Pharmacy reviews in Indianapolis

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • They could have more staff in the pharmacy. There are times where, if I drive up, there is a lot of people there. But then, there are times where if I see people in line, I'll go inside. There might be people buying other things, maybe over-the-counters, but they get in line. There are three registers, but usually only one of them is open. So, you might stand in line for a long time. Even where I've had something dropped off, they will announce. They will say, "Prescription is ready," and then you go, and there are two or three people in line sometimes. So even though they've called you, you still have to stand in line and it's very slow because they will usually have only one person that's multitasking. So, I pretty much always have to plan. It's not very quick to get prescriptions usually.

  • They thoroughly explain everything and work well with doctor's offices and insurance companies.  The pharmacist, Mary Brown,  has gone above and beyond all of these years.  I would highly recommend seeing her at CVS.

  •   i am receiving my prescription from Express Scripts because is my only choice per my agreement with Ford Motor Co. and the UAW. I ordered my Victoza and the prescription called for 3 boxes with 3 injectable pens. this is a three month supply. When i received it i only had 2 boxes. I really never thought about it thinking it was correct. I ran out of medicine so i called Express Scripts and they verified that they only sent two, futher saying that was correct. After arguing with Jenny, Amber, Robin,  Ashley (rude) LeAnn (nice, but clueless) and finally got Cory who said he was the phaamicist. He checked the scrips and said it had been entered wrong. I said "who entered it wrong"? he kept repeating the same thing never admitting that he had screwed it up. I was then told that he (Cory) said he would overnight my shortage. He never did. After several days i called again to get the same run around. Finally, with me screaming by now, they called it in to Walrreens.
I reordered it again on 10/17 and when i get the meds they had shorted me again. Clearly not following my Doctors orders. Again i call and get the same run around. This time gets heated and the they agreed to send me my third package that they had shorted me. I have a copay which i had already paid, then when i get the  package owed, Express Scripts charged me another copay. I again called and got a supervisor who agreed to refund money back into my checking account. Doing this is simple and only takes a minute or so.  As of yet, i don't have my refund. She ended up hanging up on me. Very rude and unprofessional. This is something that small children do?
So, i have started filing complaints with everyone that will read it including The Pharmacy Board, Indiana Attorney General and i wont stop until these people that are not filling prescriptions correctly, plus double billing etc. is stopped. They caused my sugar level to spike really high being out of medicine for 11 days. I really have never encountered anyone so rude and disrespectful.

  • It turned out just fine. It's always good there. The environment is okay. It's in the store. They should have a bench or two to sit down there because if you have to wait as you sometimes do it's kind of a hassle and you're right up against shelves where people are shopping. It's not exactly convenient that way. But on the other hand, it's not horrible. Based on price, I would recommend it. I haven't checked lately on prices and I should. I did one prescription refill at another provider and Sam's was a whole lot cheaper.

  • We like the staff that is there in the pharmacy. They are friendly and if there is an issue they will call and check in. When they say they are going to get the prescription filled they are going to do it. They know me by name.

  • It has been very good. They're usually quick. You can have the prescriptions called in and then they'll fax you when they're ready. When you pick them up, you have fast check outs and you don't have to wait in line.

  • If you are on Medicare, you can get one pair of diabetic shoes free and Dr. Aziz is one of the pharmacies that carry the shoes. They're very professional and easy to work with. They're very nice and friendly.

  • I want to thank the clerks and the pharmacists at the Geist CVS for the consistent and courteous service I receive as a regular weekly patron. I have been so impressed with the professionalism of the pharmacy staff with regard to both their efficiency and their patience with my questions or concerns. I also would like to especially thank Mary Lynn at the front counter in the retail section. I never fail to get a cheerful smile, a bit of advice and a reminder to check my wallet for the CVS Rewards dollars that she always separates from my receipts and ensures I have tucked away in my wallet. I look forward to going into the store and each staff member has never failed to recognize me (more often than not by name) greeted me with a warm welcome. It's not a small thing to me that in this day and age there are people who make you feel like they are happy to see you when you walk into a business. Well done CVS and, of course, thank you Mary Lynn for always being a bright spot in my day.

  • They can do a much better job. They did something wrong with my kid's prescription that they have been filling--three times, not one, not two and every time I went there, they reassured me that they're going to fix the problem but they did not until the last time I talked to the manager and she fixed it. I was really disappointed because they give me a phone call and I pick up the prescription and it's the wrong one and that's wasting my time. I can tell the staff wasn't really apologetic. They're like "Somebody else did it" and I'm like "Yeah, you both work in the same company" so I don't know who it might be. There's no basic customer service training. That's basic--you apologize; it's nothing personal. If somebody made a mistake, you apologize in behalf of everybody in CVS, but they don't do that. If I had another choice, I wouldn't use them.

  • It's good and it's good as anywhere else. They have a good system and quality of medications. It will be usually ready within an hour to pick up, if I needed that quickly. It's a good store in general with a lot of different products along with the pharmacy so it makes shopping convenient. Their prices are good.
