ADeano TileDeano tile did a great job of replacing the tile on our entry way floor and around the fireplace. The quality of workmanship was excellent. They are friendly, communicate well and conscientious about their work. I would definitely hire them again.- Mark T.

AKC Renovation ConceptsI am a little late in doing this review, but that only has served to enhance my appreciation for the fantastic job that Brandon Smith and his remarkable crew (Chris, Shane and Jeff) accomplished! No detail was missed (and many that were unnoticed initially), incredible collaboration and suggestions, obvious care and craftsmanship was exhibited with all aspects and stages of construction. Brandon beautifully finished my basement last year, so i knew immediately who would complete the remodel/restoration of my home this year.- MICHAEL D.

AJorge Jimenez DrywallWe hired Jorge based on the reviews I read on Angie's list and was not disappointed. He is a very hard worker and the tile that was replaced looks so beautiful we wanted to buy clear shower doors so it wouldn't be covered up. He cleaned up all the mess. We had a lot of drywall that needed to be fixed and he did an excellent job. The bathroom floors were installed last and also looks beautiful. We had some problems with two of the toilets and he fixed them also. We are also hiring Jorge to paint the outside of our house, so we will be leaving a review for that in a few weeks. He is very talented in his work and and shows up when he says. I thought a handyman could do these jobs. I hired two different ones, and neither one could do the work satisfactory. So glad I found Jorge. He isn't a handyman, he's a professional.- Leisa D.

ATaskman Home ServicesWhen my wife and I needed some bathroom repairs, we didn't realize how difficult it would be to find someone who is honest and competent. We initially went with a different contractor who did a lot of damage to our bathroom. Thankfully we found Tracy; he did a great job fixing the damage caused by the first contractor and provided services at a much better price. Work performed included tiling and bathtub installation. Importantly, he showed up when he stated he would and also worked evenings/weekends, meaning we did not need to take time off work to be present during repairs. We would recommend him to anyone needing home repairs.- Mark A.

DKC Renovation ConceptsWe hired Brandon and his guys to tear out a bathtub and replace with a tiled walk-in shower, new tile floors and new vanity. All went pretty well until the shower door install. We had ordered a barn door style shower door with one fixed panel and one sliding panel at a crazy cost of $1650.00 as they were custom (Brandon convinced us we needed them to fit the space correctly and to be happy with the look), clear with NO towel bars. What the installer brought was not at all what we ordered, it was kind of a barn door hardware, with two sliding doors with towel bars. We immediately called Brandon, who said he would check on it. He then sent us an e-mail with revised doors that would make the doors more like the ones we ordered, we compromised on the hardware since the holes were already in our new tile. We signed off on the new drawings and assumed he would follow through and order them, he has not. We have since found out from the vendor, Brandon won't respond to our texts, calls, or e-mails, that when they received the original order they told Brandon that model would not work for our shower configuration and Brandon, without consulting with us, ordered a completely different door. If he had shown us what they were suggesting we would NOT have ordered that style and would have gone in a different direction. So, to recap, Brandon ordered the wrong doors WITHOUT our input, he made the decision on how to spend our money, we are NOT happy and he is avoiding our calls, texts, and e-mails. Now we know that mistakes are made, however, a contractor with integrity would own up to his mistake and make it right. Brandon has NOT done this. We will never use or recommend him again.- Suzanne R.

FKenny's Tile & Flooring IncI went to the Grandview location to shop for tile. One of the employees was supposed to get me prices on the tile I had picked out and get back to me. I never heard from her (via phone or email), and I purchased the tile elsewhere. Months later, I called the store to inquire about a quote on my countertops (this was on 4/19/19). I spoke with Tara Atkins. While I was talking to Tara, I emailed her a drawing of my kitchen so she could put together a quote for me and she assured me she would email me a quote. I never heard from her. It would have been at least $6,000-$10,000 for the countertops alone. I guess they don't need customers. Don't waste your time here!- Anne M.

FMark's Tile ServiceTerrible service and quality, very unprofessional. We had several lose tiles in our home, so we hired Marks Tile Service. Given that he would not guarantee the work (per his own quote). We decided to fix ourselves the tile by using adhesive and only asked Mark to do the grouting. He decided to charge us more money that initially quoted because our using the adhesive. He and his helper worked only for a few hours the first day and returned a second day also for just a few hours; so overall, they spent less than 7 hours of work. I paid him the total amount he charged because I was at work and could not leave in the middle of the day. However, I tried Mike to come back to fix a very poor work. There are variations in color throughout the floor; uneven finish in several points and areas with holes and no grout at all. I asked Mike to fix it but he refused. He actually assured me in a phone conversation the color would even out over time... He would later say we had picked the color ourselves..! Why would we decide to have variations of color everywhere? Isnt that just common sense? We did trust his professionalism but we were clearly wrong. Did we also ask for lumps and unevenness? I have added photos that speak for themselves...- MIGUEL G.

ADeano TileDean and his team were excellent. He executed our vision for the project and provided professional insight and suggestions to make everything even better. He oversaw the project's outcome, ensuring great quality, and everyone on his team was respectful of us and our home. I appreciate how quickly he responded when communicating and that he completed the work promised on the agreed upon timeline. Even after work was completed and paid for, he was quick to respond to follow up questions. Fantastic value. Would definitely hire again. Thanks, Dean!- Lauren B.
