Despicable, unprofessional, untrained, slow and overpriced. 1st packer packed 5 boxes in 4.5 hours. These were not large boxes and upon speaking to Philip the owner we were informed the packing takes longer because of double wrapping of dishware. He also claimed his packers should average 5 boxes per hour and so double wrapping in my estimation would be 2.5 boxes per hour and not 1. Two additional packers arrived a few hours late and the process did speed up. However, Discount Movers web site promises expert packing of antiques and electronics. As it turns out upon opening a few boxes after the fact, the Packers placed a monitor in a large box with no protective wrapping as well as a printer laying on its side with no protection. Another box had a brass lamp with a crystal shade that was placed on the bottom of a box with no protection. Another box had canvas paintings stacked with no protection in a box. We have not yet unpacked any other boxes. At $40 per hour per person, you would expect professional service as the company advertises. I phoned Philip the owner but he did not return the call and I then sent him an email outlining my complaint and suggested he provide a 25% discount but he did not respond to that request either. I could have found day laborers at $15 hour who would have performed better than the "experts" at Discount Movers.

This company are thieves! I am on the way to file a claim through in the court and will not leave this behind! Absolutely zero, and i mean zero zero zero customer service and understanding of how to run a fair business. After giving a closer look on what had happened and the condition Champion Movers executed our move, I am undisputedly confident that this was by far the worst customer service I had encountered in my entire life. I was able to analyze the setting of the move, work of the drivers and the team on the first attempt of the delivery, misleading information provided by different members on different stages of the job, miscommunication between members of the company's team that directly affected me a customers and lead to a lose of significant income and , of course, the theft of all most valuable items directly from the boxes. We estimate (without any exaggeration) value of stolen items beyond 13,000$ and similar value of broken furniture/items. In other words, the damage to me and my family that Champion Movers is 100% responsible for is over 20.000$ in a very low and fair estimate, not calculating moral losses. We had to involve police to make a proper report and list of stolen and damaged items. Here are just SOME of the issues while their "service": 1)Estimate and “final” balance. During the initial talk and giving the representative an inventory, she estimated the cost of moving at 3040$. I gave a detail and well described list of the things we are moving. Once the items were loaded on the truck it turned out that if I would go with the same binding estimate that I agreed on the cost of move would be close to 5500$. Estimate was made by pick up driver considering “weight” and space on the truck. I was advised to go with non-binding estimate that was couple hundred dollars less. Those estimated were done after the truck was loaded. So how is that possible that the same inventory I gave to your representative is now costing me almost twice more?! I was told by Tonya that I must have had much more items than I originally told. Absolutely and negatively not the case: we, actually, have decided NOT to take several furniture items and sold them before the pick up as we understood that those items will not be valuable at our new apartment. I have seen this practice between moving companies before- giving a very low estimate and than charging much more, it is extremely poor way of running the business. Sad that Champion Movers turned out to be practicing this approach. 2)”Shuttle” charges. I was originally told that if the large truck will not be able to find parking to load/unload near my home, movers will go and rent the small truck. That will cost me 500$ extra. I would not mind paying it if I see that loading on 18 wheeler is possible and smaller vehicle needed. This is EXACT conversation I had with your representative. I did my best to have the space available for the 18-wheeler to park during the day of pick up and guess what- a small truck arrived, basically by default. The driver even told me that they do not operate 18-wheeler trucks at all as they are just a small local moving company. Do you see the disconnect here? Why am I being charged 500$? The same situation with the delivery in California. No one ever tried to come on large truck- delivery was done by small local company that you sold the job to. Why was I charged for it? 3)”Exact” delivery date. I hired your company based one ONE and ONLY reason- you were able to guarantee exact delivery date that was Saturday (13th October) or Sunday (14th October). I paid my dues for exact delivery dates- 500$. If you notice those days are Saturday and Sunday. Weekend day that I chose to be available and trusted this company. I work in a company that required me to travel for work during week days. So, not only a fact that the delivery driver demanded money on Sunday at 7 pm (!!!!) while on the way to us, though I did pay full balance way ahead of time with the CC, he showed up almost by 8 pm unable to do the delivery at that hour as it was to late. He simply said that will re-deliever tomorrow and left. Here is what happened after: I have to call of work on Monday- think about loosing 400$ daily income. I have to cancel flight- thing about loosing another 500$ Hotel stay that night -200$ I call Monday morning (around 9 am) asking when I can expect re-delievery today and was told that dispatch was busy and will call me back. At around 3 pm I was informed that delivery is not happening and is coming on Tuesday (!!!!). I have to call of from work on Tuesday- think of loosing 400$ again!!!! Another plane ticket change- that was 250$. Hotel stay- 200$. 4) Broken items. Finally, with all the struggle, the items arrived. Once being unpacked I saw this: -Reclining chair (part of chair- couch and coffee table set)- base frame is completely broken, making chair unusable and unsafe, corners of leather couch and table from the same set have leather ripped of. -Two mirroring bookcases damaged inside and outside, scratched and shelves falling apart -Dresser with mirror (part of a queen bed and night stand set) has wooden base and legs damaged, making it unable to stand and open shelves, practically un-usefull. Both, the dresser and the nightstand have water damage on them. -2 large boxes with various items smashed -2 medium boxes had water or something like that leaked on that created mold inside and clothes unwearable. -frame box damaged with all the pictures shaded 5)Stolen Items. From box (Plastic crate, sealed with tape). We have a clear picture of it right before being loaded on the truck in Illinois(full) and another one taken during the delivery (almost empty, with the tape ripped off). -3 lap top computers -1 tablet -2 Movado Watches -2 MK Watches -Various Gold Jewelries -Pair of Leather Glovers Total value of stolen items: 13,000$ And now ---- after the claim through the third company about the damages i was offered 260$ to replace all the items. This company is a joke, For real.

I called Warren's after reading some reviews on Angie's list. They were able to schedule my move quickly. Claude and Quon arrived between the time period assigned for the move. Claude and Quon took very good care of my furniture and were able to move it without any damage. They finished the job an hour early and were very friendly during the move. The price for the move was reasonable. I highly recommend them and I would use them again.

They purchased the original management company that I was using for my Peccole Ranch condo in 2015. They have kept my unit rented, but communication is horrible with this company. They rarely return calls and emails. They owe me $355 in rental income after they changed accounting software this past spring (caused an accounting glitch) and refuse to sort things out. Do not use this company.

I recently used Champion Mover to relocate to OH. I was contacted by Summer, we went thru a list of my things and she gave me a price. The price was fair and the service was good. I will recommend Champion Movers to my friends and family.

I was impressed at the diligent follow-ups with the company--great sales follow-ups without being pushy, check-in prior to moving, and check-in after the move. The guys were friendly, and made our move absolutely painless. I'd definitely recommend this business!

Oasis Moving did a great job. My move involved disassembling two bed frames and reassembling one at the destination, plus various bookcases, dressers, and boxes. They did the whole thing in two hours, as predicted, plus they helped an upstairs neighbor carry a heavy delivery into her apartment. Thanks, guys!

I used Red Carpet recently to move my household goods across Vegas. Scott was the team leader and did a great job of taking apart the beds and outdoor tables, managing the crew of 3 other guys and then of course re-assembling all the furniture once we arrived. The entire team was very professional, took great care with all my possessions and I would definitely hire them again of I moved. Amy at the office was also very professional and accommodating with dates and times. Rates are not the cheapest but very competitive.

The two guys were on time, even with a GPS directions glitz. But they called to verify the address. They both were professional and took care with the moving. They worked quickly and efficiently. We would most definately hire them again and will recommend them.

I had hired two movers to assist me in moving my two story home into a single story. They showed up late and after seeing the items to be moved they said something about calling their office for a different quote and the next thing I knew, they were gone. Vanished!! I had to call friends to come help me since I was left high and dry. I then called the office and was told the I had cancelled when the movers showed up. I have never been treated so poorly by a company. Do not hire them!!!
