This was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The office staff was efficient and thorough. I was paying for the exam since it was too soon for another exam and they explained exactly what the charges would be and took care of the paperwork.
The exam itself made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Provider name locked. obviously knew what she was doing, explained all of the procedures during the exam, consistently referred to my medical history (having read it before my exam), and frankly discussed what she observed. She talked to me as an intelligent adult while still making sure I understood all the information presented and left plenty of time for questions.
I also was getting new glasses and loved that experience as well. I'm terrible at picking out glasses, so they picked lots out and gave me their opinion (which I requested and appreciated greatly). It was like shopping with a friend.
I received my glasses as promised and have been very pleased.
Finally, their fees are so reasonable for the quality and caliber of service I received. I was and expect to continue to be pleased.- William M.
Dr. Provider name locked. is fantastic. He identified my son's condition early and clearly explained the likely treatments and outcomes. He gives the right amount of information at each visit without overwhelming us. He clearly is an expert in his field. He started my son with glasses at age 3 and gave him time to get used to those before adding on the patching 6 months later. At our check up 3 months after starting patching, Dr. Provider name locked. celebrated with us the improvement in my son's vision. He engaged my son and praised his work (patching is hard) and really made it clear that my son was doing a great job. I could see that it made my son feel very proud -- which is a huge help as we continue to patch. We have another check up at the end of this month and I expect more improvement in his vision. I am thrilled with the clinical results. After all, that is why we hired Dr. Provider name locked. -- to fix my son's vision. Dr. Provider name locked. has good bedside manner. He has a ton of energy and lots of personality and is a fast talker, which may be a little overwhelming at first for a more reserved child. However, he is warm and friendly and my son warms up to him quickly. My constructive criticism is (1) sometimes I want Dr.Provider name locked. to slow down a little. He is a whirlwind of energy and sometimes after he leaves the room I realize that I had more questions. However, his staff is great and I usually am able to follow up with them to get my questions answered. I need to be diligent about having a list of questions and reviewing it before I let Dr Provider name locked. leave the room; and (2) sometimes he talks to me instead of my son. For example, Dr. Provider name locked. emphasized to me the importance of having my son continue to wear the patch. I'm already on board. It is my son who is self-conscious about having to wear it and needs the encouragement and to understand how important it is. At 4, he is pretty tuned in and I think it helps to have Dr. Provider name locked. tell HIM that it is important to keep wearing his patch. However, at our last appointment, I just asked Dr. Provider name locked. to explain that to my son, and he did a great job. This is the only reason I gave Dr. Provider name locked. a B for Communication. I also gave a B for availability simply because Dr. Provider name locked. is so busy and his schedule is booked very far in advance. When we have had to reschedule an appointment (even when we have known a month or so before the appointment), we have had to book a month or even two after the original appointment. Families are busy and sometimes conflicts arise. I am disappointed to have to wait so long to get my son in to see him. Dr. Provider name locked. was highly recommended to us by our pediatrician, and I would definitely highly recommend him to other families.- JULIE D.
