I called him to snake out a drain and a plumbing relationship was born!  Since that minor repair 5 years ago, I have called on Ken many times for projects both samll and large.

He and his assitant Stelly just completed a full upgrade of all pipes - including drainage - running to and from my house, water heater and laundry area in the garage.

I am planning a major patio renovation which will involve re-paving over most of these pipes and I wanted to make sure they were in the best possible condition.

Ken thought through all of the issues before beginning work and carefully explained the process.  Once he got going, the work was finished in a timely manner and he even went above and beyond, fixing some unforeseen problems without charging me extra.

I have utter confidence that the work will last decades!

Besides being reliable, knowlegable and responsive, Ken is just a great guy!  And, combined with his assistant, DIF Plumbing makes for a great experience.

    Tony's Plumbing, Inc.
Mark arrived on-time, removed the old garbage disposal, replaced some of the drain pipe, and installed the new garbage disposal we purchased. He tested the drain pipes to make sure there was no leakage. Nice, polite, and professional work.

    Repipe Specialists Inc

Repipe Specialists Inc. did a complete repipe and drain replacement in my 88 year old home.  The repiping and drain line replacement all went very well. The job was completed in a timely and professional manner. I appreciate the manner in which the workers paid attention to protecting my floors (which are only a few months old) and my new kitchen (only a couple of months old). They kept the noise level as low as possible and took care of the clean up at the end of each work day.  When the job was complete the lead worker walked me through and explained everything that had been done and answered all my questions.

There was some confusion when it was time for the patch work to be completed.  The project manager (.Steve Lovell) had to push my appointment for the patch work back a day due to an unavoidable delay on another project. I had no problem with that, but  I did have an issue when I was informed again of another delay that would have taken more days of delay which would interfere with previously scheduled plans of my own.  However, the project manager did work it out for the patch work to begin and end as previously scheduled.  Patch job was perfect.

I am a single senior woman and even if I went under the house to visually inspect the work that's been done, I would not know if its a good job or a bad job because I don't know anything about plumbing. The fact that a lifetime guarantee is part of the contract gives me security to trust the work that was completed.  The one thing that prevents me from giving the Repipe Specialists Inc an "A" rating is the fact that this document was missing from my contract. I was given a sample of the document, but not the actual signed and dated guarantee. I have made more than two phone calls requesting the document. I received a called from Steve Lovell stating that he had asked the front office to mail me the document, but as of the writing of this review I still have not received the promised guarantee. I call today and received a return call from Steve who once again stated that he would call the office again and request the guarantee.  Because I have no type of warranty or guarantee I have to give a rating of "C" but will be glad to upgrade this rating once the warranty/guarantee is received. I have received the signed and dated copy of the lifetime guarantee and gladly change my overall rating to a B.

Rooter Alert Plumbers & Sewer Contractors
We first purchased a $99 drain line coupon after experiencing issues with a bathroom sink.  The job quickly escalated into a full-scale job, with each inspection finding additional problems (that we knew needed eventual attention): from the $99 drain cleaning to a $1250 line replacement to a $3000 2-line change to a $13000 full system replacement.
The first phases went smoothly, and we were content with the initial work and service.  Afterward, we had issues with office response, scheduling, and communication, but we were appreciative of the plumbers' continued efforts at our home.  Mel, the main plumber, did an excellent job communicating progress and bringing various things to our attention.  Work done was satisfactory but took considerably more days than anticipated.
Upon completion of the project, we approached the office supervisors with our concerns.  From these interactions, it was apparent that Rooter Alert really valued customer feedback (They even have an "Angie's List Supervisor"!), and they made extensive efforts to rectify the issues we had.  We negotiated and determined a mutually-agreeable resolution, and we are now thankful that we have clean water and functioning drains in our 75-year-old home.

    Repipe 1
When I bought the house 15 years ago, the home inspector told me that the water pipes were copper, but the drains needed work.
One day the fear of a leak became greater than the fear of the cost and mess. Thankfully I had Angie's List and I found a company that just did re- piping that had an  AAA rating. The project manager came to my house and listened to what I wanted and needed and explained what they can do. I asked do divide up other projects that I needed until I paid for this one first. He was very helpful in working out a payment plan that I liked.
The worker showed up on time and ready to go with full knowledge of the job agreed upon. He explained what he needed and where he would be working and I helped him get organized. He was always working, but always available to answer questions and explained everything. He showed me the old drain pipes and how clogged they were. He also showed me the copper water pipes that had been combined with some other metal without connectors to protect the copper. So now the copper pipes were being destroyed.
Because he did such a great job I asked the project manager if he would delay the patchwork of the walls and go ahead with doing the replacement of the copper pipes with the new plastic. A deal was worked out and they will return on July 16th to fix the water pipes.
100% lifetime warranty on parts and labor.  And they patch and re-texture the walls to paint ready finish.
My son is in construction and had just learned about how to use connectors to combine copper with galvanized pipes. So we knew that the worker was truthful in telling the problem with my copper water pipes. My son also helped me decide on the plastic which is easier to install.
The only thing they don't do is the camera to check the total drain to the city.  That is another company.

    Ivan's Plumbing Services & Repair
He gave us a good quote. He did a good job overall but if you are working with him be sure you have a very clear and specific contract of terms because one of the issues we had is that when I told him we wanted the washer dryer moved from the bonus room and I wanted them stacked, he said okay that is not a problem. After he started the work, my husband was downstairs and he said, I thought she wanted it stacked and he said, no we are not stacking it, so I had left the house and my husband had to call me about the contact. I said we talked about everything before I asked him to write everything down and he said let me come and look at it. I told him very clearly what I wanted and he never once said that he wouldn’t be stacking it because I wouldn’t hire somebody if that was not going to be done. When he called me he said, I can be there after mid twelve and I said okay, great and he said I am at Lowe’s now picking up the stacking chain and he never once said no, he won’t stack that up. My husband had to help him to put the stacking kit together and my husband had to help the helpers to lift it up because he said that he had a bad back. That was the negative aspect of the work. Overall, he did the work, the city came out and inspected the work and it was fine. We were able to get the permit completed and the work is fine except he did not cleanup after himself. He opened up walls so there was water on the floors, other debris and he did not clean up anything.
