  • On July 11, 2018 I asked to be scheduled for aeration and reseeding of my lawn and asked for a date at the beginning of September. I did not receive any answer so I followed up on July 29th. I did receive a quote back on July 30th which I accepted. I never received a commitment for a firm date so I contacted the company again on August 27 to inquire when they would be performing the work. I received an email back the same day that my scheduled date was September 21st (there was no communication of this date until I asked). On September 21 nobody showed up and nobody called to cancel. When I inquired why nobody had come (or called to cancel) I was told that they had delays due to bad/wet weather (interesting given that there had hardly been any rain this summer). I was told that my new date was October 2. On September 30 I received an email confirming the appointment for October 2 and was asked to confirm my appointment online which I did. On October 2 nobody showed up again and again nobody called to let us know. When I called today (October 3) I was told that their machine had broken down and that they had rescheduled me for October 8. At this point in time it was getting too late for the grass to grow (last year they had aerated and reseeded my lawn in mid-October and nothing grew - a complete waste of ~$1,000) and I canceled (who knows whether they would have shown up on October 8?). As one can see, my comments/experience are in line with a number of other comments - the company is not sticking to deadlines and does not believe communication/heads-up about appointments that they will miss to be important.

  • This was the second year I used this services. I have never had more weeds in my lawn that I did this year. They didn't treat near the edges of my lawn at all, lawn is full of crab grass and other weeds. They came out twice for one particular service and still no improvement. I have to believe they never even applied the pre-emergent I paid for.

  • I called TruGreen to inquire about prices on their lawn fertilization services. I really regret doing this. They gave me a price similar to other places, but I decided ultimately to go with another place that day. Later in the day, I received 5 different calls from TruGreen trying to convince me to go with their services. One caller demanded that I let him know by the end of the day whether or not I wanted to hire them. Two hours later he called me to see if I had an answer for him. I told them to stop calling me, but they won't let up. Four days later, they are still calling me. I will likely file a report with Missouri's Attorney General to have some recourse.

  • All lawn services are consistently high quality. I am very picky about my yard and expect high quality work and they have never let me down. My lawn is beautifully maintained with professional equipment, and hard working guys in the summer. I receive many compliments on the condition of my yard. This is the best lawn service I have ever used, and I have never been less than 100% satisfied with any job they have completed for me. The prices for services are very fair and not overpriced.

  • It's fine. I currently get lawn service from them. It's working out okay. I have it automatically billed to my credit card. It's somewhere around $70, I think. The liquid application, I do not think, lasts as long as the granular. Because they use the liquid, they're out more often. Over a length of period of time, the application cost might be a little bit cheaper, but there's more applications per year, so it's more expensive. They respond quickly. If you're unhappy with something they try to make it right.?This is into the second year. I will probably continue to use them for the second year. I would possibly consider renewing with them, we'll see at the end of the year.

  • I have been doing business with Clint for many years now. I can always trust him to be fair, honest. and dependable. He doesn't try to sell you things you don't want. Always answers all my questions. He is always searching for better ways to maintain my yard. I am very satisfied with him and his work.

  • The only one I've used is Tru Green and I am dissatisfied with them. I canceled my contract with them. I was very disappointed in the money I paid and the outcome. I signed up for 6 treatments and they ended up coming out every month. They also sent out a crew to do over seeding and I forget what they call the other thing and that was almost $400. I still have weeds in my yard. The first thing I'd like to share and caused my concern is that I did set up originally with Kevin to have 6 treatments only, 3 in the early spring and 3 more in the fall. They actually did about 9 months worth of work and then they came out and did the over seeding. None of which I asked for. Now I paid them but trying to talk to them and say why are you coming out all the time. Their answer is when we call you, you can just cancel. Well I thought when I set up the contract, that was all taken care of. My concern is they get you to agree to a contract so to speak, none of which is ever put in paper. Then they send the people out more often than what you agreed to. 

    I paid for something I didn't get. They arrived timely. I never had to call them out. I never knew what time a day they were arriving.

  • We have used them several years now. They are here fifteen minutes. They are friendly, and do what they are suppose to do. They are cautious about leaving the gate shut. They just spray, put down the application, and leave. The office lady is nice and responsive, and works well with people.

  • Service tech said we were not home and we were. Service tech said he had sprayed and billed us for it but hadn't sprayed. Manager said he would come out and look at lawn but never called back. We were suppose to have aeration and reseeding in our plan but was never included. They have a lot of personnel and Management issues. We won't use them again.
