AMy dog was happy and ready to go home but friendly with the staff. You can't ask for more than that from boarding. They made sure food, treats, and toys not eaten or chewed up were returned. They took good care of my dog Sydney. I have her booked for another stay in Sept. and I trust that Sydney will be well cared for and her needs met. I had her at their University Blvd, W location. They were nice to me, too. A great experience.

AMy lab loves to go and play at camp time during the day. He swims in the pool with his new friends. Always come back happy and clean. There are plenty of counselors that stay with the dogs when they are together. They also interact with the dogs and are very friendly.

BOur cat needed to have a workup done by the cardiologist. We had to drop him off in the morning. He was sedated and had an echocardiogram done. The issue came afterwards. We never received a call from the clinic that he was ready to go home. Finally we called at 5 pm and they said to come get him. When we did arrive, they basically were going to give us the cat and that was it. We told them we wanted to know what the results were of the consult. They handed us the written report by the cardiologist and told us Dr. Jacobs would call the next day. Dr. Jacobs never called. The written report from the cardiologist was not written for a lay person. We were fortunate that we are in the medical field and could understand it, but we are astounded that so little effort was made toward having us understand our cat's health.

FMultiple bad experiences, would not recommend. I have used this service a few times now and I am done. Most of the 1 star reviews about never showing up and being hard to contact are accurate and I can verify I experienced similar issues. However as a customer there are more problems. The price they quote and the price they charge are vastly different, by nearly 2x. The reasoning include one dog being 2lbs larger than the other dogs, or tangles that were never shown or explained. Additionally the extra charges were never disclosed, they just appeared on the bill! On top of that ever time I have used them one of my dogs has come back with a terrible cut that looks nothing like the breed should and the ladies that groom do not follow instruction or requests at all. I would recommend to anyone reading still to go to a Petsmart or Petco for grooming over this company.

DWOODLAWN BOARDING KENNELSI picked my schitzu up afterwards and when we got home I saw that he was leaving bloody paw prints on the floor as well as the backseat of my car. ABATH HOUSE PET GROOMINGI am fostering a dog named Danny and when I got him from the shelter he was very dirty and his skin was flaking. I called Bath House based on a referral from a friend who loved her experience there. They said they go by size for the price and Danny being a Beagle would be $18. But when the owner Rae found out I was Danny's foster she told me it was FREE! Wow what a great surprise! Rae said they love what they do...consider it fun and they wanted to contribute to Danny's fostering by offering this service to us. It's a cute location...even a pink fire hydrant out front; Danny happily went with them and when I picked him up he looked great and I could tell really enjoyed his experience. They were very casual about how long he could stay...said no rush we close at 5:30, I had left him off at 11. What a wonderful experience with people who love animals!- Amber G.

ABATH HOUSE PET GROOMINGWe saw Bath House on Angie's List and decided to give them a try. Our dogs were definitely in need of some TLC. I called and made an appointment for the following Monday morning. We arrived on time and the outside of the premises includes a pee station for the dogs before they go inside. We talked with the owner and were pleased to hear that they are a no discipline shop. This means that they do not discipline your pets even verbally. We left our dogs in their hands and they said they would call us when they were ready. Around 2 pm we got a call that the dogs were ready to be picked up. We picked up the dogs and they were very well groomed and bathed. Both of them smelled better and their thick coats had been cut down to make them more presentable. Both of them had bandannas that gave them a good smell. We will be making another appointment for them soon.- Jeffrey E.

ABATH HOUSE PET GROOMINGI discovered fleas on my cocker spaniel (to my horror) and tried to bath her myself. Fleas didn't go away, so I contacted the Bath House based on other Angie's List reviews since I couldn't get ahold of my regular groomer. They were very quick to respond and told me I could bring her the next day. I was very impressed with the facility and the staff. Easy parking and check-in was painless. You could tell that everyone really liked dogs. I dropped her off at 9 a.m. and was called at 1:30 p.m. for pickup. My dog looked great, and did not seem stressed at all which is unusual because she usually freaks out at places like this. The price was very good. If I didn't have another groomer I was loyal to, I would go back in an instant.- Daphne W.
