    Goldwasser, Dr. Steven E
He is one of the best that I have ever gone.  He was thorough and gentle.  He has an excellent bedside manner.  He took care of my problem.  He was great.  I appreciate the people in his office.

    Mayo Clinic
It was an outpatient procedure that took half the time scheduled. I was there all day with post op care.
    It went very well.
I receive all my medical care at Mayo. Primary care, nephrologist, urologist, hematologist, and sleep doc. All are excellent. It is the best, most comprehensive health care I have ever had. Their medical records are such that each physician knows what the other is doing, and I have almost total online access to these records.

Dr. Williams is an outstanding Urologist. As a woman he puts you at ease and explains everything going on with you very well and professionally. I have been to several urologists in this area, and found Dr. Williams to be excellent. His office staff is very helpful and pleasant.

    Pruden IV, Dr. Charles H.
Dr. Charles H. Pruden IV apologized for his office being very cold and he said they had to keep it that way to kill the germs. He had a female physician and she was tagging along and he wanted to give me a prostate exam because my PSA was so high and all I had to do was look over at the woman and she offered to leave. I didn't have a problem getting an appointment. The staff was very friendly. The doctor was very professional.

I am in the middle of changing jobs so I called them to find out how quickly they can get me in and how much my procedure would cost. I spoke to the lady at the front desk and she was really snappy with me, without any notice she put me on the phone with the Urologist and he entered the conversation being snappy. I wanted to find out the financial information, I know for some optional medical procedures the consultation is free and I wanted to know if this was the case so I knew how much money to bring with me. I also wanted to know if they require money up front or if they billed the insurance and then sent me a bill for the balance. Apparently these question are to difficult to answer and they were both extremely rude to me. Needless to say, I am not going to my appointment and I will not recommend anyone to go this way.

I was very pleased with his services at that time. My experienced with him and his staff were fine. They were punctual and friendly to their patients. They provided me with much care. I would use his services again in the future if need to.

Dr. Williams went over my recent PSA test results which were much better than in the recent past. Discussed his views on recent recommendation by US Preventive Services Task Force to discontinue PSA testing for healthy men. He said that I should continue to have the test.

    McIver Urological Clinic
My appointment was the first one after lunch a 1:00 p.m. so I did not expect a long wait. I had to wait 1 hour and 15 inutes to see Doctor Lewis. I found out that my slot had been double -booked on purpose, plus a third a (unscheduled) patient was worked in before me. I have never had to wait les than 1 hour to see Dr. Lewis, and this was the last straw., so I asked for another doctor in the clininc.
Dr. Lewis was defensive and unapologetic about his tardiness. He stated that his style of practice involved spending ample time with each patient, and interrupting his schedule to work-in folks that are very sick. He said others in his practice have a better on-time record, but tend to spend less time with each patient. (I had not been under the impression that Dr. Lewis ever spent more than the minimum time with me.) He did not comment on the deliberate over-booking.
Dr. Lewis does not come across as a warm, friendly practitioner. The term and quot;unnecessary roughnessand quot; comes to mind when I think of my last prostate exam.
The waiting room and exam room were both uncomfortably cold - enough that they caused problems with my sebnsitive cerevical spine.
I have been a patient of Dr. McIver and the McIver Clinic for 62 years.

Dr. Williams performed the necessary surgery and everything went even better than I expected it to. I had done a lot of reading and even watched the upcoming surgery on You Tube, so I had expectations. Everything was very easy actually.

Mayo Clinic is my primary care facility. The physicians are highly respected in their field. If you need a foot care specialist they are on staff full time. I would highly recommend the Mayo Clinic to my family and friends.
