  • I contacted Provider name locked. Investigation based on their listing with a professional organization and their local presence.  I talked with Mr. Provider name locked. over the phone, got a price for the service I wanted, and decided to use his service.  I had a police report with extensive information on the person to be investigated, and I provided all of this information to Mr. Provider name locked. .  My first contact with him was in February, 2012 and I paid in advance on 2/24/2012.  Mr. Provider name locked. estimated it would take a week or so to compile the report and I let him know that was acceptable, in preparation for a court date about a month away.
On March 7, 2012, I requested a status by email and received a prompt response from Mr. Provider name locked. that he was finalizing the report.
On March 16, 2012, I emailed Mr. Provider name locked. that the court date had been postponed to April 17, 2012, so he could take additional time if he needed it to do more extensive investigation.  He acknowledged the message via email.
On April 2, 2012, I emailed requesting a status and received a prompt reply that there was nothing new and he would get the report together.
On April 10, 2012, I emailed to remind Mr. Provider name locked. that the court date was one week away.  He promptly replied that he would get the report together.
On Friday, April 13, 2012, I emailed Mr. Provider name locked. in the morning and told him I needed his report by 5:00 p.m. that day.  He emailed a pdf with the report at 4:06 p.m.
The report was lengthy and thorough, and appeared to include everything I asked for.  My only complaint at this point was the lack of timeliness in providing the report.
One item in the report appeared to have relevance for the court proceeding.  It was not until this item was further researched over the next few days that we discovered the item in the report was about a different person - same name, different middle initial - than the person who was the subject of investigation.
The following is from an email that I sent to Mr. Provider name locked. on 4/20/2012.  This was the last contact we have had.  The name and identifying characteristics have been changed.
"Provider name locked. , Thank you very much for your report. ... The item on page 4 of the report, Case number beginning 99999 [involving a criminal conviction], looked like it would be very helpful.  Provider name locked. stated in deposition that he had never been convicted of a crime.  When the court record was obtained, we found that that case involved a different Provider name locked. .  Although his name was given as Provider name locked. L. Provider name locked. in the heading, the text showed it was actually Provider name locked. R. Provider name locked. . I would not have expected you to take the extra step of obtaining the court record - although it would have been nice - but perhaps if you had verified date of birth or social security number, that would have saved us some time and effort.  Of course, if we had had the information even a couple of weeks sooner, we wouldn't have been doing the verification at the last minute.  Not to mention the adjusting and re-adjusting of strategy.  Perhaps you can use this feedback as you help clients in the future.  Thank you again for your work."

  • The economic environment has created a lot of fraudulent and dishonest businesses.  Omni has helped me stay clear of these situations.  I learned the hard way and now I call Omni first.
