    O.K. I just don't care for dealing with people who don't speak English...this makes me very uncomfortable, as I have had theft and damage in the past . However, I was willing to overlook this and attempted to make arrangement to have a monthly ongoing service but the price was not right for only 2 hours. Therefore, no deal. I am still looking for a trustworthy English speaking house cleaner(s) who will spend more than 2 hours cleaning a house. That is not enough time.

    The units are beautiful and the management and maintenance are top-notch. I'm really pleased with them as a company, GB (property manager) is a problem solver and is very understanding with great customer care skills. They also have security guards and a parking garage.

    Cornerstone Crossing apartments are a nightmare.  First, I had maintenance do repairs on my apartment and I gave them permission to enter.  I did not think I had any problems after that until I went into the private office of the Main Property Manager and saw a brass vase sitting in her office, and I picked it up and asked her where she had gotten that and she would not tell me.  I told her that is my grandmother's vase that has been in my family for generations and instead of trying to get answers for me, she started to holler at me and said " prove it"  I turned it over and said it is engraved.  I called the police and they did not want to pursue it due to the fact that the vase did not cost over 1000 dollars.  I always trusted management and the service providers that made repairs on my apartment.  All the handymen work directly for the apartments.  Because of this issue I went through my entire house and my storage room.  I never go in my storage room, but the handyman had to empty it out in order to change the hot water heater and I remembered that so I looked through the room and sure enough my up right dolly and flat dolly were gone.  I complained to the office and started talking bad about me in Spanish to their co-workers and they were saying racist things, however, they did not know I do speak and understand 100% Spanish.  All together my video camera was gone.  I opened up the box to my laptop that I purchased as a gift and the laptop was missing out of the box.  The Manager was rude and of course she was apart of the theft because I found the bronze vase in her office.  Nobody is allowed in her office, so she thought nobody would find it.  I opened the door and let myself in because it was so busy in there that I had to find a place to sit down.  Besides the theft..............I have gone 9 months without a working oven.  When I first moved in the handy man came and said he would order parts and he would come back and he never came back.  9 months later I still do not have a working oven.  The handy man said I will be here Sunday to replace the oven.  I waited all day on that Sunday and nobody showed up.  I went out and found one of the handy men on property and he said we do not have any ovens.  I asked him why he would let me sit all day if he never intended on showing up.  The Manager in the office now is Lucy and she is very rude. She recently had all of the apartments sprayed and if all the cabinets were not empty she said " oh well, if they are not all empty then you are not getting sprayed at all"  I told her that the apartments only gave 3 days notice and the elderly and handicapp could not get help to remove everything and she continued to say " oh well"  Lucy is very rude.  Lucy allows every ghetto, drug dealer, garbage to move in here.  If anyone wants to buy drugs, get robbed, this is the place that it is going on.  VIENNA PEREZ is the name of the manager that stole my belongings.  When I told her that I was going to the police she all of a sudden did not work for the apartments anymore.  Be careful.............VIENNA PEREZ may work at another complex.  The management would not allow me to get out of my lease unless I pay hundreds of dollars.  I am surprised at how unprofessional management is.  The manager should be nice to their tenants that are good and never cause problems, because we can live wherever we want, so if someone is going to be rude to us than why should we stay.  I tried to walk my dog and a bunch of guys asked me if I was afraid of black guys.  I just kept walking.  The property manager is the worst and do not even try to get a call in to the property management company.  The Property Management company is in California and they do not take calls. The only way to contact them is through an email and the only response you receive back is we have received your email and we are handling the situation, yet nothing ever changes.  These apartments are also on a list that gives discounts to people who's company is transferring them or people who are going to school.  DO NOT PUT THESE APARTMENTS ON YOUR LIST.  I was surprised that there were not a large amount of Angie List complaints on, but the tenants here are low income people and would not spend the extra money to pay for an Angie's List subscription, but I paid the money just to warn everyone.  Please be aware before renting here........you will regret it.  Cornerstone Crossing Apartments/Prime Management Group...bad bad bad

    They are an upscale apartment living facility for independent living, meaning, seniors who are relatively independent and don’t need assisted support.  It is an apartment complex like a regular apartment complex but it caters to seniors.  You have to be 55 and relatively independent in the sense that they don’t provide medical assistance.  They just provide a social environment something like a club house where they do activities but after that everybody goes back to their apartment.  They charge $12.75 per month and that was a negotiated number.  They have different size apartment and each one comes with a different price tag.  $12.75 is a middle price.  I think there something a little bit lower and something a little bit higher.  The initial impression is an A.  Everything is relative, I mean, there are other facilities of this nature that will cost multiple that but include a number of things but for its category it’s an A.  As far as we know, we will know more after she moves in.  There are other properties in town that are similar that cost significantly less, up to 30 percent less and they are somewhat similar, a little bit less luxurious but similar in substance.  For us we decided to pay more only because it is close to where we live like I said, it is a couple of miles.  It would be easier for us to be closer to her; it would easier on us to her more often and all that.  The expectations and what we have seen in terms of visit, inspection, discussion, first impact with the staff, cleanliness, programs that they provide, assistance to driving to grocery stores, and various entertainments, all that, on paper would be an A.

    I filed a complaint with the BBB, the Better Business Bureau. I filed it against the property management Company - Ovations Property Management Corp. manages San Croix Apartment Complex. To date they have not responded to my BBB complaint. The BBB did accept my complaint and submitted the complaint to Ovations Property Management for a response. They did not even bother to respond, I guess they have nothing to say, no excuse for taking $4,000 from me for living in a pest infested apartment for 14 days.

    UPDATE:

    They finally replied to my BBB complaint and lied, same as they have done here, saying that I did not have them spray. I did have their pest control spray, and it is in their records. I did not slander anyone, and did not do anything wrong. I had to get out of there due to a horrible pest infestation and it cost me about $4,000, and to this day, I am still dealing with the pest problem they created for me. they simply lie and say I did not let them spray, it is not true and their own records will show they did spray. Also, their records will show they did have to replace my front door lock as someone broke it and I could no longer close my door, all this in just 14 days of living at San Croix, and San Croix put a letter on everyone's door when I first moved in saying they are having a lot of crime problems, then 5 days later my front door lock no longer would lock. they simply lie that I must have spent all that money to get out of there for some "other" reason, they lie that I did not let them spray, they lie about everything, and you can look at other people's reviews in Apartments.com and see other people saying San Croix has roaches. One lady even took a picture of a roach and posted it. And, I said they accuses me of lying that I had to clean the apartment up, and here a man who posted on Apartments.com said the same thing, that he had to clean up from the last tenant. Yet they call this slander. I have not lied about anything. I paid them money on top of money in order to keep my credit in good standing. And, Kenny who works at San Croix did tell me that he looked up my forwarding address to find both the name of the complex I was moving to and the name of the property management company and Kenny told me "Camden is a good property management company." Why were they looking all of that up if not to try to prevent me from moving there? I did NOTHING. This mess has cost me about $4,000 and six weeks later I am still having to use RID and other products to keep getting whatever it was that was in the carpets at San Croix off of me. That company is horrible, they are lying.
