  • Things were fine for about 1 and a half years (though I saw only the PA for every visit except the first two, and I went monthly).  Then one day I showed up for my appointment but had forgotten there would be a drug test (they do them every other visit - and fyi, patient pays cash for them and they're $125 EACH) so I had used the bathroom right before I went.  I tried to leave a sample anyway, but it wasn't much.  I specifically asked one of the nurses if it was enough and he smiled and said it would be no problem.  The visit went great.  A week later I received a letter saying my drug test results had come back "inconclusive" and I was being fired from the clinic.  They said I should seek rehab and good luck.  No re-test, no phone call.  Nothing.  After a year and a half.  To me, that's seriously poor standard of care and it makes me very angry when I think about it.  So this doctor and his office cares nothing about their patients - if they did, they wouldn't run their practice like that.  Save yourself the trouble, go elsewhere.  Pain management doctors are a dime a dozen here in Vegas, find one that will actually care about you and your needs.

  • I had Epidural steroidal injections into the nerve roots of the spine. I had suffered through excrutiating sciatica pains for close to a year, and I decided to have the procedure.  The injections were done at Valley View Surgery Center and that was a smooth visit, no problems at all.
    Dr. Provider name locked. was excellent. I was 95% better immediately after procedure and I knew ahead of time that it might not last. Within one month the pain is back and I am back to where I started.  I don't blame the doctor, it's just something that happens. It was wonderful though, when the pain was gone for those 3 weeks.

  • Dr. Provider name locked. himelf was okay. The receptionist was not friendly to me, and one other patiant who arrived after me. Dr. Provider name locked. prescibed medication for me and I went to pharmacy and filled his prescription. When I took the medication it didn't work well at all. I had bad reactions to it. The main problem for me, was trying to talk to someone on his staff about what was happening to me with the medication.Over a period of 28 hrs, I could not talk to anyone except the operator and receptionist. They kept passing me on to an answering machine. Finally, I left a message telling "whoever" that I was cancelling my next appointment and finding a new doctor. Right after I left that message I got a "voice mail" telling me to call the office. No name or extension, just the same number(s) I had been calling all that time. The only satisfaction I got was another voice mail saying my appointment had been cancelled. To me, it's a very bad way of treating a patiant. I stopped taking the pills and am angry. That a potentially dangerous situation was ignored. No one can say that at least one of the many messages was not heard by the nursing staff. They have both my cell and landline to call. If they had left messages my phones would have recorded them. Besides, I was feeling very bad and was home all the time. Why can they send a voice mail but not call me directley? I sent fax's and an email to that office regarding all of this. But my thought is, the Dr. himself will never know anything about this mess. But, that's much the way it Provider name locked. 's, for most of Las Vegas medical, in my experience's. And, there is not really anything we can do about it..
