    If I could give them 0 stars I think I would. Not only was my moving experience awful, but then I emailed (my form of communication every time I have spoken with this company) regarding the awful experience they didn't even bother to contact me to discuss. I hired this company based off the reviews they have on Yelp as well as Google which I am now convinced the good one must be fake. I have moved 10+ times and hired moving companies in Jacksonville for the last 5 of those moves. Some have been great and some have been terrible. This company was by far the worse out of the now 6 moving companies I have used in the Jacksonville area. They broke SEVERAL of my personal belongings during this move including destroying my dresser but rubbing it on it's side across the concrete instead of carrying it like they should have. They broke the two legs off my couch instead of taking them off. They ignore glass and fragile written on boxes and stacked several boxes on top of the glass filled boxes on a dolly crushing those boxes. Their "crew leader" Wayne was screaming childish obnoxious things outside not only my old house but my new house as well. Was smoking inside the truck with my belongings, WHILE unloading my belongings and all the way up to my open front door where he would drop his cigarettes to enter my house. He left said cigarettes in my driveways and I graciously paid him while he took 15+ cigarette breaks, and even more resting breaks in general causing a 3.5 hour moving job into almost 5.5 hour moving job. I dismantled all furniture myself before their arrival, placed all items as close to the exits to the house as possible making their loading process quick and simple. I only asked them to place the furniture in the proper rooms everything else they unloaded into the garage (most shouldn't be in there) and in the dining room. Unloading a truck usually takes 1/2 the time as loading the truck. Not with this crew it took almost as long to unload as it did to load. Their crew leader Wayne continuously fought with the other mover Travis (who did most of the work himself) most of the time they were at both my houses constantly calling him a "F*cking ******" which is beyond unprofessional. I would've hope that the company would care enough about the complaint and the unprofessional behavior and all around terrible service their company provided to me since they have been servicing the Jacksonville area since 1985 with A+ rating (HA), but since they have yet to reach out to me even when I provided some pictures of the damage done they do NOT care at all that your stuff gets broken, their employees are unprofessional and you are paying for amateur movers at experience (more than experienced) movers rate. I will be contacting the BBB to complain if they are even still listed with them as well as filing a dispute with my credit card company to at least attempt to recover some of the damages since I was charge more from this company for the worst service than any other movers I have ever used. DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS~!!!! YOUR STUFF WILL NOT MAKE IT TO YOUR NEW PLACE IN ONE PIECE. They lied on google review and stated not only that I was spoke with but they compensated me for the employees mistakes. This is not true at all they did contact me the day I wrote the reviews on different platforms and filed a complaint with the BBB and stated they would look into and get back with them. I still have not heard back from them and they have not reimbursed anything for the damages nor have they discussed compensation. This is not a good company and there are many other reviews with people stating they were overcharged and items have been damaged.

    1st Coast Express Movers, the best. We are a 27 plus years military family, moved several times in 27 years. Where does one find such polite young men? At 1st Coast Express Movers of course. They came out looked at all needed to be done and provided an estimate. Streisand sent the estimate in writing. They were on time and very professional. We had two large trucks and four polite young men. Who packed everything and were very careful with all of our items and furniture. Today I opened the last box, so I can say all items were undamaged. Not one broken item, it did take us quite a long time to unpack everything. We had them place many of the boxes in the garage. We moved from a very large house to a smaller house. They packed for two days and drove the next day for four and a half hours, then unloaded everything and setup the furniture. These men are very hard working men. One of the polite young men was kind enough to drive my car down from Jacksonville to Polk County with me so I did not have to. My husband drove our other car down. Thank You Streisand and Akeem not only for great service but overall kindness.

    Joe's Speedy Delivery
    Joe and crew were on-time, friendly and worked fast. Caught Joe about to drag my heavy desk, and explained that's how the last mover (AMS) broke the matching desk. Paid cash, no receipt. I threw in a extra $20 because I thought it had gone well. After they left, I found a TV sitting atop the MBR bath sink and gouges in my oak coffee table. I politely left a couple of phone messages and texts that Joe refused to respond to. This outfit is great for moving washers/dryers/fridges, but don't trust them with your fine furniture. Any outfit that won't respond to a customers legitimate complaint isn't ready for prime time. What the heck Joe? Caveat emptor.

    The first part of the move was great - sales guy was very professional, movers were great - no issues; during the second part of the move, there was an accident and 1 of the movers broke my glass desktop (the desk that I use for work - I have a home office and required to be able to work from home). It was an accident and I was not angry at all - because the experience so far had been great, I had no reason to believe that there would be issues with the replacement glass. I was wrong. My move took place 26 days ago and I still don���t have the replacement glass - I���ve sent text messages to the Ops manager on 6/7, 6/14 and a call to the sales rep on 6/17, which he referred to the Ops mgr again, and the final text on 6/17 - I was advised that I would have the glass by week���s end - no dice! Not even a courtesy call to apologize for another delay. Did I note that this desk was used for work? I did not withhold payment to Lighthouse, never was angry, rude - all interactions were pleasant. But this matter has reached a point where I have no further tolerance for poor customer service - they could have credited me for the glass and walked away! This was a $2,000+ move, and they got every penny on time!

    I needed a company that could move all my belongings (no furniture) across country from California to Florida. Not knowing where to start, I called a moving company that told me quite candidly that they had a minimum rate of $2,500, and I would do better off calling Ship Smart. I called Ship Smartand they explained everything to me so I chose them to move me, and I was so glad they did! I packed 12 boxes (some very large), and after I moved everything was delivered to me on a pallet. Upon unpacking everything I found that NOTHING WAS BROKEN OR DAMAGED whatsoever! Even priceless antiques were unscathed and arrived just as packed! I cannot thank Ship Smart enough for their exceptional service!! Although I hope to never move this far again, if I did, I would 100% make Shp Smart my mover of choice!

    It went pretty good, but they broke one of our pieces of furniture and the supervisor tried to fix it and seemed pretty upset when I asked if his 'fix' didn't hold what should i do. We also had a bunch of shelves missing from our cabinet, but they did cover the cabinet. We didn't claim the broken piece, it just seemed a little unprofessional the way he reacted.

    Two Men & A Truck
    Let's see if they delete this review. I was scammed by the Jacksonville, FL team. If their phone number is 904-745-0705 DO NOT USE THEM. They quoted me a move from a 3 bedroom condo to a house in town for $2645 which included packing, boxes, loading ONE truck and off loading to my new house. Day one, they packed everything, and all went as expected. Day 2, after the same guys spent 4 hours or so packing my belongings and going into mid day of the loading, they tell me that they need another truck/crew in order to finish the job. Of course, I'm in a bind as I have to vacate the condo I had just sold, so they got me with what ended up being another $1,000 I was not planning for. To make things worse, they damaged one of my TV's but said it wasn't worth anything and offered $100 "just to get rid of me" and it's been a month after the move and still haven't received the check... That's ok, I don't need it. So they are going to respond that the initial quote was an ESTIMATE.. understand that, but one of the kids that did the packing and came for the loading on day 2 told me that he knew and communicated the prior day that they were going to need more than one truck after packing. Reader be ware... Again DON"T USE THESE GUYS.

    Gavin and Cary were my movers...They were WONDERFUL! Very professional and amazing. They moved everything out of one location quickly and quickly into the new one. We all had a good laugh at how fast the elevator doors kept shutting on them. I highly recommend these guys to move you. They won't let ya down!

    STAY AWAY IF YOU EVER WANT TO SEE YOUR THINGS AND IN ONE PIECE!!! ......... I can't believe this ... I should've listened to the other reviews ... about 90% of my boxes were destroyed in ways I didn't even think possible, like SIDES completely ripped open. HOW DO YOU EVEN DO THAT?!?!?! .... Everything looked like it went through a hurricane. And I was told I shouldn't be using these boxes ... They're MOVING BOXES, that's what they're for, what the f*ck?!?!?! ... Lost the legs to my office desk, a glass top to my floor lamp, god knows what else. EVERYTHING has scratches on it. Workout equipment had giant gashes in the soft foam parts, completely scratched up my bicycle and coffee table. ALSO, BEWARE! They WILL try to f*ck you over. I wasn't there when they picked up my things, so EVERYTHING on the form was marked as "scratched" when they picked it up just so they don't have to worry about it. What a sh*t a*s company ... I hope they all go to ****.

    This was the worst move I've ever had in my life. I would not wish this moving company on my worst enemy. Blake came to see all of the items in my house several weeks before moving, he did a walk through and saw everything in my house. I informed him that I had a 5x10 storage unit full of totes and boxes that would be going on the move with us. I was transparent about everything. Prior to moving day, to help expedite the process, we took apart two of our three beds for them. They showed up on moving day around 11 as agreed and an hour into the move, I told him I was extremely concerned that the truck was too small and it wasn't going to fit everything. He assured me it was going to fit. I re-iterated this several times during the day, and was repeatedly assured it was all going to fit. At 5pm, I walked out to the truck, and there was about a foot left and I still had a lot of items left in my house and garage that needed to be packed. The people buying my house were going to be there in an hour for final inspection and I had to be out the next day for closing. Blake was standing there ... looking dumbfounded ... saying ... wow... it's not going to fit. No kidding.. I've been telling you this all day. At this time he informs me they will have see if they can try to get a second truck and that he will run some calculations to figure out how much additional it's going to cost me ( when this isn't even my fault that he didn't figure out what size truck he needed ). He left me with no options. He left me with zero time to get other quotes. I basically can't tell him to unload the truck because I have sold my house and have to be out that night, and he spent all day loading my stuff onto a truck that is too small. They showed back up a couple hours later and told me it was going to be an additional $2400 for the second truck .. which I had no choice but to pay ... to get the rest of my stuff. Fast forward to IN when my stuff is getting delivered. Movers start bringing things into the house. We notice that my mattress which I thankfully wrapped in a mattress moving bag, had water all over it. Mentioned it to the moving crew, and was ignored. Asked the movers to put anything that said garage in the garage. Anything that said Master Bedroom in the Master Bedroom, and anything that said Kitchen in the Kitchen. Anything other boxes could go in one front room stacked. Simple enough... right? NO... apparently not. Garage stuff was stacked in the house, some house items were stacked in the garage, nothing for the master bedroom was in the master bedroom. After the couch was moved in, and assembled ( because it was a sectional ) .. my fiance decided to sit on it for a few minutes, and guess what? She was sitting in water. There was NO WAY that they carried this couch and it's cushions in, and handled it to assemble it, and did not notice it was soaked with water. But they sure weren't going to mention it to us. We had to ask them and ask them bluntly what the **** was going on with all of the water? That's when they finally admitted there was a leak in the moving truck and stopped what they were doing and took some pictures. I understand stuff happens and there is a leak.. that's what insurance is for... but these guys were blatantly trying to hide it so they didn't have to deal with it. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. People should also note, this company is not a member of the BBB, and not a member of any major moving organization from what I can tell. I honestly thought I was dealing with A1A Movers and Storage ( who is a member of all of these ) and was sorely disappointed to find out this company is using a similar name to get some of their business.
