I have celiac disease and I've been struggling to figure out what to eat for years. I was recently diagnosed with severe endometriosis. My uterus was removed as well as all the Provider name locked. they could find. Because my ovaries were left intact, it was explained there is a Provider name locked. my endometriosis could come back. I was told my best way to defend myself was to lower my hormone level by losing weight and body fat.
I met with Provider name locked. and explained my situation. She was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. She specializes in celiac so she was great at educating me on things I didn't know and reaffirmed those that I did know. She asked me what kinds of foods I did like and what kind I didn't. She worked with me to create a meal plan that would help me Provider name locked. body fat as well as insure I was getting all the nutrients I would be lacking from my gluten free diet. She gave me a lot of great information about the foods I needed and even helped me include foods that were great defense against the growth of endometriosis.
The only complaint I have is with regards to the staff in the hospital during that day. Before I came to my appointment, the receptionist told me to come to the 86st entrance of the hospital, which I did. However, when I got there, there was a long line for one receptionist. After waiting several minutes for my turn, she informed me she had no idea who I was looking for and had to call around to figure out where I was supposed to be. She was in no hurry what-so-ever which was frustrating because I was now late to my appointment due to the long line. I was eventually told I was supposed to be on the other side of the hospital. I hurried over there, met with the correct receptionist, and she told me to sit in the waiting room so I could be registered. I waited for 45 minutes and no one ever called my name. By this time it was 5PM and I was thinking the doctor had probably left. Just as I was about to leave, the doctor herself came out into the waiting room calling for me. As I met her, the receptionist came over and stated she didn't understand why the registration people had never called my name and would just do the registration on her time.
Due to the lack of organization of the office staff, I can't rate the billing yet because I haven't received the bill. I have started my new lifestyle and meal plan so as time goes on, I will rate the effectiveness of treatment if I see results.
