Jack was great. He responded very quickly by phone after my online request for a quote (on a Sunday, no less), and set up the tuning the next day. I knew the piano was badly out of tune (hadn't been tuned since before my last move over 5 years ago). Jack spent about 2 hours, first getting the keys to actually plan the right notes (yes, it was that bad), then tuning it beautifully, as demonstrated by his final brief, but delightful, demo of a number of popular tunes. There was an extra (and well deserved) fee for the extra initial work, so the cost below doesn't reflect what a normal tuning would be.

    Chad Hetrick Music Services
Went great. Chad was running early so texted to see if he could come earlier. My piano had been moved twice in 2 years and had been stored vertically on palettes during two major remodel projects so it required way more than the average tuning service and some minor repairs to some broken parts (plus probably hadnt been tuned for 5 years before the first move). The complete service/repair was $195 which I thought was reasonable for the 2+ hours it took to get it back in tune ( plus the action of the keys has always been too stiff and Chad fixed that too). Sounds great! P.S. He was also the pianist at an event at my house this weekend and though I was not the person that hired him for that, I would definitely hire him in the future.

    BUSSELL PIANO SERVICE
Excellent, Bob was prompt and professional, he even came back to address a minor issue a couple of weeks later. Pricing was very reasonable (Angie's List discount applied to cost). The piano sounds better than it has in years!

Mr. Hetrick did a great job in tuning and cleaning our piano. He was prompt, courteous, and took time to explain everything he was going to do to properly tune the piano. Mr. Hetrick is also an accomplished pianist and played the piano after finishing to show it was in tune. I would highly recommend Mr. Hetrick for piano tuning.

    BUSSELL PIANO SERVICE
The first thing he noticed was that the legs were not installed correctly and the piano could have fallen anytime - they were also not locked in. So rather than telling me I needed to hire a professional piano mover to properly set up the piano, he worked on it and we were able to straighten out the legs and get them properly locked and installed correctly. The piano tuning process was very quick and my piano sounds great. There were 2 charges - 1 for the installation of the pedals and legs and then the piano tuning. It had been 15-20 years since the piano had been tuned. Tuning was $170 and the installation/repair of legs was $75. $20 off for Angie's List Coupon

    Bonner Piano Service & Sales
He was friendly and we built a rapport, then he got right to work. He showed me where moths had been in the piano, but said they hadn't done any damage yet - told me I could keep them away by rubbing a moth cake on the felt where they'd been. The moth cake crumbs will keep them away. He seemed to care a lot about the piano - the work is more than just a job to him, which I appreciate a lot. He was very efficient in the tuning and left the piano sounding great!

Seems that the tuning didn't last as long as before, it may be the age of the piano. Oh he was fine with that. Probably have a per-vision to check back with him, to see if the tuning should have lasted longer. I didn't call him back. I think that's a reasonable price. I think he came fairly shortly.

    BUSSELL PIANO SERVICE
Bob came out to tune an almost 30 year old piano. I got it for free on Craigslist so I wasn't sure of the condition of the internals or the quality. He had to do a pitch raise along with a tune. He was very thorough and also answered every question I had about the piano. The piano now sounds great and I believe it will be in the family for years to come.

    BUSSELL PIANO SERVICE
Excellent experience. Was able to schedule within a week at a time that fit into my work schedule. Mr Bussell gave me the the price over the phone based on the type of piano I had and the years since it was tuned. He showed up exactly on time. It took him about 45 minutes to complete the job and the charge was 20$ less than he quoted as he gives a discount to Angie's List members.
