  • Fought bladder cancer for 3 years before having my bladder removed approx 7/2009. This is a rough surgery and had a neo bladder for replacement. Dr Provider name locked. is very friendly and caring. Always upbeat. He explained all the options before hand and also all the possible negatives of the surgery. I see him for annual check-ups now. Would not trade him for another doctor he is great.

  • My dad's last experience with Dr. Provider name locked. was a nightmare.  I started calling the office early on a Fri. morning, trying to get him in to see any one of the 30 doctors during the day, finally heard back from his nurse at 4:00, and was told to take him to the emergency room because it was too late to bring him to the office.  At the hospital, his catheter was irrigated and he was given an antibiotic--something that surely could have been taken care of at the office.  I found out over that weekend that the nurse had made an appointment on Mon. morning, so my dad saw a P.A. and was told he needed to have his catheter irrigated twice a day.  My dad's home health care nurse then started calling the office at noon that day to get the doctor's order so that it would be covered by Medicare, and didn't get the order until Thurs. morning.  I find this treatment absolutely inexcusable, and have found a new urologist for him. They don't answer the phone after 3:30--you'll have to leave a message, and they say they'll call back the next business day.  Has the practice gotten so big and important that they don't have time for their patients any more?

  • My husband, who has always taken me to my appointments, appreciated the good care Dr. Provider name locked. had given me and switched.  Having a long history of prostate cancer in his family, he has a yearly exam and blood tests to monitor his PSA (an elevated PSA can indicate this kind of cancer).  A level of “4” or below is normal, and his had been around “1” for many years.  Last fall, however, the levels Provider name locked. to a “2”.  Dr. Provider name locked. , being the cautious doctor that he is, ordered a biopsy to Provider name locked. out any possible problems even though the levels were still very much within the normal ranges. A small amount of cancer was found, and we met to discuss options, deciding on surgery to totally remove the prostate. The biopsy done on it confirmed the diagnosis but reassured us that no cancer cells had travelled outside the prostate. We’re grateful to Dr. Provider name locked. for his alertness and caution, and his excellent care that goes beyond a “bedside manner”!
