  • Summerlin Jewelers' service was excellent and the results were perfect! We got our white gold wedding rings rhodium plated and they looked great! Like they were brand new. I also got my wife's diamond ring appraised. I had requested it over the phone and forgot to give them all the information about ring. It was my fault, but despite my mistake they corrected the appraisal for me. I will definitely return for future jewelry needs. They were friendly, professional, and answered all of my questions.

  • The price was reasonable, there was nothing wrong with that. The price was cheap. The owner, which was such a fun guy, is very unprofessional. He made sexiest remarks at me. He didn?t do what I asked him to do with my purse. He ruined a $400 purse for not doing what I asked him to do. He literally did the oppose of what I asked him to do and then tried to talk me into why it was a better idea to do what he did. He told me that I was so pretty that nobody would be looking at my purse and that they would be looking at my face instead, as a way to explain his shoddy workmanship and trying to flirt his way around it, which I found even worse. 

    He sprayed paint on a brand new $400, Michael Kors purse. I asked him to fix the metal, to solder one of the metal pieces that had come loose. I asked him to solder it and he said, ?it?s not going to be the same color because solder is a dark color!? I said, ?I know that, I know what soldering is!? I said, ?once you do it I am going to go match the color gold, to get the correct color gold to touch it up!? The soldering is like this little tiny dot of metallic, of iron looking stuff on gold. I said, ?I would just get the right color paint and I will paint around that and I don?t think you would even notice!?

    He did solder it. He had soldered two places and one of the places had already came loose. It came loose like the first year, so he didn?t do a good soldering job. He took gold spray paint and spray painted the gold, the whole thing, not just where he soldered. What he did, I am sure is, ?oh here, I am just going to do this for her!? Then he spray painted it and then he went, ?oh, that doesn?t match the rest of the gold!? 

    So, instead of leaving it and saying, ?hey, I tried to help but it wasn?t the right color gold!? You?re are, you shouldn?t have messed it up!? He decided to cover it up by spray painting the entire thing gold, and maybe thinking I wouldn?t notice. He covered up all that brand new shiny gold that you get on a nice purse with cheap flat gold spray paint. It looked horrible, I flipped out! It was really, really bad, I was so unhappy.

  • I filled out the form online and scheduled a pickup. They came by during a time that wasn't listed as being available and wasn't the time I picked on the form without letting me know they were on the way, gave them my suit. I was asked when I needed it, it was Sunday, I told them I need it by Saturday. I was told this was easily doable as it usually only takes a few business days. Thursday rolls around, I haven't heard a thing so I email and get no response. I call Friday morning and I'm told that they'd deliver Saturday. I explained I needed it for Saturday, they say now they'll deliver it today (Friday), but don't give a time. Eventually I get a call telling me it'll be delivered in the next 20 minutes to an hour and to get payment. I provide credit card info over the phone. ~30 minutes later I receive a call and voicemail explaining my order was mis-routed and would instead be delivered between 4-6. As 6 approaches I've heard nothing so I call every number listed including the office manager cell number the provide no answer, as well as sending a text and an email. Eventually just after 6 I get an email saying someone came by and knocked and then left my suit outside on the door knob. I was home the whole time heard no knock and have a working door bell. Incredibly unresponsive terrible service. Takes way more time, effort, and hassle than it saves.

  • I am so pleased with my custom ring, made for me by Summerlin Jewelers!  My 83 year old mother gave me an old family 1 Karat diamond that she wanted me to incorporate with my simple channel set wedding band.  At my appointment with the owner, Larry Minden, I brought my widowed mother's and father's wedding bands to see if they could be used in the creation.  The final product is truly an Artistic Creation! The gold used to form the ring was taken from my parent's wedding bands and the diamond setting that was created enhances my original bands. 
    When I first met with Mr. Minden he recognized right away that the diamond was more that one hundred years old by the method the diamond had been cut.  I knew it was old but he could tell in an instant, and I value that type of expertise.  As a Angie's List member I also received an appraisal of the ring at no additional charge.  I highly recommend Summerlin Jewelers for any custom jewelry work.

  • I went in with my choir dress to get it hemmed. This is a fairly simple alteration. She wanted 80 dollars to do it. She complained that it was a big dress and that she didn't have enough help. So I went to a tailor and am getting it hemmed for 20 dollars

  • Outstanding service.  Fair price.  Merchandise was great as well.  I'm going back tomorrow to have the length of a curtain shortened.  Hopefully they'll do it for us. My wife and I love these people.

  • While traveling through the Orlando, FL area I noticed that my watch was not operating. I suspected it was a battery problem and went to Sam's Watch and Jewelry in the Fashion Square Mall to have the battery replaced. The associate examined the watch and indicated that the battery could be replaced and to check back in twenty to thirty minutes. I did so and the battery was replaced within the timeframe promised and the watch was once again operating. 
    Within a day condensation began forming in the watch. Since I was no longer in Orlando I was unable to return to the store to have it examined. When I returned home to Henderson, NV I took the watch to a local watch repair shop to have the watch examined. It was still working but the condensation remained inside the watch face. The local watch repairer took the watch apart and discovered that the gasket had not been replaced. He replaced the gasket and tested the watch which continued to operate and the condensation was gone.
    I thought Sam's Watch and Jewelry should be aware of my problem so on July 12th I called the store and spoke with Bryce. He was very nice and took the information. He indicated that he would have to discuss my concern with the owner, Sam Zarou and that he, Sam, would return my call. In a day or two Sam called and after playing brief phone tag we connected and had a chance to discuss my concern.
    Upon hearing of my concern Sam offered to refund the money for the repair. Despite my willingness to pay for the cost of the battery which was performing, Sam indicated that he would refund the total cost of the repair and did crediting my credit card.
    I must admit that this was excellent and unusual customer service especially since the customer was out of town and there was no chance for Sam to inspect the watch or correct the error.
    I believe your members can trust Sam Zarou and Sam's Watch and Jewelry store to do the right thing. Inadvertent errors are made in the course of business and it is a test of the integrity of the business to see how they handle those errors. Sam's Watch and Jewelry store passed with flying colors and deserve the support of your members.

  • They could not match the color of the elastic strap on a pair of dusty pink heels, so they matched it the best they could and replaced the strap on both shoes for uniformity.  It looks all right.   I didn't know where to get navy blue shoe polish, so I was pleased that they could spruce up my navy blue dress shoes with the correct color.  A favorite pair of sandals had lost a decorative piece of plastic, but they sewed it back on nicely.  I've returned to them now several times.  I'm glad to have found a good shoe repair establishment.

  • Color Glo (Serge) did an outstanding job repairing the reciner.  The entailed replacing a panel on the pillow back that was damaged by my dog sleeping on top of the back of the chair.  His back paws ripped two large holes causing the panel having to be replaced.  I love the recliner and probably could have bought a new one by adding dollars to what it cost to repair but I do not believe I would find one as comfortable.  Glad I did it.
    I liked Serge, the owner, as he was easy to deal with and has a nice personality.  Would definitely recommen his shop as the does quality work.

  • We've been working with Bonnie for the last few years with all of our uniform embroidery needs. We recently rebranded the property and needed to change all of our staff's uniforms. She helped us choose the shirts (sent several samples to us at no charge so we could pick out the right ones) and once we chose the ones we wanted, she embroidered them at a very reasonable price.  The quality of the embroidery is top notch. Highly recommend!
