Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • They blocked my driveway and walked across my lawn. When I asked them why they needed to park there and they claimed it had to do with the hoses. They became confrontational when I asked and they told me I needed to learn how to speak to people and then proceeded to tell me that if I continue to talk to them like that I am going to get hurt.

  • I signed a contract with these people.  I can't get them to do the basics -- fertilize and treat for bugs.  They don't show up. I called on 7/7 to ask when they will treat and they said sometime during that week.  No show.  I called 4 days later and asked when they would treat.  They were not sure.  They sent out an 'inspector' today (7/15).  He treated for weeds.  I asked why he didn't do the whole treatment -- fertilizer, etc -- and he said he doesn't have fertilizer on his truck.  He said maybe someone will come next week.  No treatment for 10 weeks in the middle of the growing season???  That's just wrong.   He said I have hot spots -- no, I have bugs, which you are supposed to treat. I can see them.  He admitted they are supposed to be there every 6 weeks this time of year.

The last treatment was May.  I had to call them that time to get them out, too.  The person argued with me that someone had just been there.  I work from home and look out over my driveway and lawn.  No one had been there and there was no sign in my yard, and no door hanger saying anything was done.

This is very frustrating.  Save yourself the frustration and hire someone else. They sell you on 'call us anytime' -- I called 3 times last week and still have not received what I asked for.

  • I came in contact with Provider name locked. 's twice.  A couple of years ago, I made a mistake to request a quote for lawn service. I found a better deal and declined services from Provider name locked. 's.  After that I was literally bombarded by calls from Provider name locked. 's pressuring me to buy their services.  Every time they called I was asking them to stop calling me.  They annoyed me so much, so I have not purchased any of Provider name locked. 's products sold in Home Depot or Lowes.   Second contact happened yesterday, 6//9/15 at about 5-6 PM.  I was not home and a "professional lawn inspector" whose hame is Provider name locked. (phone number 904 625 1195) came to examine our lawn.  He has been just walking to every house on our street soliciting for lawn servicves from Provider name locked. 's, eventhough, our subdivition has policy of no soliciting and "no soliciting" sign is clearly displayed at the entrance of our subdivition (East Provider name locked. ).  In addition, I have my own sign displayed on the front porch, which states the same:  "no soliciting of any kind".   Mr Provider name locked. examined the lawn and then spoke with my wife (I was not home, as stated above).  He told her that our lawn is infected with paracites, that our soil is not balanced, etc.  the fliyer he left had following items checked:
    1. Nutrient deficiency
    2. weeds
    3. Potential insects
    4. program recommended:  Provider name locked. 's lawnservice.
I have an excellent lawn service company (Peninsular pest control), which by the way I highly recommend.   Peninsular takes care of any nutrition deficiency and pests very efficiently.   the number of weeds that my lawn has (thanks to peninsular) has a tiny fraction of weeds when compared to my neighbors.
But what totally upset me is the following.  Mr. Provider name locked. showed my wife areas of dry grass and said that it was the sign of nutrient deficiency and infestation with parasices.   The areas of dry grass was in perfect semi-circle around several of my sprinkler heads.  I am not a lawn pro, just a Provider name locked. home owner, but when I examined the areas of dry grass, I immediately realized that the sprinkler heads simply needed to be adjusted, which I did.   one day later, grass looks healthy again.   Now, I refuse to believe that a professional lawn inspector will misdiagnosed such obvious problem with sprinkler heads as "nutriwion deficiency and potential insects".   He is clearly was trying to sell her service by lying to my wife.
Button line:  Provider name locked. 's company is unprofessional, pushy, and cannot be trusted.   Avoid it like the plaque.  and if you want a healthy green lawn, I recommend Peninsular pest control
