ANeighborhood Painting and Restoration, Inc.Ryan advises that he maintains two crews of actual employees (not subs) - one to do the prep work and another to do the actual painting. Both crews worked hard and the end result is entirely satisfactory. I obtained three quotes for this work and Neighborhood was the highest (by a considerable amount, in one case) but I chose Neighborhood based on Ryan's assurance that the work would be done right. ANeighborhood Painting and Restoration, Inc.5 star rating for an outstanding local company. Ryan, the owner, personally came by to estimate outdoor repairs of wood rot, damage and painting. During the estimate, he identified problems that other firms missed. Neighborhood's pricing was in the range of other bids but included more detailed work and custom building of replacement corbels which no other firm would do. The project lead for repairs and construction was thorough, communicated very well and was a true professional. The repair team included talented craftsmen who were responsive and a pleasure to work with. After a week of curing, the paint team came by and painted the entire house in 4 days. They were equally professional and competent and took real pride in their work. They too were responsive and very helpful. I enthusiastically recommend Neighborhood for house painting and repairs.- David S.

I recently moved to an older home that was in need of exterior paint updating that also has some needs for specialty wood work. I met with Ryan to review the needs of the house. He offered a clear, detailed estimate. Ryan's communication for my job was top-notch. The crew was efficient, detail-oriented, professional and courteous. They arrived and left at the same time daily and always left the property clean. Their workmanship is best I have ever had work on my home. The lead painter offered a few suggestions - that my unprofessional eye did not see - to make the project look even better. I am very happy with Neighborhood Painting Co. AYou get what you pay for and that is a lot! This the second home of ours that we have hired Greg Baker to paint. From the prep, tape, covering, carefully moving furniture, to the power washing, sanding, caulking, and the meticulous eye of Greg and his crew...its an amazing experience. Every night when they are finished painting, they are careful to be sure to clean up any trash, to blow off surfaces and restore the area to the way they found it. They are all hard workers and only stop to eat lunch. The work ethic is unmatched and the result is a paint job that we love and will last for years to come. Thank you Greg and crew!

DHosted 7 estimates and selected Stack, not the cheapest however Tom Stack seemed very ethical and knowledgeable about the business. First strike was telling me my house was power washed while I was home all 7 days and nobody was seen on either of my cameras. Second strike was telling me that my columns needed to be replaced and including that in the estimate but then to have the Supervisor tell me that our columns were so rotted, he could not nail to it. I advised that the bid included tearing out the old ones and rebuilding them....later tells me he was not going to charge me for "building new ones since the wood was expensive". The pillars were constructed very poorly. All of the knots in the wood have seeped through the paint. Strike three, back door never painted....when advised, he answered, "well the door was locked". Final strike, adding $2,150 to the final bill after I agreed to the written estimate from the President. Since this time, with NO Exaggeration, I have had 7 residents and 1 landscaper approach me for advice on the painting company I used as they were looking for a quality painter. If each job estimates to $8k, I hope the trade-off of $2,150 was worth giving up $56k in work. Very disappointed and as I advised the supervisor at my home, I will not recommend this company.

AMission Painting did a fantastic job on the exterior of our home. We had a lot wood rot and existing paint was in pretty bad shape, but they made the house look like new! We picked colors and within a couple hours they were already there power washing. The whole process only took a few days once I accepted their bid. They were great from start to finish. They painted all the way to the dirt/landscaping around the entire house and even painted a few areas that had never been painted before. We did have a change order based on some boards that were much worse than anticipated, but the owner was willing to work with us to come to an agreement on price and work to be included. They take pride in their work! I have received compliments from neighbors two streets away who I have never talked to before. I could not be happier and will only use them for my future painting needs and investment properties in the future.

AJuan responded same day for estimate (reasonable and clear) and began work sooner than orignally planned. He called to confirm and communicate time frames. He was organized and efficient. His work was excellant and he kept the area cleaned each day and at the end of his work. I will plan on using him again for some interior work when we need it.
