Appliance Repair reviews in Kansas City

  • Asked for the Model #, Serial # over the phone and brought the correct part with him (an oven igniter).  Verified the igniter was bad,  replaced with the new part and tested correct functioning in about 30 minutes.

  • The size of the opening was different from the former oven--the new one was significantly taller but not quite as wide.  the electrical outlet was all there, so they did not have to install electricity.  But the switch box was not properly marked, so they had to test to get the right switch figured out.  They did a fine job adapting the cabinet space to accommodate the taller oven, and making the installation look decent even though the new unit was slightly less wide.  They tested the unit, explained the operation of it to us, and left us pleased with our new in-wall oven.

  • RUN don't WALK AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!  After 4 frustrating months they finally fixed my ice maker Friday evening 5:30PM Oct-16th.   Part of the repair was a procedure I perceive as UNSANITARY.  The tech used his mouth to blow out the 4-5' water supply line that goes from the bottom front of the fridge up to the ice maker.  He continued to blow in the line for up to 5-8 minutes.  ALL THE WHILE I WAS TELLING HIM THIS WAS UNSANITARY.  His reply was "how do you expect me to clear it out"  I replied "canned air"  "compressed air".  I called the tech's office Monday morning and spoke with the office Supv Provider name locked. .  THE SUPERVISOR ENDORSES THE PROCEDURE OF THE TECH BLOWING IN THE TUBE WITH THEIR MOUTHS.  I requested Provider name locked.  come out and either sanitize my unit or replace the line and ice maker.  They flatly said NO.  I called the warranty company and spoke with a supervisor named Provider name locked. .  She agreed with me the the procedure was unsanitary.  I am currently working with the warranty company to get the repair company to sanitize or replace the supply line and ice maker.   I am also working with the warranty company to review their relationship with Provider name locked. and their repair procedures.   I'll let you know how this comes out.
