    I found Horizon Construction on the Houzz app after several attempts to connect with a few other contractors. I sent an email on a Sunday and got a response the following Monday. The great communication with Horizon continued through my entire project of a complete remodel of my kitchen, guest bathroom and walk in closet. They also installed all new windows and tile flooring. My project manager was David and he was the best, made himself available to me for all of my many questions and decisions even while he was on vacation!     Tried all troubleshooting recommendations in owners manual and nothing worked. Slight delay in scheduling as problem happened on a Friday afternoon, as usual! Scheduled 2-4 on Tuesday, but tech called to see if could come early. Diagnosed the problem as a stopped up air gap and was done and out in 15 minutes. Even got a senior discount!

    My oven was not heating what so ever so I called Thunder Tech Appliance. I spoke with Jesse and he explained to me, over the phone, what the issues could have lead to my oven failing. I felt confident in his over the phone diagnostic so I scheduled an appointment. Jesse was on time and really friendly and friendly to my dog. Right away, Jesse ran a few test to see what was failing. Turns out my oven ignitor was shot and needed replacing. Luckily, he ordered the part and came back the same day to do the repair. Thank you Jesse for your professional service and excellent pricing.

    Air still seeping into freezer contacted company twice and no call back. Part was suppose to be in on Tuesday tech was to arrive at 2pm. At 230 I had to call and get status. Was told part didn���t come in and they will be at my home on Wednesday, they arrived Wednesday at 150.

    Had to pay for them come out to diagnose the problem. That's the only thing we didn't like. No free estimates. We were told up front, but they couldn't fix the problem, had a problem finding the parts needed. No refund whether they could fix the problem or not. As far as using them again is a question mark.

    .Serviceman .identified cause as a broken heating element in a Kenmore Dryer. He did not have the part and said Sears did not have it in stock. He charged me the $99 fee and directed me to possible other sources for the part. When I got part I called Sears to request installation. First I was told a serviceman would be there between 1 and 5pm on the same day! I was elateted! At 4:30 I received a call from the serviceman saying she could not make it until after 7pm. This was not acceptable.. When I tried to reschedule the next possibility was ten days out. I cancelled the appointment and will never use Sears again..

    Our 8 year old Samsung washer broke and after my husband replaced the seal himself it was still leaking and vibrating and was clearly not fixed so we called in an expert. Since the washer is in a rental property and our tenants had already been out of a washer for several days we decided we'd hire whoever could make a same day service call. We were not disappointed, Mr. Appliance immediately sent Matteo out to have a look. He was very thorough and professional and I appreciated that he was on time since I had to go meet him at the rental unit to let him in and wait. He determined that the seal or my husband had done had not failed but the shocks were shot and the tub was most likely what was causing the leaking and needed replacing as well. My husband and I decided to buy a new unit since the cost to fix the old unit was going to similar but it was good to get a quick answer from a professional. It was worth paying the $85 service call and in fact if we had done initially it would have probably saved us the $60 we paid for the seal. Next time we will probably just call them first.

    Have a 1984 condo with a small alcove off the kitchen for washer and dryer. Spent days shopping for washer and dryer to fit the space, Finally discovered flat back models and thought they'd be the answer. Washer OK, but dryer was still about a 1/2 inch too far out to be able to close the bifold doors. I found a periscope vent and J&D came out and made it work. Finally got washer and dryer up and working and can use them without removing the bifold door each time. They even came back to add extra tape to duct work to keep excess air from escaping. They really do, as their website said, take time to get the odd job done right.

    I called and was given an appointment that same day. Peter showed up promptly and fixed the problem quickly and knowledgeably. And for a fair price. I was very satisfied with the service until I noticed that the front door of the stainless steel refrigerator was dented in three places from being pushed into an adjacent countertop. I spoke with Peter about this and he said it wasn't his fault, that the refrigerator didn't have the necessary clearance. His answer is unacceptable for two reasons. First, I have installed and moved the unit several times without damage. Second, as a professional, he should have checked the clearance and either protected the unit, moved it very carefully, or not moved it at all.
