  • Bill was professional from first contact all the way to the completion of the project.  At the time of the estimate, he providing a list of local property references, which we spent a day going around and checking out.  Once the project started, Bill met with us at his suppliers warehouse and assisted in picking out matching stone and brick.
His workers showed up on time and got the demo done quick, in about two days.  The construction commenced soon after and was done in a timely fashion.  To date, everything looks good aside from a few cracks which are inevitable in a project of this size.
He worked with us on pricing and had the most competitive bid.  He also provides good input on yard ideas and does landscaping and irrigation as well.  His knowledge can save you a few hundred dollars on hiring a landscape architect.
We plan on doing our front yard at some point and Bill will be the first one we call.

  • The job went really well overall. To start the price was the most reasonable out of all the quotes we got. We were impressed with Provider name locked. and his enthusiasm for concrete and pavers immediately when we met him. We felt comfortable with his design ideas and his confidence that the job would look great.
On a side note, we previously did the stucco on our house before the concrete thus we were worried about the concrete demo guys ruining our stucco when taking out the concrete. Provider name locked. and his team were so responsive to our concerns and we had no problems with our stucco after they were finished. It was a hard job too as they had to cut the concrete with precision from our stucco base as well as break up asphault in some areas and they were so awesome and not ruining our stucco.
The job was done in about 4 days and these guys were the most efficient workers you have ever seen. At one point we had at least 12 guys doing various jobs throughout the yard from pouring concrete to leveling it to making it smooth and pretty. And the best part with the lead concrete worker was super nice so we felt comfortable talking to him or Provider name locked. which made us feel so much better with all our questions and concerns.
When the job was done my husband and I went out there with the lead worker and designed the cuts we were going to make in the concrete that would help with earthquakes but also the design.
It really looks great and we are very happy.
I will add two things though. The first thing is the work was done in April and it is now December. We did everything we were told regarding getting the concrete wet, etc when it was "curing" and we still have small, hairline cracks. It is obviously something that cant be avoided but it somewhat sucks. This company nor any other cant avoid those and we do live in earthquake country so I am sure the ground settling and small shakers contributed to this. But compared to our crappy driveway and lack of patio area before we are so happy with the result. The second thing that I actually waited until now to write the review (besides being busy) was getting a Provider name locked. notice from Provider name locked. 's Concrete (the concrete company that Provider name locked. uses in our area). This was beyond disturbing as we paid Provider name locked. as directed and on time and then within 1 to 2 weeks from the job being done we get  Provider name locked. notice on our house stating the bill is not paid to Robertsons Concrete and we are responsible. Provider name locked. did mention something along those lines when we were paying the final check however I was on my way to work and in a hurry so I must have glazed over when he stated this. I guess it is the practice of Provider name locked. 's Concrete to put Provider name locked. notices on the property that they deliver the concrete even though we did not directly use them (since Provider name locked. arranged for them to come and pour the concrete and they pay them, not us). I was furious at Provider name locked. but I must admit Provider name locked. did call back immediately (and I will admit I did call after regular business hours). He explained the situation and I guess that is Provider name locked. 's way of doing business. Provider name locked. did pay them correctly and we never heard back from Robertsons concrete. I would not let this stop you from doing business with Provider name locked. but I wish there was a better company that had just as outstanding concrete. I've looked online and it is a recurring theme for Provider name locked. 's to practice business like this however it definitely scared me when we got that in the mail.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this company. Its December now and we never heard from Robertsons again and we are so happy with the concrete and we are definitely improving the looks of our neighborhood! The concrete is wonderful to walk on with barefeet and we are so happy that we did this project for our home.

  • I called Josen's back in early September to come out and write an estimate on concrete and deck refurbishment.  Provider name locked. Carpenter shows up late and then spent about 2 hours going over options and taking measurements.
I never heard back from him. Both times I called him to follow up, he said that his office was in chaos and that he would make sure to get a bid out as soon as possible. It is now late November and I have not received a bid and I am not expecting one at this point. Very unprofessional.
