  • Looking for child care was one of the hardest parts about becoming a new mom. It's such a daunting task to find a place that you trust to care for your new baby! I didn't want an in-home daycare and I wasn't thrilled about the high ratios in the commercial daycare settings. When I learned about the uniqueness of Provider name locked. I fell in love instantly. She has 3 houses at the end of a cul-de-sac all specified for the ages in the home; infant house, toddler house, and preschool house. The babies and children are in environments that are set up for their age groups and ran by teachers who are well educated and have been there for years. Another favorite part is that is different from commercial daycare is the sleeping areas. I toured many daycares and they all had the cribs in the same area as the play area. At Provider name locked. the babies sleep in a bedroom, play in the living room, and eat in the kitchen. But, by far my favorite part about Provider name locked. is the ratio of teachers to children. The infant house is 3:1 and the toddler and preschool house only go up to 4:1. That means my son is getting more one-on-one attention and love from his teachers. I live and work downtown but make the drive to Provider name locked. because Provider name locked. was the place that I felt the most confident in, the place that I trusted the most to care for our son. I can't say enough good things about Provider name locked. and will recommend it to anyone who asks!

  • Our son is in his second month in their toddler program. The first year he stayed with our mother-in-law (she was also awesome), so we were nervous to take him somewhere outside of family. We could not be more pleased with our choice.
He giggles when we pull in the parking lot each morning; that's how much he loves it here. He also is getting great peer interaction, and he clearly adores his teachers. They have creative lesson plans and themed weeks. We were nervous to take him somewhere outside of family. We could not be more pleased with our choice. He is clearly happy, which means so are we.

  • I had no major problems with the care that was provided, except that the last 3 times my son went there, he came home with a red/raw bottom.  I attributed this to him teething and having frequent stools, but who really knows.  More frequent diaper changes would have kept that from happening.  The issue I have is the way this woman does business.  She requires a $250 "deposit" to hold your spot, which I gladly paid, thinking that my son would be in her care for a long time.  But, because she got into trouble with the state, she dropped us because we were only part-time.  So, my $250 only bought me 5-6 weeks of service.  She refused to refund us even a portion of the money that we are now having to cough up for a replacement Provider name locked. .  She even acted as though I was ridiculous for asking for a refund, saying that it was non-refundable.  I understand her needing to have some insurance to protect her from wishy-washy parents that have her hold a spot and then back out.  But, she is the one that backed out on the agreement in this case.  Not only do I have to scramble to find a Provider name locked. , which is never a decision you want to make in a rush, but now I have to pay a deposit to get into another day care.  That is money that I now cannot spend on my child.  She is holding onto money that does NOT belong to her.  I have turned her into the Better Business Bureau because of this issue.
