Dr. Holbreich is a very through and careful doctor. He listens extremely well to determine what areas need to be addressed. His staff is friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable in dealing with allergies and the possible reactions to injections. They monitor the waiting area for patients who may be having reactions to their injections, and check everyone before they leave to see that it is safe for them to leave. They even handle those rare instances of reaction in a calm and efficient manor. We found this out personally when after one injection my son was checked out and we left heading to do some errands. After a short time he was coughing a lot and started having trouble breathing, a call to the office had us turning right around. They had the medication to treat him for the reaction ready when we arrived and monitored him carefully until all of his symptoms subsided. From that visit on the staff always made sure to check that he had taken his prescribed medication that day as an extra precaution. The office staff and nurses who gave the injections were always friendly and spoke directly with each of the kids. They continued to ask about my daughter after she had finished her program. They are also very flexible for shot appointments as they prefer not to give injections when the patient is sick as the body is less able to handle the extra allergens in their system. There were many times I would call shortly before a scheduled time and say that one of the kids had come home from school not feeling well or that some other conflict had come up. They would always find a way to work around the scheduling problems and remain cheerful at the same time. We will miss the caring atmosphere and staff we have come to know over the last 5 years!

The testing was very thorough and in fact ruled out all allergies to the foods we had originally anticipated, however did identify an allergy that we were able to address and follow suggested ways to alleviate his allergies.

Dr. Jansen is great at working with me to determine the best course of treatment for my kids. I feel like I can make the decisions about meds based on her recommendations, suggestions and sharing of knowledge. Although they have ups and downs with seasonal allergies, I feel like we have it more controlled. My son was having some side effects to asthma medications and she worked with us to find a better combination that had fewer side effects but were effective in the treatment.

The allergy injection program is such a well ran program and gives a parent piece of mind. I have called when a reaction has occurred and spoken directly to a nurse or even Dr. Holbreich. Occasionally we have waited for the injections beyond our scheduled time but 15 minutes is no big deal when the next time you may be running late and need that extra time in traffic. I appreciate the office staff smiles and remembering names and details which makes a difference in a hectic day. The office staff is extremely knowledgeable in matters related to allergy and asthma. Dr. Holbreich is a first rate doctor who will tell you the facts and present what he believes is the best treatment plan for your child. He is up to date on current medicines and issues facing the allergic and asthmatic child. He is open to discussion especially if you have complicated issues. He works well with our physicians on behalf of your child which other doctor's sometimes are not receptive. He is a pleasure to work with and he lives out the philosophy that, "the needs of the patient come first".

He's extremely knowledgeable. He's helped my daughter with food allergies. He's worked with my surgeon to help with my son. He's helped with unusual needs. I never have to wait for appointments. I know he takes most insurance as well as Medicaid. He did not go into this for the money, he really likes kids.

We didn't have to wait to get in, both the doctor and the nurses and front office staff were very friendly and sweet, and not *scary* for an 18 month old.
