The crew was very professional, did their job expeditiously, and took care to install properly. They even had spray paint to corner nails and marks. Both Jeff and Ed did a great job, I especially appreciated, the company hired Veterans.

It went fantastically. The gutters actually look better than the wooden eaves that were a part of the house. Everything looks very clean and professionally done. The guys were on time, very friendly, and very helpful with questions. I recommend Perfect Home Products 100%.

Two men arrived and were quite arrogant and just off the top of their heads said the job would cost $400. for two extension downspouts on my townhouse, without even looking on the roof or measuring. They didn't even try when I asked about how that would look since it was on the front of my home. They just shrugged their shoulders and said that's it! I asked them what it would cost just to do one spout and they told me again, it was $400. whether they do one or two. That is the minimum cost of the company to do a project and it goes up from there when they start a job, in case there is additional work or materials needed. This company  is for the birds. How can they give an estimate without measuring and checking the drainage on the roof.

Perfect Home installed guttering for the garage side of the house. The price was fair and the work was done fast and well. The job was impressive enough that I've had them do 2 additional gutter drain projects. They are good at communicating with customers and their crews are courteous, competent, and professional.

We had our first appointment on September 10th, the person that came out was very friendly and seemed very professional. We told him some of our bad experiences and he assured us "we are not like that at all". He gave us an estimate for the work and said we would receive an exact quote that evening. We didn't receive the quote but he called us the next morning to tell us he was very busy but that we would receive the quote by the end of the weekend. No problem. However the end of the weekend came and still no quote. So we waited a couple of days and then my wife called again. The person was very apologetic, once again apologized and told us we were scheduled to have the work performed around the 8th of October. A week later we still did not receive a quote so I decided to contact him myself. Once again apologies and assurance that we would receive a quote at the end of the week. I actually send him a message to please confirm that we would receive a quote no later then Friday the 2nd of October, he answered "Yes you will". At that time he told us too that our project had been delayed until October 20th at 6:30 am. Friday October 2nd came and unfortunately no quote, in fact not a word from them. I just now (Tuesday October 6th) left a message again on answering machine and so far no response. Just today I received a message that they lost their fascia installer and would not be able to do the job.

    TLC Roof Services

I bought an Angie's list deal for a roof tune up and it specifically stated on the offer:

  • Complete roof inspection for one- and two-story homes: checking for broken, cracked, slipped and missing tiles
  • Refastening, re-nailing or repairing up to 40 tiles (tile replacement, if required, is additional)
  • Inspecting all plumbing or heating flashings: checking for broken or missing components, collars and caps
  • Resealing up to five plumbing or heating flashings
  • Inspecting all valleys for damming
  • Inspecting gutters
  • Hauling away roof repair debris
  • Other areas in need of maintenance will be brought to the homeowner's attention and an estimate for additional work presented

  • We had just purchased a home and knew there was some cracked tiles, so we thought this was a good way to possibly get them accessed or even repaired.  That did not happen.  First off they canceled on me twice.  I know things happen and I am pretty understanding about the whole thing, but the third time they came they came when it was good for them and not for me (I was still at work).  My husband saw the guy when he was coming home and he said there were a lot of cracked or damaged tiles, flipped through some pictures on his phone (at high speed according to my husband), then said he caulked around a vent and told my husband there was a lot of debris on the roof and my husband should go up there and get it (see above mention in deal that they would do that).  Then he said, "well you bought the Angie's list so that is all you get" and left.  He also claimed we would get an estimate to repair the tiles, its been 3 weeks, not estimate has shown up to date, even though I have roof repairs, they clearly don't care about getting my business.

Honestly, I didn't find these guys to be professional, they didn't seem to know their schedule day to day, I definitely did not get what I paid for.  My husband and I were also told that if we wanted tiles replaced we should just "go up on the roof and pull off a tile and take it to the tile place and get some" and if we did that we could have them replace the tiles.  Apparently as roofers they don't provide that or even go and buy the supplies.  Also no mention or attempt was made to repair any tiles, even though I know, from the photos on my home inspection, we have tiles on our roof with only small cracks.  We were also told to go on our own roof to haul away debris even thought he offer specifically said they would do that.

I don't like to give negative reviews, but when I am inconvenienced and do not get even close to what I pay for I feel it is justified.  I realize this was normally a $400 service and I only paid $149, but you offered the deal, I didn't talk you down or into, so if you don't want to do the deal because it wasn't worth the money, don't put it out there for consumers.

    AMERICAN BUILDERS
To begin with, I did not order this service through Angie's List, but feel that members have the right to know about this vendor. My Homeowners Association brought this vendor in to do work on one side of our back patio cover that was damaged by a tree on the HOA side of the property. The following is my experience with them.

I was given a date for the job to be completed. They were a no show with no call that they weren't coming. Then I was given another date that was changed again, then once again, no call for the no show on that date. The owner told me he would call me right back,
which he did not do. He would only text me from that point forward, after admitting that what was going on was ridiculous. After the 3rd no show, I was given another date and then informed that the materials weren't ordered, and then informed that the materials that were delivered were the wrong color and would have to be painted. I received a text saying "I'm going to paint your entire cover for free to make it all look perfectly new." When I went over to look at the finished job, I noticed that the middle section of the cover didn't look like it had been painted so I emailed asking about it and received a text saying "that's the best we are going to do for you."  When I spoke with the owner, I informed him that the only reason I asked about the middle section was based on his text, and once again he informed me that this is all that was going to be done and that he gave me a discount.
If you are looking for a company that has integrity and stands behind their work, this is not the one.

7-7-2015 **UPDATE** - I received another text from the owner late this morning, stating that there would be no charge for the work done. I had every intention of paying for the work, and appreciated the discount for the inconvenience, I just wanted to know if the work he promised to do ("painting the entire patio cover to make it look like new") was going to be done.

    Perfect Home Products
My husband and I called for a quote after reviewing other gutter installers. We came across Perfect Home Products, and decided to give them a call, and I'm glad we did.
Eric came out, gave us a reasonable quote - even offered suggestions about what types of gutters we should install. Eric was wiling to work with us, and was all about customer service and doing what the customer asked.
We were left with a pamphlet and a quote - along with a color selection. We called Perfect Home Solutions after we made our decisions, and set up an appointment; they were so willing to work around our schedule so we didn't have to take time off work - which was amazing !
The team came out to install, and they were prompt, professional, and took care to do quality work. We even made some last minute color changes (so the gutter and the downspount would match their respecitve places on our home), which wasn't an issue for this team. Our new gutter was installed in about two hours, and we absolutely love it --- happy customers!
    Thank you Perfect Home Products!

    AMERICAN BUILDERS

Adam was punctual in returning my call to schedule a quote, and he was punctual in arriving, he even called to tell me he was on the way; however, this is about all the good I can say. Here's how it went.

I told Adam that my husband and I wanted a five inch gutter along the back of the house, Adam was insistent on a six, and didn't even bother with acknowledging we wanted a five. He went on to say that we needed two downspouts for each end of the gutter; however, isn't the gutter supposed to run at a slight angle, so all the water goes out the downspout? If he were to install one on each end, the gutter would have to "bend" in the middle - right? In addition, I asked him why the six inch gutter - he informed me that it holds more water, and with the tile roof, a five inch gutter would have overspill, besides, both sizes run the same - so it doesn't matter --- maybe not to him, but it absolutely matters to me --- just saying.

Basically, he decided what he was going to do and charge by the time he walked through the back yard, and did what he wanted to  without any regard to our needs and wants. I let him run his show because it was very clear that he was going to do what HE WANTED, not what WE WANTED.

As the conversation progressed, Adam asked me how I heard about him. I told him via Angie's List. His response was, "That's funny, I don't subscribe to that anymore because I don't get the eight grand fee back for the year that I pay." My thought was, of course not, if you're conducting business like this.
