    Fulk Chiropractic
My wife went here today and was pretty disappointed. She was told the initial consultation would be between $49 & $79 depending on what what was done. She waited 20 minutes past her appointment time, was charged $168 for a consultation (no treatment or adjustment) including $18 for an icepack that was applied for 8 minutes, but wasn't given to her. They wanted even more for x-rays even though she just came in for a strained muscle. She left still in pain and won't be coming back.

    Massage Envy of Leawood
This location is the worst Massage Envy - do not go here. I've been a member of Massage Envy for about a decade. I started going to this location because it is near my work. Despite the fact that I continuously have weird issues (cancels, unable to get certain advertised upgrades, they forget to give water, etc..) the convenience to work kept me going. Tonight I went to this location in the same physical state I have been for 20 years. I have chronic back pain from 2 car accidents, anxiety, and I have only 1 kidney. When I saw the therapist today - her name is Lindsey - I instantly recalled that the last time I saw her I wasn't able to have aromatherapy and that she argued with me about what type of massage I wanted. (The last time: I asked for a focused deep tissue, which is what I always get, and she 'wanted' me to get a moderate full body because she thinks that is better. Ugh.) This time I again asked for a focused deep tissue on my knots and again, true to form, she argued with me for about 5 minutes why I shouldn't get a deep tissue. Apparently she believes that other people do better only getting deep tissue 'sometimes'. I reminded her that I know my own body and my needs and I stuck to my guns so she rescinded. I did mention, however, to go easy on my lower back because I was recovering from a Kidney infection and it's tender there. She then told me that people with kidney issues cannot have massages. ---Despite the fact that I've been getting massages for over 20 years and it's part of my health regimen---.She then told me to undress and she'd be back. I finally got comfy and ready on the bed and she came in and told me that she can't give me a massage. Her manager - JACKIE - who apparently 'owns' this location, stood by her anti-kidney stance and said that they have the right to choose to not provide services based on 'contraindications'. I understand that therapists have to be careful as they do have certain liabilities. However, they are not medical professionals and to lump one person in with an entire group of illness levels without any medical information and then refusing to provide services that I have prepaid for is bad business. I have reported this medical issue since the beginning of my membership. Massage has never affected me in a negative way... otherwise I wouldn't have maintained my membership for a decade. I asked Jackie for documentation of listed contraindications they refuse service for.... which she couldn't provide to me. She then said she will put notes in my account of my medical diagnosis. I had not given her a 'diagnosis' nor revealed details of my condition. Therefore, I told her she is not my PCP and I do not give her permission to discuss my health in the system when she has no understanding or knowledge of it. She told me that HIPPA gives her the right to make SOAP updates and she started to do it in front of me. She insisted to note my account so that other locations also would not provide me services. All this because I had a routine kidney flare up that I've managed my entire life! They didn't offer anything to compensate for my wasted time, they didn't offer any apologies. When I said it was a bad way of treating customers and I wouldn't be back she said "I'm sorry you feel that way" with about as much care as a piece of lint - which is not an apology. I called the Plaza location and told them about my experience and they were furious and plan to call Jackie's 'co-owner' because that's not how the brand of Massage Envy is supposed to treat people. They also said they will happily provide me with services. Amazing how Leawood and Jackie treated me like a leper yet the Plaza is happy to help me. Don't go here!

The Spring in Winter Massage LLC
Working with Elise is fantastic. I tell her where I feel like work needs to be done, she actually listens to me and she listens to what my body tells her. Unlike other massage therapists I've tried, she doesn't have a "routine" she follows. Every appointment is a different experience all because of the attention she pays to everything.

    Hilton, Dr. Richard L.
I have gone to Dr. Hilton periodically over the past few years.  Treatments usually require several visits but I don't feel pressured to sign up for a lengthy treatment program.  I have found his treatments to be more beneficial than other chiropractic treatments that I have tried.

Calvary Lutheran Church and School Wornall
They should be there when they are supposed to be open. They are open on time but they are inconsistent on who we are supposed to get to off with. There's never all over the place drop offs in the morning. Sometimes, it's in her room. Sometimes, it's somebody else's room. They are very loving to all the kids. They get very attached to the kids. They take good care of them.

    Alpha Chiropractic Center
My problem is more muscles than bones, so the massages are what have been the best part. Dr Cobb has 7 or 8 masseuses and I found the perfect one for me after awhile. It took me a lifetime to reach the stage of needing a chiropractor, but after two months I feel much better and will continue to go until I feel the best I think I can. If you need a chiropractor  go see Dr Cobb.

    Alpha Chiropractic Center
At Alpha Chiropractic I'm always welcomed as a friend as well as a patient.  Dr. Cobb is genuinely concerned about how I'm feeling and about any pain I'm experiencing.  When I'm on the table she thoroughly assesses my alignment and performs adjustments that have dramatically improved my quality of life.
She has a great team of massage therapists.  They work closely with Dr. Cobb and together they figure out how to optimize the care I receive.
The location is easy to get to and there is good parking available.  Lorene at the front desk is very nice and extremely efficient.

    Murray, Dr. Brianna

Dr. Brianna took x-rays  of my neck and spine before she ever did any adjustments, rather than just blindly trying a "shot gun effect". I've been getting treatments from Dr. Brianna three times a week as she prescribed. At the end of three months, we'll re-evaluate and probably continue at twice a week for two more months and re-evaluate again. I know this may seems like a long time, but for the last 30+ years I've been told I could not be helped, that I would continue to deteriorate physically until I needed a wheelchair, and that there was no help for the pain!

After barely two months, my pain is all ready much less! I am regaining some flexibilty in my low back and hips, which I haven't had since the mid 1980s, after a spinal injury! This enables me to walk easier and less painfully, and to sleep better because I can get more comfortable at last. I am not expecting to ever be 100% like I was before the injury, but I expect to be MUCH better than I have been for the last 30 years! And to be able to get off multiple drugs as the pain lessens. THAT is worth everything to me!! I can hold my grandson on  my lap now!

So if you've been told over and over that there's no hope, no chance to ever feel better, or to get off multiple medictions, that you'll eventualluy become so disabled you'll need a wheelchair -- DON'T BELIEVE IT!! If I could have found someone like Dr. Brianna years ago, I could have led a much easier life, with so much less pain. Don't just accept these awful predictions, go see Dr. Brianna!

She can probably help you too. You have nothing to lose but pain, meications and health problems! She is the BEST help I've found in my life, and could be for you too!

    Murray, Dr. Brianna

She took a VERY thorough history, which included severe trauma from an abusive ex-husband. For 25 years I've been told tere was NOTHING that could be done except to depend on pain killers. Dr. Muuray  thoroughly explained what was causing my pain, what we needed to do to correct the problems and exactly what the costs would be. After 3 visits, my pain began to ease, I can walk with much less pain , I can lean over again and I can sit much more comfortably! Things I'd given up hope of ever experiencing again! I fully expect to continue to improve. It's going to take some time, 3 times a week for 3 months, then twice a week for 2 months, the re-evaluation. Eventually I'll be on once a month maintanance! Finally somebody is treating the CAUSES of my problems instead of only the symptoms. Dr. Murray treats the whole person, the whole body, to restore your health ad lifestyle. I cannot praise her enough for the help she's giving me! So if nobody else is helping you, or they're telling you nothing can be done to help you, then call Dr. Murray - I'll bet SHE can help you!!

    Spencer, Dr. Jeffrey
He is very good. He works with you on what your issues are. He's gentle and explains everything very well. He really cares about his patients; he takes his time with each patient. He's helped me tremendously -- he's wonderful. I typically wait 10 minutes at the most to be seen when I arrive.
