Paragon Painting & Pressure Washing Inc
We put out a RFQ to clean, inspect, repair damaged siding and paint our home. This was an evaluated bid, not a low price quote evaluation. After talking with the owner of Paragon and reviewing his proposal it was absolutely clear he was head and shoulders above the other painting contractors. He not only fully understood what was needed he had the best approach for handling the job. Tim was punctual, maintained clear communication throughout the project, kept us informed throughout and had wonderful suggestions throughout. His carpentry expertise was some of the very best Ive yet to see. His ability to safely remove damaged cedar siding without damaging adjoining boards was nothing short of magnificent. His cuts were a work of precision and the new board fit with such exactness that they couldnt be seen as different from the original (except they were screwed in as opposed nailed.) After replacing the damaged cedar and caulking joints and knots, more than 5 cases of caulk, he then prepared the wood one last time for painting and sprayed each color a minimum of 2 coats. The doors were removed, sanded, and spray painted with 3 coats. The end result was startling. We couldnt be happier with the work of Tim and Paragon Paining and Pressure Washing. The term He went the extra mile seems trite as its so over used but in this case its so true. Every detail was covered, every extra was included, even those we never thought of going into the project. The pictures below arent great, Im not much of a photographer, but even so, they speak for themselves. Tims work is in a class by itself. By no means is he cheap, his bid was the most expensive of the four received. But his work was worth every penny invested.

Kaz was very punctual every day he worked. He did not waste time, worked hard, and cleaned up after he was finished. He was effective in communicating the requirements necessary to complete each task. I would highly recommend him for your home repairs. Kaz charges by the hour plus the cost for materials and provides the purchase receipts for the home owner.

    Tivey Construction Inc
I knew this would be a difficult project from the outset. I have previously renovated five very old houses by myself and sold all for record high prices at the time. I have also worked in the building business for my Dad who was a Master Builder. It was thus difficult for me to relinquish control to a contractor due to my other professional priorities. Marks approach to high level estimation and design won my confidence in the face of formidable competition from well known companies. Then came the actual detailed design back and forth which Mark dealt with patiently and with great ideas until I was finally satisfied. His well presented project plan cemented the deal. Depth of experience gained from years in major construction ensures that Mark has the upper hand when dealing with suppliers, sub-contractors and the inevitable unforeseen problems that arise during an intricate building project such as it was. I saw Mark acquit himself well during all of the project phases. When all else fails Mark rolls up his sleeves and takes care of business himself.something I have come to prefer as he does the job so much better than the subs. Marks insightful quick thinking and managerial confidence during the various crisis moments ensured that my money was not wasted. He enjoys what he does. It is easy for me to allocate the five star rating.

    AAA Advanced Residential Rehab LLC
They came out the same day to give a quote. We walked around the house and noted spots to be repaired or looked at to be repaired. The price was high, but it had been difficult to get anyone out to do the job and they could start the next workday so I decided to go with them. They were very professional during the walk-around and quote period but after giving me a quote they acted more like a "used car salesman" pushing the sale along. The workmanship was poor in some areas. For example one part of wood repaired stuck out a quarter inch than the existing and they didn't put it with the grain of the existing wood. The window sills were also poorly done with little attention to detail. When additional repairs beyond the scope were found, they quoted a price three times a similar job I had done six months earlier. They did come down on the price. Their initial material fee was no where near what they spent on actual materials.

    Remodeling Pros
Keith is a good salesman with lots of good reviews and listened well during design. We did make some changes during the project. Once our project began, communication with the customer and subcontractors, project management, and quality control were shown not to be his strengths. We are very blessed that we had the resources to live elsewhere during the demolition and construction. Florida and Texas had hurricanes about 30 days into our project and we believe that had major negative impacts to Keiths pool of subcontractors. Our project sat for 30-45 days with only a few hours of work during that time. Keith never really recovered. Keith seemed willing to call subcontractors back numerous times and delay the end date of the project indefinitely, but we routinely disagreed on what was acceptable. We pushed Keith to complete everything we could in the last month. After over 4 months for a 3 month project, we had lost confidence and locked Keith and his subcontractors out. We hired additional contractors to perform repair work, finish and repair drywall mud, completely repaint, and just pay attention to details. Our 300 sqft bath and closet addition ultimately turned out very nice. Not recommended.

    Mr. Handyman Serving Greater Jacksonville
The representative arrived on time, assessed the work, set up, and calibrated how he could get the work done within the one hour framework so that I could save money on the service call. Excellent in all respects, and the repair looks great.

    H.W. Home Improvementsw
We hired Mr Mickey Childers owner of H>W. Home Improvements, LLC to install new tile flooring in our house. Mr. Childers then sub-contracted this job out to Hammerhead Handyman Services, LLC without us knowing this, The job was not finished, many issues on what was done and damage done to the house during install. Both companies where contacted on a daily basis with none of the issues addressed. The job was paid in full and was never finished or the damaged and improperly done actions actually fixed.

    Remodeling Pros
We sustained major damage in our house due to one of the most severe hurricanes experienced in Jacksonville Florida during the winter of 2017. A huge tree fell on top of the house destroying a major sections of the entire house. Remodeling Pros was one of the contractors we contacted to bid on the job. We awarded the job to them because they were very thorough and clear on the explanation of the process of rebuilding our home. The damage consisted of major repairs to the roof, structural repairs, electrical, plumbing, floors and a full renovation of the kitchen and a bedroom. Since day one, Keith was on time to all our appointments and meetings. The work was performed with professionals in every field that the renovation required. Keith was responsive to all questions and must of all was easily accessible to us when we needed to contact him. Our house had to pass several rigorous city inspections. Every inspector commented positively on the workmanship of the work performed. That gave us reassurance that the work been done was of the highest standards. Thank you, Remodeling Pros, for your excellent services. I will strongly recommend Remodeling Pros for is a pleasure to work with true professionals. All the best, Paul Naranjo, Home owner.

    Incore Builders Corp
When notified that I had major exterior and interior damage from a tree falling on my roof, Richard Henderson was at my home within 2 hours of my phone call. He immediately tarped over the gaping holes in my roof. He was back the next day to review the damage in detail and provided me a quote for the work needing to be done. After reviewing and accepting his quote; he and his crew came out and began work. Richard helped his crew to insure they knew what was to be done and then left them to do it. He came back several times, over the course of a 2 week effort, to review the progress, offer suggestions to us and provide guidance to his men. His crew headed by Darrell were polite, professional and efficient. Their work quality was excellent.
