  • He cut the cabinets and ended up having to rebuild cabinet fronts at his shop because the old ones were in bad shape. He was back the next day with them and they looked great! Thanks Provider name locked. !

  • Overall, our experience with Provider name locked. warranted an A rating.  I contacted him in October after developing a list of handyman-oriented projects following our move to a new house.  We were able to arrange a time to meet within a few days of the initial contact to review our list of items. He was backed up with other projects for about 7 weeks at that point so I agreed to pay him a deposit to book him for 6 days in early December.  Though I had some internal reservations about the need for that length of time to do the work (he charges by the day for his labor) I was impressed with his obvious attention to detail and focus on quality, plus the fact that he worked alone and clearly took great pride in his work.  Also, he took care of our highest priority item, the installation of a basket on the tiled wall of our shower, that evening.  That was certainly unexpected and a very professional touch.
The week prior to starting the work, Provider name locked. contacted me as previously agreed and we arranged to meet again to review more specifics of the various projects and agree upon the needed materials (which he estimates and collects payments for separately, then provides all receipts).
In terms of the work itself:  Provider name locked. worked in our home from from Monday through Sunday.  This was one additional day than we had originally agreed to because he ended up painting the interior of our garage, which had not been part of the original bid.  Even with the additional day, he did not have sufficient time to install two floor outlets that had been included in the bid and I agreed to forego those given his need to move on to other projects.
My assessment is that Provider name locked. works quite slowly but clearly delivers a very high-quality finished product.  The wall shelving he built in our garage looks like it is part of the construction.  The shelving in our basement storage area is sturdy and solid.  He focuses on the most minute details (caulking seams, filling screw holes, etc.).  In hiring him, you pay for that meticulousness, which I appreciated but does make his services expensive.
We did have one development during the week that I was not pleased with.  At the conclusion of Friday (day 5), I was concerned at the slow pace of the work in the garage and that work would not be finished by Sunday, when I was leaving town on business for eight days.  Provider name locked. himself appeared to be frustrated and a bit stressed over his progress.  On Saturday morning, Provider name locked. 's wife showed up at our house to advise us that he had contracted a fever Friday night, had not slept most of the night and would not be able to work on Saturday.  Shortly thereafter, I texted Provider name locked. telling him I hoped he felt better soon and to let him know we would need to talk Sunday about his plans to finish the work given my absence.  He texted me late morning on Saturday to let me know his "hands were feeling better" and that he would be there by midday to keep working.  When he arrived, he explained that he has carpal tunnel in one of this hands that occasionally gives him trouble and prevents him from sleeping.  He went on to work until about 8:30 p.m. Saturday night and 3:30 p.m. or so on Sunday to finish up.  Though the work ultimately was done, I did not like the fact that we got conflicting stories from his wife and him as to why he wasn't able to show up on Saturday.  Notwithstanding the high quality of the work Provider name locked. completed, for this reason I would not use him again in the future.

  • Hossein and Provider name locked. were great! When Hossein said he would be there (to provide a quote or perform work) he showed up. He was timely in providing a quote and the cost was reasonable. They understood our timeline for getting the work done quickly and made us feel like we were a priority even though we weren't having huge work done. Whenever Hossein worked with us on determining the job / getting quotes he was so helpful not just in advising on work we requested done, but also in providing suggestions / providing expertise on other items we should think about. Throughout our interactions on getting the quotes and actually performing the work it was apparent that Provider name locked. is not just there to collect a paycheck and move on but to form a lasting relationship - and they've done that! We will be looking to them for our future remodeling needs.
