  • This was a complete demolished and rebuild of our kitchen and master Bathroom. The new design plan that ended up with the final construction was the longest part of the work but the corporation between us and Zohar was the main key for the success of the project which we love most. We shared with Zohar all of our ideas and visions that were basically different from the existing spaces, floorplans and cabinet structure. After we select the new style and finishes, the remodeling work of the remodeling began. We know that we never would have pass this part if not for the excellent design and tremendous help from Zohar and his people. Zohar have a very professional eye for things that go perfectly together and for things that just can’t be or done! He saved us from so many mistakes and disasters. Our home came out gorgeous and we got so many compliments from friends and family.

  • Our recent remodeling project was to completely redesign our kitchen. The remodeling project was done in a very professional way and was completed within the scheduled time frame that was given to us by Zohar. We were kept informed of the remodeling status including the deliveries and documents (such as invoices and permits), our questions and concerned were promptly answered and any issue that was raised during the work, were addressed very quickly and professionally. The overall quality of the workmanship is excellent and all the few issues that came up after the kitchen remodeling was finished were solved right away.

  • We found Preferred Home Builders (PHB) through Angie’s List and were impressed by their many rave reviews. After lengthy decision making, we decided to go with PHB for a complete Kitchen and Bathroom remodel. I will be honest and say that I dreaded the thought of going through a remodel but Aviv Peretz, PHB’s Project Contractor, has been outstanding each step of the way. From the very first day we met him, he put forth every effort to help us feel comfortable and at ease about every aspect of the remodel project. He is very knowledgeable, professional, thorough and answered my ‘multitude’ of questions with patience and understanding. PHB has a great team of workers for electrical, plumbing, tiling, cabinetry, and other. They offered many recommendations on where items can be purchased at good prices, has provided great ideas, tips and suggestions that have been very helpful in finalizing our project plans. We are still in the mid-stages of our project but are confident that Preferred Home Builders will successfully and to our satisfaction see us through to the very end. From our perspective, they strive to give you the best price and service. We also feel they know the importance of a good business image; and from our personal experience, they really strive to make their customers happy. We would highly recommend Preferred Home Builders. And, we especially give Aviv and his team of workers (Michelle, Luis and all others) high marks in every way.

  • Job was executed better than expected. Took less time after measuring to get installation. 1st round had about 25 drawers put in kitchen and pantry. It went so well that I had Logan come back and install another 30 drawers in kitchen and two bathrooms. It isn’t inexpensive but well worth the money. Every day I am so pleased with the now easy access in my cabinets. Also Logan is so tidy when he is working, it is very rare.

  • The owner Eric answered phone inquiries promptly. Process was explained. Logan came out to measure and help determine which size drawers might work the best. Logan brought a van that was equipped with drawers and the various sizes that were available. I was able to bring items out to the van to see how they would “fit” in the drawers. Great mock up. Install went great. It is rare to get someone as tidy and organized as Logan. All drawers came blanket wrapped. All hardware was lined up ready for use. There wasn’t any dust, screws or trash left behind. First install was about 20 drawers. They were amazing. I was finally able to see what was in these huge, deep cabinets. I was so happy that I had Logan come back to measure for an additional 30 drawers. Best decision ever. Since install I am able to organize and access everything. One of the most responsive and professional companies that I have ever hired. I canceled my consultation with Shelf Genie after finding Rollouts Quick. The lead time for Shelf Genie was about 6-8 weeks while Rollouts Quick was between 1-2 weeks from start to finish. Price was also going to be considerable less than Shelf Genie. Rollouts makes their own drawers while Shelf Genie contracts out. There just wasn’t any contest who to use. Cost was about $100 per drawer.

  • It was bad. How bad was it? Read on: This is decidedly not a recommendation but merely a heads-up regarding our experience with Paragon Builders and its owner. I can't/won't go into a list of issues, difficulties and problems we've encountered with Paragon as we dealt with them during a kitchen and bathroom remodel. It's too long and we don't think most people would believe us, given the glowing recommendations on this and other sites. But what I'd like to do is address anyone reading this and contemplating hiring Paragon: I have gone through a child-birth that was more pleasant than what my husband and I went through with this company. Here is a tiny, tiny, TINY list of the least vexxing examples: After we questioned an item that was expressly provided for in our contract, Paragon's owner hit us with, "I don't care what's in the contract..." So be careful what you sign, or don't, because evidently it doesn't matter; Workers and reps of Paragon often showed up with no advanced warning, no heads-up, phone call, nothing. By the same token, workers who were scheduled to appear sometimes didn't; When things go wrong (and they will, which is to be expected), you should be prepared to take the blame for EVERYthing. Even things with which you are not involved will somehow be your fault. One small example: Sliding kitchen shelves that the owner indicated were standard and were written into the contract weren't installed, and that was somehow our fault; If you have dogs, be prepared to double-triple-and quadruple-lock your gates because Paragon will "forget" that you have dogs and leave gates wide open; At your first meeting, Paragon will assure you that you are its only and most important client, that it works on only one job at a time and that YOU will be the single focus of Paragon's energy. Um...no; The kitchen contract was signed 1/18/2018, approximate completion date (per the contract) was March 9, 2018, the workers left MID-MAY! The final, agonizing step (installation of the bathroom shower door) finally occurred today. It's a good thing we were home because our advance warning was virtually nil. Had we not been home, we could tack another 4-6 weeks onto the bathroom completion date. Seriously. The guys working on the guest bath (a tiny, tiny room) arrived every day between 9:00-9:30 a.m., took an hour for lunch and left at 3:00. That's a 5-hour work day. We'll just leave that here with no further comment. So a rough estimate of a 2+ room job: 7 months. Be prepared. One minor positive: The owner was pretty easy to get ahold of and did respond to text messages within a day or so, which was not really "quick," but definitely a pleasant surprise. The questions/issues we had that we felt were important enough to text about were dealt with RELATIVELY expeditiously. (i.e., the worker who installed the new washer and dryer forgot to turn the water to the washer on before he left. Both appliances are the size of Buicks, thus too large for us to move to check it out, and we figured the washer was a lemon. After a lot of hullabaloo, frantic phone calls to the seller, etc., we called Paragon as a last resort, got a "Oh, yeah, maybe the water's not on" and, after a couple of days, our new washer finally worked. We still can't figure that one out.) There isn't room to go into all that went wrong, and we absolutely WILL take the blame for being newbies at this whole remodel thing and not being as well-schooled as we should have been, but sometimes it's hard to know what you don't know. Obviously other clients have had terrific experiences with Paragon. We didn't, and feel that it's important for those of you who are new to this to be aware that a LOT of due diligence should be done prior to hiring a contractor. But, again, it's very hard to know what's what if you've never done anything like this before. We would guess that Paragon is for the experienced renovation client, not those of you (like us) just starting out. We believe that personal recommendations from friends, neighbors, etc. would have been much more appropriate for us to rely on than a recommendation on a website, but that's just us. We'll live with what we ended up with, which is admittedly better than what we started out with, but we feel that the whole experience could have been an exciting, timely and happy one, had we chosen another contractor. (For instance, our experience/interaction with DiBara Masonry, who did all of our porch, planter and walkway renovation, was exemplary and ridiculously fun! THESE are the people we wish had done our kitchen.) Live and learn, folks. But, if possible, try not to pay a BOATload of money for it!

  • I cannot say enough good things about Tony and his crew and the quality work they performed for me. I bought a condo with two 25-year old bathrooms, and wanted to replace the tubs, showers, fixtures, cabinets, toilets and floor tiles and repaint each one. I consulted with Tony about what could be done and both turned out great! Tony and OM Construction's tradesmen were professional, efficient, clean and responsive to minor changes or things that I wanted to do that wouldn't work because of the particular building (i.e. slab floor that prevented a walk-in shower because of existing plumbing that could not be re-configured or changed without significant work or cost). I will use OM Construction again with a rental property I own, and will heartily recommend them to friends.

Pier and his crews did a great job replacing or kitchen floor, painting our cabinets and replacing out old under counter lighting (fluorescent) with custom LED's, The new floor was impeccably laid as was the replacement of the floor base moldings. The cabinet painting was perfect.

  • Sapir Construction did a excellent job on our remodel. They listened to our needs, They were in constant communication throughout the entire process (9 weeks to be exact). It was pretty big job. They removed walls to make our entire kitchen/dining room/living room open concept. They replaced all the walls in this area (and ceiling) from plaster to drywall. They replaced all electrical, new floors, a most importantly, a brand new kitchen. They also replaced our plumbing clean out from the house to the street. Overall, they helped us to create a beautiful kitchen and living space, along with correcting our very old plumbing. If we wanted to make changes in the middle they were great at working with us. They were polite and always kept an attitude of excitement as we experienced this adventure. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality work and professionalism.

  • My sister sang their praises last year after they had gone through Pure Energy to get their kitchen & bathroom redone. I requested Tom, the fellow that had worked on my sisters home, told them our situation and scheduled an appointment. We discussed our budget and realized we did not have much to work with so we had to put the project on hold for a month during which time, our project manager worked hard and was able to get us approved for complete financing. We really hadn't planned on needing financing but it actually saved us money and enabled us to get brand new appliances and open up our dining room area as well as remodeling our kitchen. For the first time ever, we hosted thanksgiving dinner at our home this year and our children have a quiet space to do their homework. We couldn't be happier with the results, and Out project manager Tom was great. our overall experience was enjoyable and Tom did a great job making sure that work started and ended on time each day. we really appreciated how clean and organized their crew was, Tom made sure everything was cleaned up and put away before each work day was over. They took the stress out the entire process of remodeling which has given my wife a new found love for interior decorating. Now, We are gearing up for another big project after the holidays.
